Chapter 105 - Chapter 104: I’ll Take on Ten at Once

"So, you're the so-called Medicine Emperor, huh? What an honor." Xiao Yan made a rather perfunctory cupped-fist gesture toward Han Feng, his expression casual. He swept a glance around at the group encircling them, then chuckled, "With such a grand turnout to block our path, surely you're not planning to rob and kill, are you?"

"Haha, what are you saying, Master Xiao?" Han Feng laughed amiably, though his eyes glinted greedily as they lingered on the deep blue flame in Zi Yan's hands. "We merely sensed an unusual energy surge in the area and came to investigate. Who would've thought you'd be lucky enough to find a Heavenly Flame? Truly enviable."

"Cut the pleasantries. Say what you're here for." Xiao Yan smirked coldly as he glanced around at the men who had secretly sealed off every possible exit.

"As expected, you're refreshingly direct." Han Feng's fake smile didn't fade as he said, "Very well. I'll be honest. I came here for the Heavenly Flame in your hands. You're a fellow alchemist—surely you understand how vital such flames are to our craft. If you're willing to hand it over, I'd owe you a great favor. Name your price—even a Tier Six pill formula—I'll deliver. How's that sound?"

Xiao Yan sneered. "A mere Tier Six formula and you want to trade for a Heavenly Flame? That's quite the 'favor' you're offering. You think I'm not an alchemist myself? If you know how crucial Heavenly Flames are, then don't bother with the flowery nonsense. If you want it, come and take it—I'll accept any challenge."

"You insolent brat!" Han Feng's smile disappeared, replaced by a chilling tone. "You really think a few small achievements in the Black-Corner Region give you the right to talk big with me? Since you won't take the easy way, don't blame me for using force!"

Before Han Feng could strike, a few figures surged forward from his side, rushing straight at Xiao Yan. These were the helpers Han Feng had brought along, eager to make a good impression. Xiao Yan only smiled faintly as he watched them approach. "Well, aren't you all just loyal little dogs?"

With his current strength, Xiao Yan could easily gauge their power—more than a dozen Dou Wang experts, along with a few Dou Huang, and Han Feng himself being a high-ranking Dou Huang. Altogether, their lineup could crush nearly any of the major powers in the Black-Corner Region.

Of course, that referred only to those on the surface. From his previous life's experience, Xiao Yan knew there were plenty of hidden Dou Zong powerhouses lurking in this territory—like that old demon from Demon Flame Valley. Still, even if he were to face such figures now, he wouldn't be afraid—let alone this ragtag group.

Back when he was still a Dou Wang, he might've felt pressure in the face of such a force. But now? As long as there were no Dou Zong present, these people were just a mob to him.

Raising the Heavy Xuan Ruler slightly, Xiao Yan poured his Dou Qi into the weapon. The energy around him surged violently. Han Feng's expression darkened—his soul power could sense that the pressure emanating from Xiao Yan had already surpassed the limits of a Dou Wang. And the Dou Technique he was preparing to unleash was no ordinary move—it was stirring the very elements of heaven and earth.

"Flame Splitting Tsunami Ruler!"

Before Han Feng could warn his companions, Xiao Yan swept his ruler across. A massive beam of purple-black ruler energy, over ten meters long, exploded out. With a thunderous roar, the blazing gale that followed spread across the sky like a volcanic eruption.

Blood mist burst in midair—the renowned Dou Wang experts who had made their names in the Black-Corner Region were instantly reduced to ash in a single strike. Zi Yan and Qing Lin watched from below, mouths agape. This was their first time witnessing Xiao Yan's full power in action, and what they saw was far beyond the strength of a typical Dou Huang.

The devastating wave didn't stop with the first few—it swept toward the rest of Han Feng's group. Although the ones behind were much stronger than the cannon fodder in front, they had to quickly gather their Dou Qi to form a defensive barrier just to survive the impact.

Even so, as the massive ruler beam struck their defenses, the resulting shockwave left all their expressions grim. If any one of them had faced that alone… they wouldn't have survived.

Taking advantage of their momentary distraction, Xiao Yan swiftly swallowed several pills to replenish his Dou Qi. Using Flame Splitting Tsunami Ruler no longer left him weak like it once had, but unleashing the Demonic Flame Eye to subdue the Sea Heart Flame earlier had drained him significantly. That was why he had used such a powerful move from the start—to intimidate and buy time for recovery.

"Didn't expect this brat to be hiding such strength…" Han Feng frowned deeply. The momentary glimpse of the purple-black flame earlier had startled him—it wasn't something listed on the Heavenly Flame Ranking, yet the power it released was no less formidable.

And the fact that Xiao Yan still wanted the Sea Heart Flame meant it wasn't a Heavenly Flame—or so it should be. After all, under normal conditions, a person could only harbor one Heavenly Flame at a time. Still, even if it wasn't one, its destructive force was no joke. If he could get his hands on it and refine it…

"So what now? Still planning to continue?" Xiao Yan's lips curled into a mocking grin as he sensed the killing intent rising in Han Feng. Though he was only showing the strength of a two-star Dou Huang, if he went all out, even some Dou Zong experts would find it hard to deal with him. He might even have a chance of taking one down. So as for these people? He didn't consider them a real threat.

"A Dou Huang's power, a terrifying Earth Tier Dou Technique… You certainly kept your cards well-hidden, Master Xiao," Han Feng said with a smile returning to his face. "But no matter how strong you are, you're still only one man. On my side, I have over ten elite allies."

"Good. Come at me, all of you." Xiao Yan raised his fingers and crooked them in a beckoning gesture. "One or ten—it makes no difference to me."
