(One bright morning in Pallet Town.)
(Mew, Brock and Tomo are doing some exercises.)
(getting ready for the Pokemon League at Professor Oak's lab.)
(Pikachu, Eevee, Skwovet, and Meloetta are exercising too.)
Brock: "I'm really breaking a sweat today! It feels great to workout!"
(Brock says.)
Mew: "You know me, nothing I love more than getting a nice, hard workout!"
(Mew says.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (Oh, yeah!)
(Pikachu agrees.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (You said it!)
(Eevee replies.)
(In the living room close by.)
(Misty is sitting on the couch having some tea while Togepi and Pichu watch.)
Misty: "Those guys are sure working hard, especially Mew. And she's also working hard with the remote to watch Pokemon Matches, Pokemon Documentary, and Healthy Pokemon advice."
(Misty says.)
Togepi: "Togi Togi!" (Working hard!)
(Togepi happily says.)
Pichu: "Pichu," (Really hard.)
(Pichu replies.)
(Soon, Mew and her friends have finished exercising and walked inside.)
Mew: "We're all done with exercising, and we sure got a workout."
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "What should we do now?"
(Tomo asks.)
Mew: "Hmm, I'm not sure,"
(Mew says.)
(Suddenly, they hear a strange sound.)
Misty: "What's that?"
(Misty wonders.)
Brock: "Let's go see,"
(Brock says.)
(The group hurry outside and down to the corral to hear what the noise is.)
(Suddenly, a large net has been dropped over them and has them trapped.)
(The group panic as the net lifts them up in the air.)
Misty: "What's going on?!"
(Misty exclaims.)
Mew: "There's only one group of bad guys I could think of."
(Mew says.)
(And right on cue, the Team Rocket motto appears.)
Jessie: Prepare for trouble!
James: Make it double!
(The group looks up to see the Team Rocket balloon the net is hanging from.)
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
James: To unite all peoples within our nation!
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James: To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie: Jessie!
James: James!
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight!
Meowth: Meowth! That's flight!
Everyone: "Team Rocket!"
(The group exclaims.)
Mew: "Let us out of here!"
(Mew shouts.)
Jessie: "Sorry twerps, but we need to get you out of the way while we talk all your Pokemon."
(Jessie says.)
James: "And that includes Pikachu and Eevee!"
(James says.)
Meowth: "Now hand them over and make it snappy!"
(Meowth says.)
Mew: "No way!"
(Mew denies.)
Meowth: "Well then you'll just have to stay for the ride while we use our new Rocket boosters!"
(Meowth says, and presses the button on a remote.)
(The side of the balloon soon reveals two rocket boosters.)
Jessie: "Make sure you stay in the net!"
(Jessie says.)
James: "And hold on cause we're in for a ride!"
(James says.)
(Mewoth then presses the button and the Rocket Boosters shift into high gear to speed the balloon at top speed.)
(Perhaps a little too fast.)
(The blast is taking them far from Pallet Town, and to who knows where.)
(The rocket booster continues to fly fast and is heading to wherever the rockets take them.)
(Jessie screams.)
Jessie: "This rocket is going too fast!"
James: "Talk about having a lot of horsepower!"
(James panics.)
Meowth: "I'll see if I can stop it!"
(Meowth screams and presses the button.)
(With that, the rocket comes to a stop.)
(but then it turns around to begin to reverse at top speed.)
(That causes the net with Mew and her friends over and lands in the basket, and crushes Team Rocket.)
Mew: "This rocket is going too fast!"
(Mew panics.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (You said it!)
(Pikachu panics.)
(Eevee screams.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (This is too much.)
(Luckily, Mew and the others are able to get out of the net.)
(but they still feel the balloon is going too fast on the rockets.)
(Jessie screams.)
Jessie: "Excuse us, but you're crushing us!"
Misty: "It can't get worse than this!"
(Misty panics.)
(Just then, Togepi finds the button and presses it.)
(With that, the rocket changes directions again and speeds around and goes all over the place.)
(Just then, Pichu and Togepi begin to play with the button.)
(making the rocket change directions and making it go crazy.)
(Soon, they end up in what looks like a rundown old town.)
(James takes the remote.)
James: "Stop it, you're making me airsick!"
(Just then, the balloon ends up bumping into a sharp edge of one of the buildings, popping the balloon.)
(With that, the balloon is sent flying and going all over the place.)
(Suddenly, two of the passengers in the balloon have fallen off the balloon and towards the grounds of the city.)
(At the same time, the balloon flies like crazy and dives down just outside of the city with a loud crash.)
(In the forest outside of the town.)
(Misty, Tomo, Brock, and the Pokemon have landed on the bushes.)
(As for Jessie and James, they are stuck in the tree in their hot air balloon.)
Tomo: "Wow! That was crazy!"
(Tomo says.)
Misty: "Talk about one insane ride!"
(Misty says.)
(The Pokemon regain themselves and shake their heads to shake off the dizziness.)
(Jessie looks out of the basket.)
Jessie: "Finally, we stop spinning."
James: "I think I'm about to lose my lunch,"
(James says.)
(Brock looks around and notices someone's missing.)
Brock: "Where's Mew?"
Misty: "Mew's gone?!"
(Misty asks, looking around.)
(Soon, Jessie and James notice someone is missing.)
Jessie and James: "Meowth's missing too!"
(Meanwhile, somewhere in the rundown city, there is a large amount of old clothes, blankets, mattresses, and such.)
(Coming out of the pile is Mew.)
Mew: "Ow. I think my head is still spinning."
(Mew says.)
(Just then, Meowth comes out.)
Meowth: "Can someone stop the roller coaster? I really want to get off."
(Feeling dizzy.)
(Mew and Meowth turn their heads and exclaim in shock.)
Mew and Meowth: "Meowth/Little Twerpette!"
Mew: "What are you doing here?"
(Mew asks.)
Meowth: "The same way you did. I think we both fell off the balloon and landed here."
(Meowth says.)
(Mew looks around.)
Mew: "You're right."
(Then takes out her Pokenav.)
(She looks at the screen to see that it.)
(has a signal and is able to pinpoint their location.)
Mew: "There we go. This is supposed to be a town called Hollywood."
(Mew says.)
(Hearing the name of the town made Meowth shocked.)
Meowth: "Hollywood?! I… I haven't been here in years."
(Mew looks to notice Meowth is beyond shock.)
(After getting out of the pile and beginning to walk around.)
(Mew and Meowth look at each other with skeptical looks.)
(not sure what to say.)
(Mew then looks around to see the city is old and rundown.)
(there are plenty of places boarded up and shatter windows.)
(Mew turns to Meowth and says.)
Mew: "So, you've been here before…"
Meowth: "Yeah. It's a long time ago. Of course, there's more to it than just living here."
(Meowth says.)
Mew: "Hey Meowth, there's something I always want to ask you."
(Mew says.)
Meowth: "What's that?"
(Meowth asks.)
Mew: "How did you learn how to talk… like a person. I've always been curious."
(Mew says.)
(Meowth turns to Mew.)
Meowth: "Really, cause I've always been curious about you. How can a human like you be raised by Pokemon and understand them?"
Mew: "Oh, it's a bit of a long story."
(Mew says.)
