Marilyn was nervous, and she had every reason to be.
Not long ago, she was crying over the fact that her young master had been sent out without her.
When her elder sister told her she wouldn't be allowed to accompany him on this trip, Marilyn felt as if her role as his shadow was slipping away.
She hardly ever showed herself before the Matriarch unless called, but her fear and insecurity pushed her to break that rule. At breakfast, she had asked whether she had done something wrong or if she was being replaced.
The Matriarch told her it wasn't like that. Her young master simply had to finish this mission on his own.
