(Continuing on their journey.)
(Mew and her friends are still on the path of the Pokemon League Competition at the Indigo Plateau.)
(Mew is still excited and nervous about competing in the league and having to face so many different trainers.)
(Luckily, her friends' support has made her feel better.)
(Just then, Mew and her friends are now standing in front of the entrance to a large tunnel.)
(Misty reads the sign and says.)
Misty: "Victory Road. This must be the right place"
Mew: "According to the Pokenav, we're actually almost there. We just need to get through this tunnel,"
(Mew says, looking at the Pokenav.)
Tomo: "Cool, we get to go through a cool tunnel,"
(Tomo happily says.)
Brock: "We're almost to the Indigo Plateau and to the Pokemon League,"
(Brock says.)
Mew: "We will have to be careful. There could be a lot of tunnels for us to go through."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Well then, let's go,"
(Misty says.)
(With that, Mew and her friends walk into the tunnel of Victory Road and continue their journey to the Pokemon League.)
(The group begin to follow the path in the tunnel and look around to see the many different Pokemon living there.)
(Pokemon like Zubats, Golbats, Paras, Sandshrew, or other Pokemon that like to live in caves.)
(Over time, Mew and the others notice something.)
(off because they end up finding themselves in front of a dead end.)
Misty: "Huh? This isn't the way out,"
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Maybe we took a wrong turn. Let's head back and try another,"
(Mew says.)
(And that's what they did.)
(They go back and try a different direction.)
(but they find themselves at a few different dead ends, a large river, a cliff, and other places.)
(Soon, Mew and her friends find themselves completely lost.)
(Misty groans and says.)
Misty: "Oh no! Don't tell me we're lost again!"
Mew: "It seems so. And it appears my Pokenav is not picking up a signal in the cave,"
(Mew says, having her Pokenav out.)
(Brock looks at the map and says.)
Brock: "It's a bit hard to read the map in this lighting."
Tomo: "So what do we do?"
(Tomo asks.)
Mew: "The only thing we can do. We'll have to go back to the entrance and see if we can get better readings in our direction,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Yeah. I don't want to be lost in this cave,"
(Misty says.)
(With that, Mew and her friends begin to go back.)
(the way they came so they can get a better idea on finding their way to the other side.)
(They've been walking for quite a while until they stop to feel the ground shaking.)
Mew: "What's that?"
(Mew wonders.)
Misty: "What's what?"
(Misty asks.)
Brock: "I think Mew's right. I felt like the ground shook for a minute,"
(Brock says.)
(Suddenly, the ground where they're standing gives weight and collapses.)
(Soon, everyone begins falling down the tunnel as they scream in fear as they fall through the hole.)
(Suddenly, they hear a voice.)
???: "Hey, are you okay?"
(Soon, Mew groans and begins to open her eyes as the voice asks again.)
???: "Are you all alright? That was a nasty fall you guys had."
(Mew looks up to see a tall, thin man with bright scarlet red spiked hair, pale skin, and dark eyes.)
(He wears a medieval-looking navy blue tunic with red-orange trim.)
(a brown belt around his waist, and large black boots with orange two rings around the top of each boot.)
(The cuffs of his long sleeves are black with orange zigzagging trim separating the cuff from the navy blue part of the sleeve.)
(He sports a long, flowing cape around his neck which is black on the outside and crimson red on the inside.)
(Mew grunts and groans in pain as she begins to sit up.)
(The man helps her as he says.)
???: "Easy now. You might still be out of it from the fall you had."
(Mew still feels a bit dizzy from the fall.)
(she has and looks to see the man helping her sit up.)
(She then asks.)
Mew: "Where… where are my friends?"
(Suddenly, Mew begins to hear groans and grunts.)
(and turns to see Misty and the others regaining consciousness as well.)
Brock: "Wha-what happened?"
(Brock asks, sitting up.)
(Misty places her hand on her head.)
Misty: "I think I hit my head."
Tomo: "Ow! My head hurts!"
(Tomo says.)
(Soon, the other Pokemon begin to wake up as well.)
Misty: "What happened?"
(Misty asks.)
Brock: "Where are we?"
(Brock wonders.)
(Mew answers.)
Mew: "I have no idea."
(Just then, the man says.)
???: "You all fell through the hole in the cave."
Tomo: "A hole?"
(Tomo says, confused.)
(All four look up and are surprised to see the giant hole above them.)
Mew: "We must have fallen deep underground,"
(Mew says.)
(Misty panicis.)
Misty: "Don't tell me we're stuck down here."
???: "Don't worry, I know my way around the caves, so I can help you out,"
(The man says.)
(Misty and the others turn to notice the man before them.)
(Then asks.)
???: "Still, are you and your Pokemon okay?"
Mew: "I think so,"
(Mew says.)
(Pikachu and Eevee reply with a nod.)
(So do Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet.)
(Then Mew begins her introduction.)
Mew: "I'm Mew, and these are my partners, Eevee and Pikachu."
(Pikachu and Eevee reply.)
Pikachu and Eevee: "Pika/Eevee." (Hello.)
Tomo: "I'm Tomo, and these are my pals, Meloetta and Skwovet,"
(Tomo says.)
Meloetta: "Meloetta." (Nice to meet you.)
(Meloetta says.)
Skwovet: "Skwov," (Hi.)
(Skwovet replies.)
Misty: "I'm Misty, and these are Togepi and Pichu,"
(Misty says.)
Brock: "And I'm Brock,"
(Brock says.)
Lance: "A pleasure to meet you guys. My name is Lance,"
(The man says.)
(Hearing the name and seeing his appearance Brock asks.)
Brock: "Lance? You wouldn't have to be Lance of the Elite Four who specializes in Dragon Types."
Lance: "That's right,"
(Lance says.)
(Mew and the others become surprised to hear that they have met the final of the Elite Four.)
(Soon after the introduction, Mew and her friends walk with Lance.)
(down the tunnel a little as they discuss the incident.)
Lance: "I see. So you're planning on competing at the Pokemon League at the Indigo Plateau, right Mew?"
(Lance asks.)
Mew: "Yeah. I'm able to get my eight badges here to compete, but we ended up getting lost while traveling through victory road,"
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Not to mention falling down that deep hole,"
(Misty says.)
Brock: "And we need to find a way out of this cave,"
(Brock says.)
Tomo: "And now we don't know about getting out of here,"
(Tomo says.)
Lance: "Don't worry, I think I can help you find the way out of the caves and get you to the right road to the Indigo Plateau,"
(Lance says.)
Mew: "Thanks Lance, but what are you doing here of all places?"
(Mew replies.)
Lance: "Well, there's actually a special training course I have built here deep in the caves for wild and lost Dragon Type Pokemon,"
(Lance explains.)
Brock: "Really? A training course for Dragon Types,"
(Brock says, interested.)
Lance: "Yeah. You guys wanna see?"
(Lance answers.)
Tomo: "Yeah!"
(Tomo happily answers.)
