Chapter 771 - Farming Emotional Points Like a Pro

Yun Jin stared at the Blackwater Ape's getup, and for a moment, she didn't even know what to say.

That ape, with his massive frame and that stick in his hand… seriously? Why did it feel like he was doing some low-rent cosplay?

After barking his order, the hundred-thousand-strong sea beast army launched their assault all at once.

The Blackwater Ape raised his gigantic staff, leaped into the air, and smashed it down from above.

The scene was spectacular, the spells dazzling.

Yun Jin, however, couldn't even be bothered to watch. She turned her back to the battle and addressed the sea beasts behind her. "What are you standing around for? Have you finished cultivating the new technique yet? Hurry it up, no slacking off, not even for a moment!"

The sea beasts froze.

What the hell?

A hundred thousand enemies were attacking, and Senior Yun wanted them to… cultivate?

Were they hallucinating?

The next second, the attacks slammed into the barrier. Brilliant colors flared across the surface. Even the Blackwater Ape's mighty strike only caused a faint ripple.

Inside the barrier, the sea beasts felt their hearts skip a beat.

And then… nothing. The barrier stayed perfectly intact, as if the attacks had never happened.

"What are you all gawking at? If you don't start cultivating right now, I'll toss you out there myself!" Yun Jin threatened.

The sea beasts glanced at each other in confusion, then quickly sat down cross-legged. This barrier… was it really that strong?

"Start cultivating, all of you!" Yun Jin's voice was firm, leaving no room for argument.

No one dared hesitate. The sea beasts instantly sank into cultivation.

The Blackwater Ape nearly went insane. What the hell were these idiots doing?

They had a hundred thousand troops right here, attacking in full force, and that woman wasn't even preparing to fight? Instead, she was making her side sit down and cultivate?

Was she mocking him on purpose?

The Blackwater Ape couldn't take it anymore. He roared, "Keep attacking!"

He admitted the barrier was impressive. But that was all it was!

Under the power of so many sea beasts, there was no way it would hold forever.

"Senior…" Hei Chi spoke hesitantly.

Yun Jin shot him a sharp look. "Why aren't you cultivating?"

Hei Chi looked aggrieved. "I… I don't have a cultivation technique."

In the lower sea regions, there weren't any cultivation arts, only the brutal law of survival.

"You couldn't have said that earlier?" Yun Jin gave him a glance, then used the system to instantly create a technique based on his constitution. She transmitted it to him directly. "Now you have one. Go cultivate."

Hei Chi's eyes lit up with joy. Among all the sea beasts, he was from the lowest race. He hadn't expected that even he'd be given a personal cultivation art.

Meanwhile, the Blackwater Ape's army was still hammering away.

"Haah!"

"Hmph!"

The roars and blasts filled the water, shaking the sea around them. Yun Jin, however, mostly kept her focus on overseeing the sea beasts' training. Occasionally, she turned around to watch the battle with mild curiosity.

You know what, the colors actually looked pretty nice. If this had been the human world, gathering a hundred thousand cultivators like this would've been almost impossible.

But down here, the sea was overflowing with beasts. The Ink Sea Dragon Palace had pulled this force together in just a few hours. Too bad they were terrible at formations. If they'd studied the barrier properly and found its flaws, a hundred thousand of them could've broken it a hundred times over. Instead, they just kept mindlessly smashing at it.

Yun Jin could only think, "fine then, keep hammering away for the next century if you want."

By now, the Blackwater Ape was so furious he'd revealed his true form. His massive body slammed its fists into the barrier again and again.

He was sweating and panting from the effort, while inside the barrier, Yun Jin casually brought out her sofa and table set again. She poured herself tea, cracked some melon seeds, and watched the show like it was her evening entertainment.

The Blackwater Ape's expression twisted with rage.

This woman...

Was she trying to make him lose his mind?

"What are you glaring at?" Yun Jin rolled her eyes. "Go on, keep hitting. Don't tell me you're already out of energy?"

Grinding his teeth, the Blackwater Ape raised his staff and resumed his attack.

Yun Jin even started giving commentary.

"That strike wasn't bad, you're finally using some higher-level Law there!"

"Oh, oh, that one's good too! A joint strike combining two Laws? Interesting! Really interesting!"

"Why are you all staring at me? Out of strength already?"

"Keep going! Don't stop! I'm waiting for you to break through the barrier!"

Her words alone nearly made the entire army cough up blood.

The sea beasts inside the barrier fell silent. At this rate, the enemy wouldn't die from combat—they'd die of pure frustration from Senior Yun Jin's mouth alone.

But as time went by, they finally realized something. This barrier really was indestructible. When she'd said it would stay up for three months, she hadn't been exaggerating.

"Are you all reassured now?" Yun Jin asked, glancing at them. "Good. Then stop crowding around here. Go back to your territories and cultivate."

"Yes, Senior!" the sea beasts replied loudly before dispersing, each returning to their domain.

Soon, only Yun Jin remained inside the barrier, facing down the hundred-thousand-strong army outside.

One woman against ten myriad beasts, separated only by a thin veil of light.

Many of the sea beasts outside had already revealed their true forms. Their colossal bodies surrounded her from all directions, making her look even smaller. Yet among this overwhelming display of power, she was the calm one, smiling faintly, while the hundred-thousand-strong army fumed and fidgeted in frustration.

"Did you all skip breakfast or what? Want me to send you some plain rice?"

"Hey, don't glare at me. Fine, I'll add some dishes to go with it. After all, you're all such dishes yourselves."

"What, still glaring? Alright, no side dishes then. You'll just eat plain rice, since you're all good at that anyway."

She munched on her sunflower seeds as she taunted them endlessly.

These sea beasts were used to fighting head-on, not dealing with someone like Yun Jin.

Meanwhile, she couldn't have been happier. These beasts were truly a gift. A hundred thousand cultivators!

The notifications kept chiming in her head one after another as Emotional Values poured in. As expected of the Boundless Sea. Where else could she possibly find this many cultivators in the human world?

Only here, where sea beasts were endless. Even if one in ten thousand could cultivate, that was still a terrifying number. The sheer population of the ocean wasn't something to joke about. At this point, she didn't even want to fight. She was just here to farm Emotional Value!

The Blackwater Ape's veins bulged across his face.

"Arghhhh!" he roared, slamming his staff into the barrier again. "If you've got any guts, come out here and fight me!"

Yun Jin made a face at him. "If you've got any guts, come in here and fight me!"
