After giving Gao Jingxuan and Su Lingling some time to digest their insights, Yun Jin reminded them of a few things before sending all three disciples away.
With three slots still available, Yun Jin summoned three Mahayana cultivators, including Qin Ping, and granted them enlightenment as well.
Mahayana cultivators were the highest combat force of the Wushuang Sect. When the Grand Sect Ranking Conclave arrived, they too would have to fight. To overcome the old and seasoned Mahayana cultivators of other sects, Qin Ping and the others still needed to improve significantly.
Now, however, they had access to superior cultivation methods, the Trial Tower, the disciples' quarters, and her personal enlightenment. The centuries of accumulation these three carried would be unleashed at once. They were bound to enter a period of explosive growth.
By the time she finished, all the day's slots were consumed.
After this, Yun Jin intended to gradually summon the entire sect, granting each disciple at least one round of enlightenment. The sect's strength would surely soar as a result.
The next day.
Yun Jin gathered everyone in the main hall and began assigning roles, especially among the Unity-stage cultivators, the backbone of the sect.
"Elder Ming, back in the Tianxing Sect you guarded the Scripture Pavilion. From now on, you'll still be in charge of the Scripture Pavilion. All the sect's classics will be sorted and distributed under your care. Any disciple wishing to borrow scriptures will go through you for record keeping."
Elder Ming was stunned.
His strength had once been respectable in Tianxing Sect. But here in the Wushuang Sect, it was far from impressive.
Guarding the Scripture Pavilion was a major responsibility. Surely there were others far more suited.
Yun Jin handed him a golden tome. "The Scripture Pavilion itself is a great treasure. By binding this tome, you'll be able to control all of its formations. There are many hidden functions within. Take your time to familiarize yourself. With you overseeing it, no one will be able to stir up trouble inside."
Elder Ming accepted the tome with gratitude. He understood Yun Jin's intention. His greatest passion had always been studying scriptures. This was an opportunity delivered directly to him.
The Wushuang Sect's collection of books was on par with a Holy Land. If he could study them freely, he might even one day create his own Heaven-tier techniques. That was his lifelong dream.
His feelings grew complicated. Just months ago, Yun Jin had been a little girl under his protection. Yet now, she had grown to such heights. If helping her back then could be seen as an investment, the returns had been beyond imagination.
The Beastmaster Pavilion was entrusted once again to Ling Fei. Though the sect had few spirit beasts at present, Yun Jin planned to make a trip to the Spirit Beast Forest to lure a few back. Once that was done, the pavilion would truly thrive.
The Lava Dragon and Baiyu Dragon remained sect-protecting beasts, each enjoying their own privileges.
At first, Yun Jin had thought of setting aside Tianxing Peak and Canglan Peak as separate divisions, to give those disciples a sense of belonging. But when she quietly mentioned this to Qin Ping and Fairy Yin Jun, they strongly objected.
They wanted to fully merge into the Wushuang Sect.
So, after discussion, ten mountain peaks near the Sect Master's residence were chosen for construction. Each peak would temporarily be led by a Peak Master, chosen for either their signature techniques or outstanding secondary professions. In the future, they could also accept disciples of their own, provided both master and student agreed.
For now, Tianxing Sect held five of the positions, while the Imperial cultivators filled the other five. This was only temporary. Yun Jin made it clear that once the sect grew, competition would decide who remained. The strong would rise, and those unable to keep up would step down. Everyone agreed.
After all, Wushuang Sect was destined to expand. If anyone lagged behind the sect's growth, it was only natural to be replaced. For now, though, they could enjoy their roles as Peak Masters.
On the Tianxing Sect side, figures like Peak Master Yang Lie continued as lords of their own peaks, enjoying great status.
Yang Hui and the others were equally delighted. They never expected that lending a small hand to Tianjian Peak in the past would one day bring such rewards.
Yang Lie had once given Yun Jin his personal notes on forging. Yun Jin's skill in that art now likely surpassed his, so she returned the favor with a new set of forging insights. These notes had been compiled by the system from countless forging texts, a complete and highly practical methodology.
The moment Yang Lie saw it, he was overjoyed, treating it like a priceless treasure.
Meanwhile, Ma Hongyu, once a disciple of Zhao Wuji and former master of Ye Cheng, had also joined the sect. Though his cultivation was weaker, he remained the most skilled in planting arts among all disciples. Yun Jin put him in charge of the spirit fields alongside Ye Cheng.
Ma Hongyu never dreamed that, after his mistakes, he would still be trusted with such responsibility. Tears welled in his eyes, and in his heart he vowed to repay Yun Jin with his life if need be.
Beyond that, Yun Jin also established several new halls.
-Law Enforcement Hall, to handle disputes within the sect.
-Lecture Hall, where specialists would teach regularly.
-Martial Arena, where disciples could register duels, spar on designated arenas, and have referees judge the results.
-Even the Spirit Kitchen was revived.
Each of these institutions had their own overseers.
Step by step, the Wushuang Sect was becoming a well-organized, smoothly running system. The arrangements took an entire day. Yun Jin remained for another ten days, using the Sect Master's residence to observe the Luck of twenty disciples daily.
Luck, after all, fluctuated over time. Her observation only proved that certain disciples were currently in a period of good fortune, making breakthroughs more likely.
She discreetly passed these names to several Peak Masters, asking them to keep a closer watch.
Once these tasks were complete, and the sect was running smoothly, Yun Jin prepared to set out for the Spirit Beast Forest.
Between the Trial Tower and sect matters, nearly a month had passed. Fortunately, the forest was not far. If things went smoothly, she could return in half a month and perhaps even push the sect closer to the standard of a Super Sect.
The requirements were daunting:
-Ten Mahayana cultivators. Including herself, they had only four, still short by six.
-Twenty Tribulation-stage cultivators. They had fifteen, short by five.
-A hundred Unity cultivators. They had sixty-eight, the biggest gap.
Yun Jin considered.
Many of their high-level fighters were already on the verge of breakthrough. With the Trial Tower and disciples' quarters to assist them, she expected many to advance within the next two months.
Still, top-tier strength was lacking.
Ideally, she would encounter another Qin Ping, someone who could bring an entire group to join the sect. But where could she find such fortune again?
As she thought, an idea suddenly struck.
Wait. On the way to the Spirit Beast Forest, wasn't there a certain place that fit perfectly?
She exhaled.
Yes, that would be on the way.
Decision made, Yun Jin smiled to herself. She would visit that place first—then head for the Spirit Beast Forest.
