(Suddenly, they feel the ground shaking.)
Misty: "What's that sound?!"
(Misty asks.)
(Tomo soon notices something head.)
Tomo: "Something's coming!"
(Everyone looks to see an Onix coming in their direction.)
(And it looks like it's two or three times as large as a normal sized one.)
Misty: "Well, there's the giant Onix!"
(Misty says, shocked.)
Pikachu: "Pika!" (It's huge!)
(Pikachu says, shocked.)
Brock: "It's coming this way!"
(Brock panics.)
Mew: "Don't worry, as long as we stay away from the path, we won't be in any danger."
(Mew says.)
(Mew and the others quickly step back.)
(and watch the giant Onix slither right past them and down the path.)
(Everyone sighs in relief.)
Tomo: "Wow! That Onix was huge!"
(Tomo says.)
Meloetta: "Loetta," (Really huge.)
(Meloetta says.)
Skwovet: "Skwovet Skwovet," (Really really huge.)
(Skwovet says.)
(Mew says.)
Mew: "Yeah. I know that Onix. He's the boss around here. And the biggest one here."
Brock: "It's amazing. I'd love to study what makes the Onix grow so big up here."
(Brock says.)
(Misty then turns to Mew.)
Misty: "I'm just glad you're here who knows the mountain areas. Otherwise, we would have been squished."
(Mew looks to where the Onix disappeared to.)
Mew: "But still, there's something not right."
Misty: "What do you mean?"
(Misty asks.)
Mew: "I'm not sure. The giant Onix roars out like something's wrong."
(Mew says.)
Brock: "You think something might have happened?"
(Brock asks.)
Mew: "Maybe. I say we follow it and find out what."
(Mew says.)
(With that, the group follows the Onix trail down.)
(to the direction it's heading.)
(They walk down the trail for the longest time, and are starting to feel tired.)
Misty: "How much farther do we have to walk?"
(Misty asks.)
Mew: "I'm sure it's not farther,"
(Mew says.)
Brock: "I hope so,"
(Brock says.)
(Mew brings out her Pokenav.)
Mew: "According to this, if we keep traveling this way, we'll be able to find a path that could get us back to Pallet Town."
Brock: "Sounds good to me,"
(Brock says.)
(Suddenly, someone says.)
???: "Well, I didn't expect to find visitors on the mountain."
(Mew and her friends turn their heads to see a tall and muscular man.)
(He has long black hair, tied in a thick ponytail.)
(which dangles down his back to his shoulder blades and longish thick sideburns.)
(He has small dark eyes with prominent eyebrows, a small nose and a square jaw.)
(He wears white trousers with a tattered waist and ankles.)
(that are held up by a black belt, shirtless and black wristbands on his wrists.)
(Seeing the person makes Brock shocked.)
Brock: "I don't believe it."
Tomo: "What is it, Brock?"
(Tomo asks.)
Brock: "Guys, this is Bruno. One of Kanto Region's Elite Four, specializes in Fighting Type Pokemon."
(Brock says.)
(That makes the group surprised.)
(They are meeting with another Elite Four.)
(First Lorelei at Seafoam Island.)
(and now they're meeting Bruno in the mountains.)
(Sometime later, Mew and her friends follow Bruno up the mountains.)
Mew: "So, you're actually here to do some training?"
(Mew asks.)
Bruno: "Yes,"
(Bruno says.)
Mew: "Wow. First we met Lorelei and now we're meeting Bruno. I'm seeing so many people I haven't met recently."
(Mew says.)
Bruno: "I see. So you met Lorelei. I remember her telling me how she met a group of trainers and with their help saved a village that was buried in snow."
(Bruno says.)
Misty: "That's us,"
(Misty says.)
Mew: "And it's a pleasure to meet you, Bruno. You look very strong."
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "And I'll bet your Fighting Type Pokemon are strong too."
(Tomo says.)
Bruno: "Thank you. So what brings you to the mountain?"
(Bruno replies.)
(Mew and her friend feel a bit skeptical about the question.)
