Chapter 160 - 160 Odin Almost Lost Himself At A Glance

On the moon, in the new Asgard.

The two stood in the temple, Thor showed a humble expression on his face.

Not only because Russell created a new world for the Asgard people, but also because he felt a breath similar to the power of Asgard from the white light just now.

But it is not exactly the same.

The status is obviously higher, not in the same dimension!

There is no doubt that this is the real King of God, even if Odin is resurrected, he still needs to submit.

"I wonder what Asgard can do for you?"

Thor asked proactively.

He is much more mature now than before, and knows that this true god came to him, and it must not be just for the sake of the Aesir to create a new world.

There must be other reasons.

Russell was not polite and nodded: "Go call Valkyrie, there is something she needs to complete.

Valkyrie is valkyrie. "Three-nine-three"

This is a general term, but it doesn't matter now that there is only one left.

Thor did not dare to neglect it and quickly asked the guards to find someone.

Soon, a four-horse landed outside the temple.

A woman in armor hurried into the temple.

After seeing the two, she knelt on one knee: "God King." "Father of All Gods!"

According to Asgard's tradition, the strongest among the Aesir gods is called the Father God.

She believed that Thor would not blame herself.

Thor definitely didn't think there was anything wrong.

He even thought that it would be better if this person was the God King.

Unfortunately, he could only think about it, and the other party obviously looked down on him.

He quickly explained: "Mr.

Russell has something important to do with you, please cooperate."

Valkyrie nodded heavily, looked at Russell and expressed his attitude: "Please give me your orders, I will do it even if I die. "

Hearing this, Russell couldn't help but laugh:

"I really need you to die for this matter."

"Ah?" x2

Thor was shocked. How could this be a prophecy?

Valkyrie was stunned for a moment, but in the next second, he showed a solemn expression, and with a clang, he drew out the long sword without hesitation and was about to chop his neck.

He died without hesitation.

Russell showed a hint of appreciation in his eyes.

This Valkyrie is indeed qualified.

The next second, the long sword stopped one centimeter away from the neck, and could no longer share.

This time it was Valkyrie's turn to be confused, looking at the true god in front of him in confusion.

Russell did not hide it, and said with great satisfaction:

"I want you to die, not to commit suicide."

"And the so-called death is not the end, it's just a bridge I want. I will resurrect you after it's completed.

Thor didn't understand the first sentence, but the resurrection in the back sounded very shocking.

How could such an outrageous thing sound as simple as eating and drinking in the other party's mouth?

But Valkyrie was relieved.

She didn't want to pretend. Who wants to die when they can live?

At this time, a dark green magic circle appeared under Valkyrie, bursting with a faint green light!

Valkyrie's body suddenly manifested ghostly, hideous wounds—phantom injuries as if she had endured a brutal battle, her form pierced and battered by countless weapons.

Then, from the temple's high dome, a golden radiance shimmered into existence, spilling downward like sunlight from another world.

Valkyrie's soul separated from her body and was drawn upward into the light.

"It really appeared," Russell murmured, glancing at the dome with quiet satisfaction.

Thor, however, was bewildered.

All he had seen was Valkyrie's body flash with a strange green glow before she collapsed. Nothing else.

Russell looked at him, shaking his head in mild disappointment.

This last heir of the Aesir… far too blind to the hidden layers of reality.

With a flick of his finger, Russell sent a thread of divine light into Thor's eyes.

Instantly, Thor's sight shifted. Now he saw what Russell had seen—the spectral wounds, the weapons, and the breathtaking vision unfolding above them.

High above, there was a golden realm with five hundred and forty great gates, each large enough for eight hundred warriors to march through side by side.

Beyond the gates lay a grand hall, where golden shields lined the walls and masterfully forged weapons gleamed in the light.

Thor's eyes widened. "Is this… Valhalla?"

He had not truly believed the hall of fallen warriors existed—but now, here it was before him.

Snap!

The sharp sound of fingers snapping echoed through the chamber.

The soul of Valkyrie, which had been drifting toward the gates, suddenly reversed course and returned to her body.

The stream of golden light faltered, almost as if surprised. Then, after a brief hesitation, the vision of Valhalla began to fade, its connection to the mortal world dissolving.

"Do you want to see your father?" Russell asked, looking at Thor, who was still transfixed.

Thor nodded at once. Even if Odin did not speak to him, he longed to set foot in that sacred hall.

"But… don't only the souls of the dead enter Valhalla?" Thor asked, frowning.

Russell replied with calm certainty: "The boundary between life and death isn't as strict as you think. It's not hard to bend the rules."

Before Thor could respond, his body turned faint and transparent. His vision blurred—and in the next instant, he was standing within Valhalla itself.

From the inside, it was far grander than its exterior suggested—like stepping into a self-contained world.

A beam of golden light descended from above, taking shape as a tall man clad in white and gold armor.

"Father!?" Thor's voice broke with emotion as he dropped to his knees.

Odin's gaze softened, though his tone carried both sorrow and surprise. "My son… you died so soon? I once wagered with your grandfather that you would live to seven or eight thousand years."

Thor looked a little embarrassed. "Sorry to disappoint you, Father. I came here alive."

Odin's expression turned wistful. "Poor child. Only the dead can walk these halls… accept the truth."

He clearly believed Thor had not yet accepted his own death.

Then, from behind Odin, a voice unfamiliar to Thor yet ancient in its weight spoke softly:

"It's been a long time, Odin."

Odin's eyes widened in his soul-form, his entire being jolted with shock. Even in death, his senses remained sharp—yet he had not detected the figure's presence until now.

He turned sharply and beheld a man robed in white and gold, threads of light woven into every fold of the garment.

At a single glance, Odin felt as if he were staring into endless blazing light—a sun so vast it filled the entire universe.

And in that moment, he could not move.

He could only watch, frozen, as his very soul seemed to melt away under the sheer force of the being's presence.

To Thor, it appeared as if Odin had turned to stone, his body rigid, only his pupils trembling wildly.

Thor was deeply confused.

But Odin's heart was consumed with dread. He could not comprehend what manner of power this was.

The voice spoke again—this time tinged with mild exasperation:

"You're the first to look directly at me with pure spirit. You've found the quickest path to destruction."

"The fact you didn't dissolve instantly is… a quick enough reaction, I suppose."
