I see a shadow where children play,
A warning I carry, but can't give away.
Eyes may read, and minds may know,
But hands that could help are too far to show.
A badge, a name, a secret kept tight,
Danger in daylight, hidden from sight.
I shout in silence, I write in fear,
But only a helper can make her hear.
If you can see this, and understand too,
You hold the answer—what will you do?
For unless you help, the message is lost,
And safety for children may come at a cost.
