Chapter 10,
Mari appears from the shadows in front of Hazu and Saint, they both jump back immediately.
"Oh my- I'm not that ugly, am I?" Mari says sarcastically,
Sangre De Reyes alarm triggers and the school goes on lockdown,
"What the?" Saint says in a slight panic,
Hazu frowns and lunges forward at Mari with insane speed, breaking the sound barrier,
Mari giggles and backhands Hazu, sending him flying through a random dorm room, Hazu is knocked out clean,
Saint's eyes widen as he sees Hazu, the proclaimed strongest student in Reiki Five getting taken out with ease,
"That's that." Mari says, slightly disappointed, she starts walking towards Saint,
"I would appreciate it if you didn't make this hard for me," Mari says casually,
Just then Beretta appears behind Saint, he touches his shoulder,
"I got it from here, Saint. You head to the safe room with the others."
"But Hazu…" Saint whispers,
Beretta just gives Saint the thumbs up,
"I have it under control." Beretta says calmly
Mari sighs as Saint starts running away from the scene,
"Under Sangre De Reyes regulations, I'm exterminating you right here!" Beretta says as he gets into fighting position,

Meanwhile, Ari and Kevo are running with students towards the safe room, just then they run past the medic room, Ari's eyes widen as he sees students still laying in there, he stops,
"Kevo, wait! There are people in there, we need to get them to safety too." Ari says, Kevo nods, and they run into the medic room;
They see Beyce and Plaster still laying unconsciously injured in the dark medic room along with plenty of other students, caused by the tournament.
"We can't carry everyone…" Kevo says in panic,
A loud crash in the distance makes the lights in the room flicker,
"Let me think… fuck!" Ari yells,
"Okay, we'll have to carry as many as we can then return to get everyone,"
Ari picks up Beyce and carries him on his back while Kevo picks up Plaster,
As they run out, they see Brugger laying unconsciously on a wall, bruised and bloody.
"Brugger?" Ari whispers in shock, he turns to his left and Prince is walking slowly while stretching his neck,
"Aw man, that gorilla was weak," He says to himself boringly
He notices Ari and Kevo,
"Hm? More apes to entertain me?"
Ari gulps, "Kevo, can you fight?" He asks hesitantly,
Kevo feels a drop of sweat fall off his forehead.
"Y-yeah…"
"On the count of three, overwhelm him." Ari says while carefully putting Beyce down, Kevo nods back and puts Plaster down,
"Yeah yeah, don't bore me to death." Prince says mockingly,
"1…"
"2…" They both get into position,
"3…"
In unison, Ari and Kevo both activate their techniques at the same time,
"Thunder Style: Shida's Storm/Scorpion Style: Viper Pulse"

In another section of Sangre De Reyes, Mari and Beretta are fighting hand-to-hand combat,
Beretta launches a chop to Mari's neck, but Mari effortlessly catches his hand,
"Please, you're not hitting me with a strike that sloppy." Mari scoffs,
Suddenly Beretta vanishes and appears in the air on top of Mari.
Mari's eyes widen, 'What!? How did he?'
Beretta rapidly goes for a heel kick at Mari's forehead, but she managed to block at the last second
But just as quickly Beretta appears behind Mari and punches her in the spine sending her flying,
'Stupid little!' Just as Mari is about to crash in a wall she dives in her shadow that saves her from the impact,
She emerges once again in front of Beretta.
"You're not bad." She smiles,
"Hmph," Beretta gets in fighting position again,
'She's skilled enough to activate Mana without recitation…'
"Unfortunately, I don't have time to play with you…" Mari quickly sinks Beretta in a shadow, trapping Beretta's lower body underground,
"Bye then!" Mari blows a kiss before leaving in her own shadow,

Saint arrives at the safe room with all the other students, the other instructors are safely guiding each student inside, once inside he notices none of his friends are there.
'Where are they?' He thinks in a panic, he remembers Mari's face and how scary she seemed, 'I can't leave them behind…'
Saint runs to the exit of the safe room to find his friends,
"Hey! Where do you think you're going!" An instructor yells,
Saint unbothered just runs past him without even looking back,
As he runs through the hallways he sees injured instructors all scattered on the floor
'Who is that girl' He thinks while running,
Just then Mari emerges from Saint's back, the shadow on his back was big enough for Mari to enter through, she hugs him from the back
"Your hair smells so good!" Mari says excitedly,
Saint panics and trips, causing him to fall, but Mari swiftly used her ability to avoid the measly fall.
Saint gets up,
"Who are you?" Saint asks, breathing heavy,
"Me? Oh, of course… yes, I can see how this is confusing. I don't actually have a lot of time, so could I answer this later? I'd prefer not to use force, so can you just come with me?" Mari asks casually, like it's not a big deal.
"You're here for me?" Saint asks in shock,
"Well… duh, yes, silly!" Mari says jokingly,
"I… I don't understand!" Saint yells,
"I don't understand anything! Ever since I came to this school it's been… it's been killing me!" Saint continues to yell, Mari stops in her tracks,
"My dad sent me here… I apparently have a rare power, but… I didn't ask for ANY OF THIS!" Saint's pupils flash red for a brief moment,
"Uh oh, that's not good…" Mari says to herself sarcastically,
"I'm tired of the subtleness… just tell me what's going on" Saint says emotionally,
"Uh-huh, yeah, I will once you come with me. Now stop acting like a child." Mari says coldly,
Saint's pupils turn red once again, this time fully.
"I don't feel like I'm gonna lose." Saint says angrily, then a massive wave of red Mana surges from Saint's body as he stands there calmly with a distraught face,
"Fine, force it is." Mari says as she gets in fighting position,
