Chapter 70: An Eye for an eye.
In the noon, Scott and his subordinates gathered in the camp meeting room. The committee all looked fierce in extreme cold aura.
Scott was the one to speak first. "Maxson's wife had been kidnapped and most importantly, she's heavily pregnant. Her life and that of the baby are at stake. Any mistake from us could ruin everything". His friends had drove from their companies straight to the underground immediately he informed them.
"Can we trace the kidnapper on time?". Gad asked in reluctance to delay.
"With that footage we got, by the help of the new tools implemented and Hack's hardwork, we've been able to get some information on the kidnapper".
Micheal sighed..."Who are those then?".
"Yeah, they seems unfamiliar in this game". Roy added his own thoughts.
"They are an old mafia alliance formed since a long time. They've been in hiding since they lost their great leader, who was like a backbone to them". Venom explained to everyone.
"Their system began to evolve again when a new leader led the gang to reincarnate. Keefer Jain was the former leader, but we aren't sure of the new person who just took over".
"That's hidden indeed! Well, we can still work using that. Then, what about their hideout and base?". Gad asked calmly.
"That, we never know. Their security really seems tight just like ours". Roy was moved, which gang would be able to reach up to their standard?....
"Let's focus on rescuing Joan first, then we would proceed to know why they had laid an attack on our people". Scott resolved everything.
"Don't you think they are trying to get to us, by just using someone dare to us?". Micheal did a strong rethink.
"Hmmm, that could be true too". Roy said.
"Guys, please let's start something. You all know her condition, I had promised Grandfather I'll bring her back tonight". Maxson spoke in worriness and uneasiness.
"Boss! We just got an anonymous message". Prum moved along with Joel as they showed him the message on the system in their hands.
"Display it, let everyone see". Sky Lord commanded.
Joel did as he had instructed, a message popped out on the large screen in the room.
"You want a bargain? Free that woman with you, and I'll free your woman". The anonymous read.
The next thing that shows on the screen was a video. "Boss, a video is also attached to it". Joel announced.
In the video, Joan was tied on a chair, her stomach bulging out. She was so weak that she couldn't struggle to free herself.
"My Joan. Fuck!". Maxson slammed the table in fury, everyone present looked at him and felt his pain.
"We would get her safe bro". Roy consoled him.
"Yh, yh".
"Track the email now". Scott shouted coldly.
"Boss, it is impossible. We can only send and receive message from them". Joel explained.
"Hack, have you tried it too?". He asked the expert.
Hack quickly went to the system, seeing the email, he nodded his head. "Impossible Boss!". He also confirmed.
"Take my order and resend this!". Scott said.

This was the second day Presch had been taking the portion of drug given to her by her mother, she was to use it for three days.
She was the only one at home, her mother-in-law had gone to the market. She has been the one cooking since her pregnancy discovery.
Broe had also left the house in a jiffy, set out to work in the morning. He had promised her to be back in the afternoon to watch over her.
Presch discovered she had been having several strange pain since she began using the drug. Pain in her abdomen, chest and legs, which rarely occurs to her before.
At first, she had thought it the drug working. She kept assuring herself all will be fine. Also, her mother had not even call her to check up on her.
Maybe her lover is a very wealthy and influential man that had influenced her mum to abandon her children.
In her different thoughts, a sharp pain struck her between her thighs and stomach. Presch fell badly on the ground because she couldn't balance her leg well on the ground she was standing on.
"Owuchhh!". She cried out in pain, no one at home to help her. "Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah ah". She kept wincing in pain.
Presch's abdomen throbbed in pain, between her leg, she saw blood flowing from her to the ground. She was in a pool of blood, it already filled the floor and designed it.
She passed out because of the terrible pain she couldn't endure and the lost of blood she witnessed.

Above all, Scott's asked for Maxson's opinion. Without his opinion, they wouldn't take any action.
"Brother, I am sorry. I know Cylene was the one who harmed your wife, please let her go for the sake of Joan and the baby". He begged.
"Smiles... Maxson, do you think I won't release her because of my own personal revenge? No I wouldn't do that to my blood". Scott said with a sincere heart.
"Hack! Venom! Prum and Joel. Let others follow you, go to the location sent to us. Take Cylene along with you, we would be behind you". He commanded fiercely.
"Yes boss". With unison, they responded.
Maxson sheded tears as he hugged his brother, thanking him for his support everytime.

Broe came in about 10 minutes after Presch passed out, he walked in exhausted.
"Baby, I'm home". He announced his presence.
He did this for the second and third time before he saw her lying on the ground in a pool of blood.
"PRESCH! PRESCH!". He called out to her as he hurried to take her to the hospital.

The doctor on duty quickly attended to her because it was an emergency case. Broe cried as he knelt down praying for a good news.
"Mr Robbin, have you done the scan of the baby?". The doctor asked as he came out of the surgery room, his hand gloves stained with blood.
"No we haven't, doctor why asking this kind of question when my wife's life is on the line?". Broe got angry at him.
"The sex of the baby would help us to know how to go about her treatment. Though, Mr Robbin, your wife have lost a lot of blood. The baby in her stomach has stopped breathing before you got here, and with our discovery, seems your wife have been taking one weird drug".
"This drug has damaged the baby's sense organs and breathing system. The baby needs to be removed immediately to save your wife's life". The doctor explained the complications.
Broe who had stood up knelt down back in a devastated position.
