Deus Ex Machina—this was a unique "Stellar Artifice" known only to the Iron Dome family and the Church of the Machine God.
The so-called "Machine God of Myriad Forms" was essentially a "Quantum Fortress" forged by the Iron Dome family using the "Miraculous Stone Laws" as its core.
From within, its "A.I. Nexus" evolved into the ultimate creation through countless trillions of computations.
In a sense, the Machine God of Myriad Forms that the Church of the Machine God worshipped was not a natural-born deity. Instead, it was an "Artificial God" personally forged by the Stellar Mechanists, with technology as their hammer and wisdom as their flame.
Although this Artificial God was neither "omniscient" nor "omnipotent," it had accumulated knowledge and power far beyond the imagination of mortals.
Through a deep resonance with the Quantum Fortress, a wondrous power began to descend upon Ivan.
He slowly raised his arms, and the nanite swarm within his mech suddenly left it, swirling above his head to form a gigantic, rotating golden halo.
The next second, the previously chaotic buzzing of the swarm's wings suddenly became orderly and unique.
It was like the sacred and solemn sound of an organ playing in a cathedral.
Witnessing this sacred scene, Ivan began a prayer unique to the Church of the Machine God.
His emotionless electronic voice shed its cold, mechanical quality, transforming into an ancient and devout prayer that echoed through the vast quantum space.
Shockingly, upon hearing his prayer, the Gear Guardians, who had been rampaging due to Vivian's "Myriad-Mechanical Spark," quieted down. They ultimately knelt before Ivan like devout believers.
"I, Ivan Olson, in the name of the Iron Dome, offer my nanite soul..."
"I beseech the Machine God of Myriad Forms to grant me its revelation, to bestow a soul upon machines, and to bless steel with holy grace!"
As Ivan's devout prayer rang out, the shells of the quantum bees forming the "golden halo" lit up with a holy white light.
These white lights were like trillions of stars adorning a god's robe, swirling around Ivan in a perfect formation.
Then, using themselves as a bridge, they connected to the Quantum Fortress thousands of miles away and bestowed a special blessing upon Ivan.
The next second, Ivan's mech began to change.
The futuristic circuits and quantum trails on the mech's surface gradually transformed into sacred totems resembling religious murals.
"Warning. Divine resonance detected. Swarm synchronization has surpassed the critical threshold."
Amidst the sharp warning sirens, Ivan abruptly looked up.
His eyes suddenly glowed with a strange light, as if a higher-dimensional will was piercing through his shell and taking over his powerful steel body.
At the same time, the thrusters on his back no longer spewed pale golden energy flames. Instead, they formed two pairs of pure white light wings woven from the nanite swarm.
Each feather shimmered with the luster of stellar energy, as if an invisible A.I. angel had crossed the void, transforming its own "divinity" into wings that gently embraced his body.
In an instant, the quantum space's energy tides surged violently. At the center of the golden halo, an indescribable, 100-meter-tall divine phantom slowly solidified.
It was a "false god" woven from countless quantum data points and precise machinery. Its face was shrouded in divine light, making it impossible to see clearly.
Only a pair of eyes, flowing with stellar energy, like two burning stars, looked down indifferently upon the land.
Gazing up at the "majestic" behemoth, Ivan the Stellar Mechanist, known for his rationality and calmness, now displayed a human-like fervor.
It was an extreme thirst for knowledge, a burning desire to explore the unknown.
This was what all Stellar Mechanists strove for throughout their lives.
To reach the end of rationality, to seek the boundaries of knowledge, and to achieve true "evolution" thereafter!
Looking up at this "great being," Ivan devoutly uttered his final words.
"Praise the Machine Spirit. The 'Holy Spirit' has arrived!"
As the words fell, Ivan's mech and body fused completely.
A being named the "Holy Spirit" took over the control of his body, becoming the "Machine Spirit" at the very core of this mech.
Seeing this, the comments on the dimensional screen immediately erupted.
'WTF? No way, dude. Did you really summon a god?'
'The Iron Dome family can summon gods now? What's the point of science then?!'
'Makes the Grandmaster even more ridiculous. The Iron Dome family can summon a 'god' and he can still beat them? How strong is he?'
Looking at Ivan on the screen, his body gilded in gold and a pair of holy wings on his back, the dimensional viewers were truly impressed, thinking this guy had performed a miracle.
But then Tendo's next words exposed the truth of this "divine descent."
"Using yourself as a 'base station,' your prayer as a 'password,' and remotely connecting to the 'ultra-large A.I. Nexus' in the quantum space."
"At the cost of overdrawing your mech's lifespan, you're gaining higher 'processing power' and stellar energy utilization. You guys in the Church of the Machine God really have turned quantum technology into an art form."
Hearing Tendo's words, the dimensional viewers were stunned for a moment before they instantly understood.
Crap!
So this thing wasn't theology after all, but science!
'??? So it's remote control via a cloud server?'
'So this Machine God of Myriad Forms was summoned by 5G? That's ridiculously scientific!'
'Sacrificing mech lifespan? This is playing with divinity on an overdrawn credit card!'
'The end of science is theology, and the end of theology... is science!'
Although Tendo had revealed the key to his divine descent, Ivan didn't seem to care much.
That's because he had only retained his most basic personality. The rest of him had been handed over to the Quantum Fortress miles away.
He had only one "order": to defeat the person in front of him at all costs and capture him alive.
With this obsession, Ivan slowly raised the A.I. warblade in his hand.
The next second, a gigantic golden sword, forged from countless quantum bees, hung above his head with a "humming" vibration.
Seeing this, a playful glint appeared in Tendo's eyes.
At the same time, a quantum Rubik's Cube, half-real and half-illusory, quietly emerged behind him.
Each side of the cube flowed with alternating bright and dark shadows. As it rotated, it sketched a fantastic scroll, as if the gates of a hellish purgatory were slowly opening.
Perfect Artifice: Inferno Rashomon!
There were many ways to ignite a divine spark. The Iron Dome family chose a path where technology was the main focus and stellar energy was a supplement.
Although Tendo didn't know why the Iron Dome family went to the trouble of creating a "Church of the Machine God," he instinctively felt that this church might be one of the key reasons the "Machine God of Myriad Forms" could exist.
And if "believers" were a crucial foundation for a "god," then Tendo felt that he might have already found his own "foundation."