Mew: "It's a bit of a funny story, but there was a little incident and we were launched all the way to another city so we're trying to get back to Pallet Town."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Yeah We flew pretty far."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "And we've been trying to get back."
(Brock says.)
(Then turns to Mew.)
Brock: "But on the plus side, our friend Mew was able to squeeze in some training."
Mew: "Yeah. I'm training to compete in the Pokemon League Competition. And my friends and I have been training and doing some traveling."
(Mew says.)
(Then blushes.)
Mew: "Of course, my training has also been going off the rails from time to time."
Misty: "Thanks to Team Rocket."
(Misty mutters to herself.)
Tomo: "And we managed to head here and we heard about the Giant Onix in the area."
(Tomo says.)
Mew: "We actually found one, but… but I can't stop thinking that something's wrong."
(Mew says.)
(Misty then says.)
Misty: "We've been following the trail until we met up with you."
Bruno: "I see,"
(Bruno says.)
(Then turns to Mew.)
Bruno: "Well, I can tell that you seem to be a strong trainer and you raise your Pokemon with care."
Mew: "Thank you. I really love my Pokemon and I do my best to help them have happy lives."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "And Mew also trains herself and her Pokemon hard and wants to do great for the Pokemon League."
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "We've been doing some training too."
(Tomo happily says.)
(Suddenly, Tomo feels his stomach growling.)
(Mew and the others, excluding Bruno, simply laugh with grins on their faces.)
Tomo: "Sorry I'm a little hungry,"
(Tomo says.)
Mew: "I guess it is time to start making dinner."
(Mew says.)
(The group agreed to the idea.)
(Mew and Brock along with Pikachu and Eevee go to the river and grab some buckets of water.)
(Tomo along with Bruno carry the rocks over to a cave on the mountain.)
(Then Mew chops some wood.)
(Bruno also gets the fire started at the fireplace they made.)
(Brock and Mew then cook some dinner.)
(After dinner is ready, the group eats the soup and Brock's soup is good.)
(The Pokemon are also having Pokemon Food with berries.)
Tomo: "It tastes great, Brock,"
(Tomo happily says.)
Brock: "I'm glad you like it,"
(Brock says.)
(Bruno turns to Mew and asks.)
Bruno: "So Mew, was it. What do you mean that you sense something wrong with the Giant Onix?"
Mew: "It's a bit hard to say. When it slither down the trail, it doesn't seem to be happy, almost like it was in some kind of pain."
(Mew says.)
Bruno: "In pain?"
(Bruno questions.)
Mew: "Yes. I want to help it, but we don't know where it is."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "And we still have no clue where it is."
(Misty says.)
(Bruno then asks.)
Bruno: "And how do you know?"
Mew: "Well um, it's a bit hard to explain, but I'm kind of well, different from most trainers. Tomo is the same."
(Mew says.)
Brock: "Sure you both are different, but you both are able to make use of your differences and that makes you who you are."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "I know,"
(Mew says.)
(Misty then says.)
Misty: "You see Bruno, both Mew and Tomo have been raised by Pokemon and are able to understand what they're saying. Mew lived in the forest of Pallet Town with Zeraora as it's guardian while Tomo used to live in the Nature Preserve of the Safari Zone with a herd of Kangaskhan."
Bruno: "Understand Pokemon… that's quite a unique gift you both have."
(Bruno says.)
(Then says.)
Bruno: "Either way, I can trust your instincts. Something might have happened with the giant Onix, and it will be best for us to find it and figure out what's wrong."
Brock: "I agree. And maybe we can learn more about it."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "If it would let us."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Don't worry, the Giant Onix are really sweethearts. They wouldn't hurt anyone unless someone tries to attack them."
(Mew says.)
(Unknown to Mew and her friends.)
(Team Rocket has been spying on them.)
(and have heard everything, especially about the Giant Onix.)
Meowth: "Did you just hear what I just heard?"
(Meowth asks.)
Jessie: "All we have to do is capture the biggest giant Onix we can find and we'll be as strong as the Elite Four trainers!"
(Jessie says, eagerly.)
James: "And we won't have to do any Pokémon training!"
(James adds.)
(Then all three laugh with glee, and have plans.)
