Mila paced nervously in the room as she waited for the princess to return. "Your highness you need to come quick. Your mother would behead me if she found out I let you sneak out again."
Her hands trembled slightly as she looked out the window every minute, trying to see if the princess was coming, but her face always fell in disappointed each time she looked because she was no where in sight.
Just then, a knock made her jolt in shock, and her heart began racing. Her mind reeled, wondering who was behind the door. Was it the queen? Had she finally realized the princess wasn't in the palace?
The knock persisted, and Mila had no choice but to answer the door. With a nervous breath, she opened...but to her surprise, it was Yuval standing there.
Yuval was the son of a noble, and a potential suitor of the princess, although the Princess never liked him and never payed any attention to him.
"Where's Isabella?" Yuval asked, smiling brightly.
