Chapter 1 - Introduction ~ Prologue

Main Character Introduction:

 Sahvik Sandhu

Title: The Enemy King | The Ruthless Victor | Her Reluctant Obsession

A man born for the battlefield but destined for something darker.

He conquered her kingdom, destroyed her world — and claimed her as his bride. His silence speaks louder than war drums, and his eyes burn like vengeance dressed as royalty. He's not a lover. He's a warning.

But even nightmares have hearts… right?

 Reem Valestra

Title: The Fallen Queen | The Bride in Chains | The Fire Beneath Ruins

Crowned in ashes, veiled in hatred.

Reem was never meant to bow. Not to any man, not even the one who tore her kingdom apart. But hatred turns to hunger, and danger wears a devastating face.

She is rage with a crown. And she's beginning to crave the hands that ruined her.

Prologue :

Unbelievable.

I married him.

I fucking married the man I hate the most.

The tent's curtains flew open, revealing him—towering like a god of war, his eyes dark with hunger. I sat frozen on the bed, a prey caught in a predator's gaze.

He stepped closer.

Closer.

Until his shadow devoured mine.

He inhaled deeply—my scent, my fear, my rage—like I was the last breath keeping him alive.

My blood boiled.

I slipped the dagger from my sleeve, closed my eyes, and struck.

When I opened them, blood was dripping—down my face, my neck, my cleavage. But it wasn't his.

It was mine.

My dagger was in his fist...

And I had wounded myself.

"Trying to kill your husband on the wedding night, mia regina?"

He smirked, the devil in human skin.

And slowly... he hovered over me.

I should have feared him.

I didn't.

He pressed the dagger to my throat.

His breath was on my lips, his body caging mine.

"You know what I like most about you?"

He bit into my neck like a starving animal.

"You don't get scared. You've got everything a queen should be."

The blade dragged downward—

from my throat, to my collarbone, to the valley of my breasts...

to my stomach...

and lower.

My breath hitched.

My body betrayed me.

I hated the way I craved his dominance.

I hated the way I wanted him to ruin me.

His eyes locked on mine. Cold. Burning. Alive.

And then—he plunged the dagger—

"You think I'll break you tonight?" he whispered, lips brushing mine.

"No, regina. Tonight, I'll make you beg for the breaking."

Blurb :

"He came disguised as a shadow. She ruled with fire in her veins. What bound them was never love — it was something far more dangerous."

In a land where kingdoms fall for less than a whispered secret, Princess Reem Valestra was born to wield power — not trust it. With war clawing at her borders and a crown slipping through bloodstained fingers, she's forced to carry her father's legacy while danger watches her from within her own halls.

He introduced himself as no one — an old man with quiet eyes and harmless questions. But Sahvik Sandhu, Prince of the enemy empire, wasn't here for peace. He came to dismantle her world, brick by sacred brick.

He came to claim her.

Their union wasn't forged by love.

It was a bargain with ruin.

And he always knew what she didn't:

Some bloodlines aren't blessed. They're cursed.

Whispers follow her in the night. A haunted diary demands her blood.

Behind closed doors, her husband's skin burns with secrets she was never meant to know.

And as the moon bleeds and the sky fractures, Reem finds herself entangled in a fate older than kingdoms — a war that began long before she was born… and may end with her.

Because when the devil comes to collect what's his, love will not save them.

But power might.
