Chapter 790 - Instructions from the Sea King

She'd saved enslaved sea beasts, faced an army of four hundred thousand alone, and even killed the Lóngzūn who'd mastered the Primordial Water right on the battlefield. Because of that, she became the new ruler of the East Sea!

And it had only taken her three months.

In just three short months, her master had achieved what ordinary people couldn't accomplish in thousands, even tens of thousands of years.

"The new King sure seems different from the ones before," the old sea beast lady said with a kind laugh. "Just the fact that she's willing to save the enslaved beasts proves she's nothing like that Lóngzūn."

Su Lingling lifted her chin proudly.

Of course her master wasn't someone a Lóngzūn could ever compare to.

"But the force she's built has such a strange name," the old lady continued, muttering to herself. "Wushuang Sect, East Sea Branch? What kind of name is that? I don't get it."

Su Lingling chuckled. If only she knew.

The East Sea Branch was just the start.

There was already an office in Sky City, and soon, maybe there'd be branches in the South Sea, North Sea, West Sea, and even the Central Sea.

After escorting the old lady home, she politely turned down the invitation to stay and immediately headed toward her next destination. She couldn't wait to see her master again.

This place used to be called the Sea of Domestication.

But not anymore.

Now, it was the Wushuang Sea.

The East Sea Branch of the Wushuang Sect had been founded right here. Still, the sect didn't have nearly enough disciples. To truly take control of the East Sea, they'd need the sea beasts' help.

So Yun Jin had been busy building her foundation. Once word spread that the new ruler was recruiting sea beasts, countless ones from every corner of the sea rushed over to sign up.

For now, Yun Jin had only about thirty thousand core sea beasts under her command. But those with real leadership skills were very few.

That meant Yun Jin had to handle most matters herself, which was… exhausting, to say the least. Thankfully, after she sent out the summons, the disciples of Wushuang Sect started arriving one after another.

The first to arrive was Bai Yiran.

The moment Yun Jin saw her, her eyes brightened. She immediately handed over all the pending work.

Before Bai Yiran could even react, she'd been drafted into duty. Fortunately, more disciples kept arriving, and before long, the construction of the East Sea Branch finally started to take shape.

Half a month later, everything was running smoothly.

For these water-affinity disciples, cultivating in the Boundless Sea turned out to be just as effective as staying in the disciple quarters. In fact, they could even access brand-new manuals, and their water-element progress advanced at lightning speed.

Seeing that everything was stable, Yun Jin decided it was time to leave the Boundless Sea. Before her departure, she called Bai Yiran and Su Lingling to her side.

Bai Yiran's strength needed no explanation.

As for Su Lingling, being Heaven's chosen daughter, she was completely in her element within the ocean.

After just a few years, she'd already formed her Golden Core, an incredible rate by any standard.

"Master, I found another pearl when I was out earlier!" Before Yun Jin could speak, Su Lingling eagerly held out a round pearl.

Yun Jin was long used to her disciple finding random treasures wherever she went. She took the pearl and had her system scan it.

"A Water-Avoiding Pearl. With this, even a mortal can move freely underwater."

Yun Jin raised a brow. That was a pretty useful item.

Su Lingling herself didn't need it, but with something like this, even people like Qin Ping who lacked water spiritual roots could explore the sea.

"Not bad," Yun Jin said with a smile, handing the pearl back to her. "This lets people move underwater freely. If any Wushuang Sect disciple without water affinity wants to take on missions in the Boundless Sea, you can trade this pearl for something valuable."

"You think I can get something good for it?" Su Lingling's eyes lit up. "I'm gonna be rich, Master! Rich!"

Yun Jin couldn't help but laugh. "It's just one pearl. You're still a long way from rich."

But Su Lingling got even more excited. "Master, I only took the prettiest one! There are tons more of them in that place—it must be a whole mine!"

"...What?"

A Water-Avoiding Pearl mine?

Those weren't exactly common items. How could there be that many in one place?

She'd been here all this time and hadn't even noticed! Had the pearls been hiding from her or something?

Looking at her ecstatic disciple, Yun Jin didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Was this the kind of Luck the Daughter of Heaven enjoyed?

"Master, I'll show you the place! We can dig up all the pearls together!" Su Lingling said excitedly.

"Wait," Yun Jin stopped her. "I've got some things to explain first."

"Yes, Master." Su Lingling finally sat down obediently.

Yun Jin turned to Bai Yiran first. "Yiran, your Primordial Ice, still no breakthrough?"

Bai Yiran looked a little embarrassed.

Primordial Ice was a branch of the Primordial Water.

The Primordial Water was a fourth-tier Primordial Force, while Primordial Ice was a fifth-tier sub-Force derived from it.

Her comprehension had reached a bottleneck years ago but hadn't moved since.

"Come here," Yun Jin said, lifting a hand to gently tap Bai Yiran's brow.

After the upgrade to the Sect Master's Residence, she could now use her Enlightenment ability from anywhere. The effect depended partly on Yun Jin's own insight.

Now that she'd comprehended the Primordial Water, assisting with a fifth-tier derivative like Extreme Ice was practically effortless. This time, she was confident she could help Bai Yiran break through.

Bai Yiran's eyes flickered with resolve as she sat cross-legged and began cultivating immediately.

Yun Jin then turned to Su Lingling, who looked full of anticipation.

Smiling, Yun Jin handed her a jade slip.

"I collected a lot of manuals here in the Boundless Sea," she said softly. "After studying them, I developed a brand-new water-element manual. If you cultivate it to completion, it leads straight to the Primordial Water."

Su Lingling's eyes sparkled brighter than before.

"Go on, cultivate," Yun Jin said, tapping her once as well. Su Lingling sat down at once and entered meditation.

Yun Jin smiled faintly. This manual was incredibly powerful—probably the strongest water-element manual ever written.

But there was a catch. No one else in the Wushuang Sect could possibly learn it. It was simply too difficult.

Only someone like Su Lingling, Heaven's chosen daughter, had a chance of success.

Yun Jin silently protected the two as they cultivated. She had only half a month left before she had to leave, but that should be enough time.

Ten days later, a strange aura flared around Bai Yiran. An intense chill spread from her body, and the freezing power felt like it could turn everything around her to ice.

Yun Jin waved a hand, forming a small barrier to shield Su Lingling.

The next moment, a wave of deep-blue frost burst from Bai Yiran, transforming the entire room into a world of snow and ice.

In the drifting snowflakes, Bai Yiran stood up, eyes wide with astonishment and joy.
