Chapter 786 - When the Waves Submit to Her

Elder of the Ink Sea Dragons stared blankly at his king.

The moment his bloodline was drawn out, he could've fought back. He didn't. He just stood there, letting Lóngzūn pull the bloodline from his body and swallow it whole.

Slowly, Elder of the Ink Sea Dragons collapsed. His eyes remained open, dazed and unwilling to believe what had just happened. He couldn't understand.

The king he'd followed his entire life—why had he suddenly turned on him?

And that was only the beginning.

Lóngzūn raised his hand, and the bloodlines of all remaining Ink Sea Dragons began to boil. Every one of them looked at him with the same confused, desperate eyes.

Lóngzūn's expression was cold, without a shred of hesitation. He drew out every drop of bloodline power from his kin and swallowed it all.

In an instant, the others lost their vitality. The corpses of the Ink Sea Dragons fell one after another, covering the seabed. Among those lifeless bodies, Lóngzūn's power surged even higher. He stood in silence, staring at the fallen of his own race.

"Forgive me," he murmured.

He just wanted to live. Absorbing his kin's bloodline was the only way to boost his strength fast enough to survive. They were dead now, but he'd lie low. Someday, he'd kill Yun Jin and avenge them all.

The sea fell into a terrifying stillness.

Even Yun Jin didn't speak.

Even the sea beasts, who'd long grown used to the law of the jungle, were dazed. The ocean floor had always been a place of slaughter, but rarely did a race turn on itself.

Yet Lóngzūn had wiped out every single Ink Sea Dragon in one breath. All of them—gone from the East Sea.

Now, only Lóngzūn remained. Such cruel methods!

Every powerful race had its pride, and the Ink Sea Dragons were no exception. They'd followed Lóngzūn to the East Sea, waged wars for him, stained their claws with the blood of countless beasts.

To the rest of the East Sea, their name was enough to inspire fear. But no matter how much blood they'd shed, they'd been utterly loyal to Lóngzūn. Not one of them had ever betrayed him. Even now, when he stripped their bloodlines away, none of them resisted.

Other sea beasts could hate the Ink Sea Dragons, could kill them, and no one would have cared. But the one who struck them down... how could it be Lóngzūn? How could it possibly be him?

The sea beasts trembled at the thought, feeling a chill that seeped straight into their souls.

Lóngzūn didn't bother with their stares. His strength had grown far beyond what it was before. Without a word, he lunged at Yun Jin again.

This time, his attacks carried a flood of blood energy, making them even more vicious.

That same blood energy, like the cursed black water before, began stacking endless debuffs on Yun Jin. At first, she could still bear it, but as time went on, her body grew heavier and her spiritual power started to slow.

Seeing that, Lóngzūn was ecstatic. His attacks became faster and fiercer. If he kept this up, by the time Yun Jin noticed, it'd be too late. When that happened, even if she wanted to unleash her full power, she wouldn't be able to. Maybe he wouldn't even need the Sea Emperor's help—he could kill her here himself!

Amid the hurricane and the crashing tides, Yun Jin looked like a leaf adrift on stormy seas, swaying and barely holding on.

The water element from all directions pressed down on her, suffocating, relentless. That overwhelming rejection from the world itself actually made her smile.

For so long, the elements had always favored her too much. It'd always been a problem. After all, she was terrible with attention, even from the elements.

Now, with the water element suppressing her under Lóngzūn's command, she finally felt... peace. Surrounded by roaring waves, Yun Jin looked toward the distant horizon.

The ocean stretched endlessly, nurturing all living things.

Countless sea beasts were born from it, fought and killed within it. If this were the land, the world would've been destroyed long ago.

But in the sea, no matter how fierce the battles, the ocean always endured, always healed.

No slaughter, no chaos had ever truly harmed it.

That was the terrifying thing about water.

Some once said water benefits all things and does not compete, claiming it to be the gentlest element.

But water never needed to compete. Because everything came from it.

The waves surged toward her, crimson with blood.

Yun Jin laughed softly.

Her Primordial Water... was complete.

She lifted her gaze.

Lóngzūn's attack was monstrous, enough to make the ocean tremble like the end of days.

Yun Jin stepped forward into the raging tide. At her fingertips, a stream of water-type spiritual power gathered.

Then, it stretched into a massive water barrier. With a gentle push, she sent it forward. At first glance, her counterattack looked weak, far less grand than Lóngzūn's assault.

But the instant those terrifying waves touched the barrier, they vanished. One wave after another crashed down, yet every drop was absorbed by that tiny wall of water. Not even a ripple reached Yun Jin.

Lóngzūn's pupils shrank. He stared at her in horror.

What... what is that?

Yun Jin smiled at him, her body glowing with a serene blue light.

This was her Primordial Water.

It could be summarized in one word—Embrace.

Water accepts all. That was the True Meaning of her Primordial Force.

It completely suppressed Lóngzūn's own True Meaning. The power he'd gained by slaughtering his kin was effortlessly absorbed into her Primordial Force, leaving no trace behind.

At the moment of enlightenment, every negative state on Yun Jin's body vanished. The Law of Purification wiped it all away.

Bathed in the tranquil blue of the sea, Yun Jin's expression was calm and unshakable.

Lóngzūn trembled.

A monster.

She was a complete monster!

He'd cultivated for ten thousand years just to grasp the True Meaning of Black Water, yet his so-called pride... was pathetic compared to hers.

And she wasn't bluffing. Because right now, she'd awakened to a new Primordial Force, one that crushed his completely. He didn't even know what her True Meaning really was, but the suppression was absolute.

Yun Jin closed her eyes, fully immersing herself in her newfound Primordial Water.

Lóngzūn gritted his teeth, seizing that fleeting moment to turn and flee without a second thought.

She was too terrifying. He had to escape.

Only by reaching the Central Sea and finding the Sea Emperor could he hope to survive!

I've also got a little "toy" to share, basically a YouTube song downloader. It's a simple .bat file, so you just copy and paste the link and it'll automatically download and convert the video you want. I'll include the installation steps too, since the .bat file needs another program to run properly.

Remember to read all the instructions before running any .bat or .sh files. There are seven tabs in total. Two of them cover installation for Windows and Mac, along with how to set up the script. The first tab is the final checklist of things you need to change before using it. Tabs four and five are the Windows scripts, and tabs six and seven are the Mac scripts.

You can find it in my Google Drive or Terabox under the "My – Mine" folder, inside "Youtube Audio." Both cloud links are on my Carrd: https://rikhi.carrd.co
