(On a cloudy day.)
(Mew and her friends continue their journey.)
(as Mew and her Pokemon train for the Pokemon League.)
(But today, Mew and her friends are heading towards Lavender Town.)
(Mew is holding a bouquet of flowers.)
(Pikachu and Eevee are walking with little Axew and Haunter who is floating with them.)
(Misty looks around to see the thick fog around the woods and is looking nervous.)
(Misty nervously says.)
Misty: "You know, these woods are more creepy than the last time we came here."
Mew: "I know what you mean. The fog seems thicker than usual. I can hardly see anything in front of my face."
(Mew says.)
(Tomo asks.)
Tomo: "So Mew, why did we decide to come here?"
Mew: "We're going to visit Pokemon Tower to pay respect to Haxorus, Axew's mom. Then visit Haunter's friends."
(Mew says.)
Tomo: "Oh,"
(Tomo replies.)
(Then sadly says.)
Tomo: "I remember you telling me about the incident and what Axew have gone through."
Mew: "Yeah,"
(Mew says.)
(Then Haunter picks up Axew and the two smile at each other.)
Mew: "I thought it would be nice for Axew to see his mom once in a while and Haunter to see his friends."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "And I'm sure Axew and Haunter are happy to see them again."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "I think we're almost there. And we should be able to see it when we reach the edge of the woods."
(Brock says.)
(Mew and her friends continue to walk through the woods and soon reach the cliff.)
(To the group's shock, they see that Lavender Town looks spookier than the last time they're here.)
(The fog is practically covering the city, and the tower seems more frightening.)
Brock: "What happened here?"
(Brock asks.)
Misty: "It looks more scary than usual,"
(Misty says, frightened.)
Mew: "I don't know. Something's up."
(Mew says.)
(Not wasting much time.)
(Mew and her friends are able to get to the Pokemon Center.)
(even if it's foggy and spooky, they are able to find it thanks to the Pokenav.)
(When they arrive, they decide to have some lunch as they try to figure out what is going on.)
(Misty looks out the window.)
Misty: "This place is even creepier than usual. Maybe we picked a bad time to come here."
Mew: "It may be creepy, but I did promise Axew to visit his mom and Haunter to visit his friends,"
(Mew says.)
(Misty sighs.)
Misty: "I guess you're right."
Tomo: "So this place hasn't always been spooky?"
(Tomo asks.)
Mew: "Well, no. The place is usually foggy, but not this much."
(Mew says.)
Brock: "She's right. And there aren't that many people around either."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "This is getting weird,"
(Misty replies.)
(Suddenly, they hear someone asks.)
A man: "So the ghost of Lucario reappeared again?"
A woman: "Yes, and it's still haunting the town, fighting everyone, especially the Pokemon Tower."
(Another voice says.)
(The group turns their heads to notice two men and two women are having a discussion.)
(A man says.)
A man: "Yes. And a lot of people are too scared to approach the tower. The ghost is frightening anyone who comes too close to it."
A woman: "I wonder why the ghost is here? It seems the situation is almost like the last time."
(A woman says.)
The man: "I don't know. I hope it will be over soon."
(The man says.)
(The group who is hearing the conversation.)
(is confused to hear another ghost situation has appeared.)
(Misty turns her head and says, confused.)
Misty: "Another ghost?"
Brock: "It seems so. And they said it's Lucario. They're rather around Kanto,"
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Lucario. I remember reading about that Pokemon."
(Mew says, bringing out her Pokedex.)
(Mew looks up on her Pokedex, and sees a picture of the Pokemon.)
(The Pokémon, Lucario is a bipedal, canine-like Pokémon with predominantly blue and black fur.)
(It possesses a short, round spike on the back of each forepaw, in addition to a third on its chest.)
(It has red eyes, a long snout, and ears.)
(When its mouth is open, two pairs of pointed teeth, one in the upper jaw and one in the lower, can be seen.)
(It possesses cream-colored fur on its torso and blue fur on its thighs that resemble shorts.)
(It has a medium-length tail of the same blue color as well.)
(It stands on its toes rather than on its entire foot.)
(It has developed four black appendages that hang down from its head.)
(Then Dexter says.)
Dexter: "Lucario, the Aura Pokemon. A Fighting and Steel Type. Lucario uses a power called aura, which allows it to sense human feelings."
Mew: "It can sense aura, huh."
(Mew says, curious.)
Tomo: "Sounds kind of cool,"
(Tomo says.)
Brock: "Still, I'm curious about this spirit they're mentioning. Remember the incident with Haxorus and Team Rocket when we last came here."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Trust me, I think we all remember."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "I wonder if Reina and Mr. Kyle can tell us something about the spirit of Lucario."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Well, the best we can do is go to the Pokemon House and see if they know anything."
(Mew says.)
(Soon enough, Mew and her friends are now out in the foggy town to make their way to the Pokemon House.)
(which is also Mr. Kyle's home, to see if he and Reina know anything about Lucario's ghost.)
Brock: "I hope Mr. Kyle and Reina can tell us something about Lucario, or what's been happening around here."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Yeah. Maybe the Pokemon is having trouble finding peace, like what happened with Haxorus."
(Mew says.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pika," (I agree.)
(Pikachu says.)
(Then Eevee wonders.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee?" (I have to wonder why?)
(Just then, Axew notices something or someone up ahead and points towards it.)
Axew: "Ax Ew Ew?" (Hey, who's that?)
Mew: "Who?"
(Mew questions.)
(The group looks ahead to notice someone is standing before them.)
Tomo: "What's that?"
(Tomo asks.)
Brock: "It looks like a Pokemon,"
(Brock says.)
(The Pokemon they're seeing a short distance away is small, even smaller than Tomo.)
(It's a small, bright yellow, canine Pokémon.)
(It has a gray torso and legs, a bright yellow tail, and a light blue collar.)
(It has rounded bumps on the backs of its forepaws.)
(It has a gray mask and orange eyes.)
(It stands on its toes instead of its entire foot.)
(It has developed two black appendages that hang down from its head.)
Misty: "I never seen that one before,"
(Misty says.)
Tomo: "What kind of Pokemon is it?"
(Tomo asks.)
(Mew brings out her Pokedex and says.)
Mew: "Let's find out."
(With that, Dexter says.)
Dexter: "Riolu, the Emanation Pokemon, and the pre-evolved form of Lucario. A Fighting Type. It can use waves called auras to gauge how others are feeling. These same waves can also tell this Pokémon about the state of the environment."
Brock: "So it's a Riolu. It's also rare to see a Riolu, especially her in Lavender Town,"
(Brock says.)
(Tomo looks at the Pokedex and notices the picture of the Riolu is different from what they're saying.)
(The Riolu on the Pokedex, is blue with black, a yellow collar, and red eyes.)
Tomo: "And the Riolu is a different color,"
(Tomo notices.)
Mew: "So it means that this Riolu is a Shiny Pokemon,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "I wonder if that's why Lucario's ghost is haunting the city."
(Misty suspects.)
Mew: "Maybe we can go ask it and find out."
(Mew says.)
(Just then, the small Riolu notices the group and grows a bit weary.)
(So it runs away.)
Mew: "Wiat Riolu, we need to talk to you."
(Mew calls out.)
(With that, Mew, Pikachu, Eevee, Axew, and Haunter hurry off to catch up with Riolu.)
Brock: "Mew, wait up!"
(Brock calls out.)
(With that, Brock, Misty, Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet quickly hollow after them.)
(The group continues to follow Riolu into an alley.)
