This flirtatious woman was always up to something, constantly seeking my attention.
"No rush, there's plenty of time for that!" I replied with a hint of meaning.
She rolled her eyes at me. "Aren't you afraid of developing feelings over time?"
I snorted when Melody walked over, her face devoid of emotion, and said, "You're a deputy supervisor now. You can't sit here anymore. Move to my side!"
How could that work? If I sat next to her, I would be under constant surveillance.
Grace occasionally came over to help me clear out the trash, and I still needed to chat with the others using a pseudonym.
I smiled. "Melody, I'm fine sitting here. I'm used to it, so there is no need to change seats."

She turned and left, clearly displeased.
"Alright, you guys can get back to work, I will be leaving shortly and won't be back until next week."
