"So you're leaving?" Kaelith asked, leaning back in her seat.
Hades straightened, a faint nervousness showing in his tone. "Is there a problem, Mother? I promise to stay low profile."
The only concern that came to mind was his identity as the Chaos Heir. That could cause issues here in the Dragon's Realm—but once he returned to the human world, he'd simply be Hades again.
Yet, the look on Kaelith's face told him this was about something else.
"It's not that I didn't expect it," she said calmly. "I knew your other mother came here to ask for help. I'm just… unsure if you should be getting involved."
Hades frowned. "Will it cause some kind of problem?"
Kaelith folded her arms, her tone turning serious. "As you must have heard, Raarka serves under one of the Seven Fangs. Going against him could disrupt our alliance with Kaizar."
Hades blinked in surprise. "We're allied with the Fang family?"
