(Confused, Mew asks.)
Mew: "What are you talking about?"
Jessie: "She just doesn't get it, does she."
(Jessie remarks.)
Mew: "How can I? You don't make any sense."
(Mew replies.)
James: "We're here for the Pokemon."
(James says.)
Mew: "You're not getting any of my Pokemon."
(Mew angrily says.)
Jessie: "Well, we're not interested in your Pokemon."
(Jessie says.)
James: "We seek only rare and valuable Pokemon."
(James says.)
(Joy angrily says.)
Nurse Joy: "You're wasting your time. This is a Center for weak and injured Pokemon."
Jessie: "Well, that may be so but I wouldn't be at all surprised if we find a few more little Pokemon Gems among all the junk."
(Jessie says.)
Mew: "You're starting to bug me,"
(Mew angrily says.)
Jessie: "Isn't that cute."
(Jessie remarks.)
James: "The girl's bugged."
(James says.)
(Then Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Meowth, then lets squashed her."
(James then calls out.)
James: "Koffing, Attack!"
Jessie: "Ekans, Go!"
(Jessie adds.)
(Koffing and Ekans begin to charge at them.)
(Misty and Nurse Joy hurry's Mew pushes the Pokemon on the stretcher.)
(Ekans and Koffing succeeded in destroying the computers.)
(The girls rush Pokemon hurry into one of the rooms.)
(Luckily, the Pokemon attacking don't notice them running in there.)
(Suddenly, the lights go off from the room.)
Misty: "Hey, the lights!"
(Misty replies.)
Nurse Joy: "They must have cut the power but we've got our own Pika power source."
(Nurse Joy says.)
[Suddenly...]
(the light goes on.)
(That's because the backup power source is a group of Pikachu running around in circles emitting electricity to the generator.)
Misty: "Wow! Look at all the Pikachu!
(Misty says, an awed by the many Pikachu.)
(Suddenly, the computer turns on and announces.)
Computer: "Crisis situation has risen. Initiating Emergency Pokeball transport sequence."
Nurse Joy: "We have to save Pokeball."
(Nurse Joy says.)
(Just then, robotic claws begin to pick up the Pokeballs and put them in a machine.)
(They soon ride on a conveyor belt.)
(Nurse Joy types on the computer as she says.)
Nurse Joy: "This is the Viridian City Pokemon Center. We have an emergency situation. Transporting Pokeball."
(The voice on the screen says.)
Nutter: "This is the Pewter City Pokemon Center. Nutter activated ready to receive Pokeballs."
[Soon...]
(the Pokeballs are being teleported one at a time.)
(Suddenly, smoke appears seeping through the door.)
(Koffing bursts open the doors and knock the Pokeballs to the ground.)
Nurse Joy: "Grab those Pokeballs."
(Joy calls out.)
Mew: "Right,"
(Mew says, and picks up the Pokeballs.)
(She and Mew pick up the Pokeballs on the ground.)
Misty: "This is war. Don't just hold them, throw them."
(Misty says.)
(Mew then brings out one of her own.)
Mew: "I know, just what to do."
(Then throws her Pokeball.)
Mew: "Pidgey go!"
(Then Pidgey comes out of the Pokeball.)
Jessie: "That thing can't beat us,"
(Jessie mocks.)
Mew: "You don't know this Pidgey,"
(Mew says.)
(Then turns to Pidgey.)
Mew: "You know what to do, use Peck!"
(Pidgey then flies up and then gives Ekans a hard peck.)
Misty: "That's one strong Pidgey."
(Misty says, impressed.)
(Misty then brings out of her Pokeball.)
Misty: "I'll give you a hand. You grab your Pokemon and get out of here. I'll take care of these three clowns."
Jessie: "That's pretty big talk coming from such a little lady."
(Jessie says, mocking the girl.)
Misty: "At least you're right about the pretty. Thanks for the compliment."
(Misty says.)
Jessie: "The girl thinks she's pretty."
(Jessie comments.)
(Then James says.)
James: "I agree with her. I think she's pretty, too. Pretty Pathetic."
Misty: "I'll show you. Pokeball, go!"
(Misty says, and throws her Pokeball.)
(The Pokeball bounces off the ground and releases the Pokemon.)
(The Pokemon is a Goldeen.)
(A white, fish like Pokémon with orange markings.)
(It has circular blue eyes with orange lids and prominent pink lips.)
(On its forehead is a large horn.)
(It has a small, wavy dorsal fin surrounded by an orange patch and long pectoral fins with orange markings at the bases, a billowing tail fin is orange around the base and turns white toward the edges.)
(Goldeen bounces up and down on the floor, making Team Rocket dumbfounded.)
(Misty then calls back the Pokemon.)
Misty: "Goldeen, return."
(Then the Pokemon returns.)
Jessie: "That her best shot?"
(Jessie says.)
(And James says.)
James: "She's all washed up."
Misty: "You know as well as I do that water Pokemon can't battle on land. I was just warming up."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Warming up?"
(Mew says, confused.)
(Misty then turns to Mew.)
Misty: "Get your Pokemon out while you have the chance."
Mew: "Right. Come on, Pidgey."
(Mew says.)
(Pidgey then lands on Mew's shoulder, and then pulls the stretcher with the other Pokemon on it.)
(Mew continues to run down the hall, but Koffing and Ekans are chasing after her.)
(Suddenly, Mew ends up bumping the stretcher onto the tire of Misty's burnt bike.)
(And Pikachu wakes up.)
Pikachu: "Pika, Pika?" (Where am I?)
(Eevee and Poliwag wake up as well.)
