When Roland emerged from the kitchen after an hour, Mrs. Tachibana Katō's eyes lit up. She patted the space beside her on the sofa, inviting Roland to sit between her and her two daughters.
Roland, of course, squeezed in without hesitation. Hiromi, the elder sister, whose spot he had forcibly taken, showed no resentment whatsoever. Instead, she gazed at him with the doting eyes of someone looking at an adorable younger brother.
She then boldly wrapped her arms around one of Roland's arms, leaning affectionately against his shoulder, while her mother did the same on his other side.
"Roland, you're such a big boy now, but you still love to be spoiled~," Hiromi teased affectionately.
"It's good that he loves to be spoiled! Whenever Roland wants to be pampered, he can just come cuddle in his auntie's arms~," Mrs. Katō cooed, her affection overflowing. She even felt that merely holding his arm wasn't enough to express her love, so she wrapped her arms around his waist as well.
