In Reality!
Supreme Tony was stunned.
At this moment, he couldn't think of any other words except: "Awesome!"
He had just been worried that Russell might be killed by the combined attack of the shadow gods—yet now, he reappeared in an even more powerful form!
We were still talking and laughing just a few months ago… How has Your Excellency become this overwhelmingly strong?
Powerful!
Far too powerful for him to even comprehend!
This level of strength… was enough to fight across Mephisto's dimensions themselves!
At that moment, the temperature seemed to pierce through the barrier of reality. Countless beings who looked directly at this scene felt a burning heat surging from the inside out, scorching both body and mind!
The God of Fire had arrived.
As his terrifying divine power erupted, the shadows solidified into countless crimson chains!
One end was clutched firmly in his hand. The other spread outward, like an infinitely branching tree network that blotted out the sky, binding the five shadow gods in unbreakable coils.
The God of War unleashed his strength, but glowing magical runes suddenly appeared along the chains! His immense power was redirected, shared with the other shadow gods. Cracks spread across their ancient, heavy armor!
At the same time, the God of Storms unleashed his thunder. But like the God of War's power, his lightning was scattered across his companions, neutralized in an instant.
Their attacks were rendered meaningless!
Then, the God of Knowledge moved. Strange glowing lines spread from the gaps in the chains, outlining thousands of multi-jointed arms!
It didn't look mystical—it looked mechanical.
The arms split open. From within, scalpels and lasers extended.
Lasers etched, destroying runes.
Scalpels sliced.
The crimson chains of the God of Fire—chains that neither brute force nor divine lightning could break—were methodically dismantled by the God of Knowledge!
But how could Russell just stand by and watch his power be unraveled? This was not some turn-based game!
The God of Fire's other hand shifted, melting into a blazing force of pure space. He tore open reality, forging a new world of fire!
A pocket dimension—fused with the fire god's divine power!
The space was bathed in dark red, dim and suffocating. The ground below was nothing but endless magma lakes and jagged brown stone.
And above—
There was no sun. Only a pair of enormous eyes, filling one-tenth of the sky.
Thunder and fire intertwined, pouring endlessly from those eyes!
The Mother Goddess, wearing a towering antlered helm and armor more revealing than a succubus's, stepped forward to summon a defense—
But before she could act, a crushing gaze swept over her!
Petrification!
This was the Skyhammer's messenger ability—strengthened even further after Russell's ascension to multiversal power!
Though it could not fully petrify the shadow gods…
It froze them for a single, crucial instant. Like rust spreading inside a machine, their movements faltered.
And that instant was enough!
The torrential energy, pouring like a waterfall, merged with his blazing sight. It ignited in an instant, exploding into a devastating divine gaze!
The beam split into countless lances of power, all converging at once upon the Western God!
The very fabric of space curled and warped—
Not like heated air shimmering, but true reality burning away under impossible temperature and force.
In that moment, space itself was reshaped by fire and thunder!
The armors of the shadow gods melted instantly, exposing the strange, rune-etched forms beneath.
The thunder sank into their bodies—then erupted in a cataclysmic detonation!
And yet… this was not the end!
In the Real Dimension
Everyone watched as the world of flames began to shrink rapidly.
When it contracted to a certain point, the horrifying truth was revealed—
They were not looking at a burning world at all, but at the palms of the God of Fire, slowly closing together!
Finally, the two massive hands slammed shut, erupting with a devastating shockwave. The boundary between shadow and reality shuddered violently—cracks rippled across existence itself!
The sheer oppressive force pouring through that collision made countless beings retreat in terror, even though they were separated by an entire dimension.
The weaker ones turned pale and collapsed, unable to breathe, their pupils wide with terror as they screamed helplessly!
The next second, the God of Fire's form dissipated.
Russell stood once more.
His expression was calm, his blazing eyes fixed upon the void—waiting.
And sure enough—
The shadows began to thicken again. They writhed and pulsed, and within a few breaths, the shadow ancient gods reemerged, their forms outlined in shifting lines and symbols.
They laughed.
"Heh… didn't I say? No matter how many times you kill us, it's useless!"
"Death will never reach us!"
"It belongs only to you!"
"Run away, prey—run!"
Their voices overlapped, mocking, cruel, proclaiming their unbreakable truth.
In the real dimension, the Aesir gods watching fell back into despair.
But Russell only laughed.
"I see it now. You're not resurrected. Not reincarnated."
"It's… revival."
"And revival doesn't come from yourselves. So tell me—what power are you relying on?"
Just as his angels could be revived, but only through his power, the same principle applied here. Revival meant dependency.
The instant those words fell, Russell saw it clearly—their expressions darkened.
The God of Storms snarled coldly:
"The power of light lets you see—but you cannot see far enough! Death is still your only fate!"
"Do you really think we cannot kill you?"
In the next instant, divine power erupted from all five shadow gods at once. The entire shadowland shook with their fury!
Storms and thunder surged from nothingness, filling nearly the whole realm, turning into the most primal of natural disasters.
The God of Deceit chuckled:
"Storm and thunder… the finest blades. Perfect for slaughter."
His word-spirit warped reality itself, twisting truth with lies.
The storms and lightning converged, symbols etching themselves across their forms, and all of it condensed into a colossal sword, which fell into the hands of the God of War!
Then the God of Knowledge shifted. His body warped into layered, shifting shapes, and tens of thousands of dark, unblinking eyes opened across his face.
The sight was sickening.
"I will give you endless knowledge!"
In an instant, countless black rays shot forth, enveloping Russell. Endless torrents of information flooded into his mind!
This wasn't an attack of brute force—it was an attack of law itself.
Russell's mental barriers buckled. His eyes went glassy, his body frozen in place, unable to react.
It was like a computer overwhelmed with useless data, crashing into a deadlock.
And yet—his deeper spirit screamed in alarm, desperately trying to awaken him.
That was when a soft laugh echoed across the battlefield.
The Mother Goddess.
She spread her arms, and a phantom image bloomed beside Russell—gentle, maternal, cradling him like an infant.
A lullaby drifted into the air, soothing and warm.
Russell's eyelids grew heavier with every note. His body slackened. His eyes closed slowly—peacefully—on the brink of sleep.
Seeing this, the God of War grinned viciously.