(Suddenly, all the Pikachu from the center jump from the upper floor and gather around Mew's Pikachu.)
(Mew quickly grabs Eevee and Poliwag as they come down.)
(Once all the Pikachu are gathered around Mew's they let out a Thunderbolt.)
(With that, the thunderbolt ends up shocking Team Rocket as well.)
(Once the electric shock is Mew's Pikachu climbs on top of the pile.)
Pikachu: "Pikachu!" (I'm recharged!)
Mew: "Pikachu!"
(Mew happily says.)
[Suddenly...]
(Meowth arrives.)
Meowth: "Do I have to do everything? That mouse is cat food, Meowth. Just wait Pikachu, you're mine!"
(Mew grits her teeth, and Eevee, Poliwag, and Pidgey are planning to fight as well.)
(Pikachu then turns to Mew and says.)
Pikachu: "Pika, Pika, Pika, Pika!" (I want more power, give me more power, Pika Pika Power, give it to me!)
Mew: "More power?"
(Mew asks.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (Yes!)
(Pikachu says.)
Mew: "Pika Pika Power?"
(Mew replies.)
(And soon understands.)
Mew: "So you want... You want more power!"
(Confused, Meowth says.)
Meowth: "What this?"
(Mew then uses Misty's busted bike to help give Pikachu more power as the light on it turns on.)
Mew: "Let's just say that Pikachu and I are gonna generate a little excitement for you, Meowth."
(Soon, Team Rocket realizes that there is trouble.)
Jessie: "Uh?"
(Jessie says, weary.)
James: "Uh oh,"
(James replies.)
Meowth: "Meowth?"
(Meowth says, fearing what is happening next.)
(Pikachu then connects the cord to the bike's light.)
(Pikachu then says.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika Pika Pika!" (I have the power!)
(Then shouts.)
Pikachu: "PIKACHU!" (The Pika Power!)
(Soon, Team Rocket and the Pokemon are being badly electrocuted.)
(They all scream in agony as they are being electrocuted.)
(Soon, Koffing sprays gas, and the thunder travels through them.)
(Soon, the Pokemon Center exploded, sending a blast up in the sky.)
(Officer Jenny rides on her motorcycle, riding on the scene with her Growlithe.)
(She stops the bike and says.)
Officer Jenny: "Too late. But not for the fireworks."
(She watches as the Pokemon Center has been blowing up sky high.)
[Sometime later...]
(Team Rocket are able to ride on the balloon from the rope they climb on.)
(Frustrated by the loss.)
(Jessie angrily says.)
Jessie: "Great! A cat losing to a mouse!"
Meowth: "That Pikachu is not ordinary Pikachu."
(Meowth says.)
James: "It's certainly very rare, a perfect prize."
(James adds.)
(Jessie then announces.)
Jessie: "Let's catch it."
Meowth: "Perhaps we will."
(Meowth replies.)
(Suddenly, the balloon pops a hole, letting out the air and sends them flying around in the air with a scream.)
[The next day...]
(with the Pokemon Center destroyed, but everything ends up turning out fine.)
(On the screen, Nurse Joy is talking to the other Nurse Joy.)
(Then Nurse Joy on the screen says.)
Nurse Joy: "Your Viridian City Pokemon were transported here safely."
Nurse Joy: "Thanks, sis. Mew, Misty, Pikachu, and Eevee are heading your way to Pewter City."
(Nurse Joy from Viridian City says.)
(Then shows concern.)
Nurse Joy: "If they can get safely through the Viridian Forest."
Officer Jenny: "Don't worry from what I see and those four can take pretty good care of themselves well."
(Jenny says.)
Officer Jenny: "Well, I hope you're right,"
(Jenny says.)
(In the Viridian Forest, Mew along with Pikachu, Eevee, and Misty are walking through the forest.)
Misty: "Talk about a crazy night, huh guys."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Yeah. We had a rough night, but we stopped this Team Rocket and saved all the Pokemon."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "And kind of blew up the Pokemon Center too."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Yeah, that too, but the most important thing is that all the Pokemon is saved, and we end up with new friends, Poliwag and Goldeen."
(Mew says.)
(Poliwag who is walking with Pikachu and Eevee happily says.)
Poliwag: "Poliwag." (That's right.)
(Suddenly, Misty remembers.)
Misty: "Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, can you really understand Pokemon?"
Mew: "Yeah. I actually can."
(Mew answers.)
Misty: "How can you..."
(Misty about to ask.)
(But Mew answers.)
Mew "I'm not really sure. I've actually been able to understand them my whole life. Plus, I've been raised by Pokemon, so that could be one of the reasons."
Misty: "Wow! You've been raised by Pokemon and can understand them. That's amazing."
(Misty says, amazed.)
Mew: "Thanks. Still, I like to be a great trainer, I'm not entirely sure how, but I'll do what I can to be a great Pokemon trainer."
(Mew happily says.)
Misty: "I suppose so."
(Misty says.)
(Suddenly, a flying bug Pokemon flies past them.)
(Misty then screams and hides behind Mew.)
Misty: "Let's get out of this creepy forest!"
Mew: "Don't worry Misty, we'll get out soon enough, but there's also more friends for us to make while we're here. Let's go."
(Mew says.)
(Then she runs off along with Pikachu, Eevee, and Poliwag.)
Misty: "Hey! Wait for me!"
(Misty says, following after them.)
(Mew, Misty and the Pokemon continue to run down the path of the Viridian Forest.)
(Unaware that it's bigger and darker than they believe.)
(And another new challenge is waiting for them up ahead.)
