Unlike Corvin, this warlock had a menacing air around him. Any careless actions was not an option.
If only I could feel my ice. I chewed the inside of my mouth. I haven't been able to for some time now. I had no idea why I couldn't materialize it, but I had a feeling it had to do with my pregnancy.

He snorted before barking into a full-blown laugh. As he indulged himself in whatever amused him, I veered my gaze to the door.
It was locked from the outside. I had no idea how he did it, but I'm trapped here with him.
