"Why is she trying to seduce me in the elevator? Is she trying to get me into trouble?" Just then, a cough came from the corner, and it was Melody! I didn't dare to turn my head, but I could see Melody's indifferent expression through the mirrored wall of the elevator.
"Grace, please, there are so many people here, don't be so presumptuous, okay?" I said.
She smirks. "What, do you think this young lady is not good enough for you?"
"You do, you do, but it's not appropriate here..."
She snickered, realizing that we were in a crowded elevator with colleagues. She grabbed me once more and then took a step back, remarking. "Look at you, putting on a tough act!" Damn, she was teasing me.
Melody's expression grew even colder. I was in deep trouble. The elevator arrived. I wanted to explain to Melody, but last night, we agreed not to reveal our relationship at work.
She walked faster in her high heels, "clack, clack," even louder than usual.
