Chapter 26 - Chapter 26: Reverse Currents and Reflective Revelations

Thunderclouds brewed over Loguetown as the Going Merry cut through the waves at full speed. With Smoker hot on their trail and Marines swarming the docks, it had been Vihaan's sudden creation of a blinding mirror flare wall that allowed the crew to escape unnoticed—his mirrors scattering the sunlight in all directions and disorienting pursuit.

Luffy stood at the bow, fists raised. "To the Grand Line!!!"

Zoro leaned against the mast, bruised but grinning. "We barely made it out."

Nami took the helm with focused eyes, guiding them through the shifting tides. Usopp fiddled with tools beside her, whispering, "Hey, Nami… I've been working on something for you."

He pulled out a long, polished staff—silver plated with rotating sections and small vents along its sides.

"I call it the Clima-Staff," Usopp said with pride. "You can control temperature and air with it—well, almost. You still need special balls."

Before Nami could react, Vihaan walked over, holding a glowing orb with lightning flickering inside.

"I added something extra," he said, slotting the orb into the staff. "A Mirror-Energized Lightning Core. It stores static charges from the air and amplifies electric output through your strikes. Aim it, and… boom."

Nami smiled as she spun it. "Thanks, boys."

Vihaan grinned, standing beside her. "With you, storms obey."

Sanji clenched his jaw in the kitchen nearby. "Tch. Stupid lightning mirror boy…"

The journey toward Reverse Mountain took them across calm waters for two full weeks. During the day, they trained, mapped, repaired the ship, and fished. At night, they gathered for stories and quiet bonding under the stars.

Vihaan, however, spent long hours in his cabin—studying two books intensely.

One was the Haki Fundamentals Journal, a thick red-bound manuscript he'd found buried on the enigmatic island.

He poured over every detail.

(In the next part in explanations so I have made those in bullet pointers , easier to understand the thoughts of the character you know)

Vihaan's Haki Understanding:

Observation Haki (Kenbunshoku):

Sensing presence, emotions, and intent.

At advanced levels: foresight of brief future moments.

Vihaan practiced in silence, meditating for hours—he could now faintly "feel" emotions in others.

Armament Haki (Busoshoku):

Invisible armor to defend or strike.

At higher mastery, can bypass Devil Fruit defenses.

He began sparring with Luffy daily, creating hardened mirror gloves and clashing until his arms ached.

Conqueror's Haki (Haoshoku):

Rare ability to dominate the will of others.

No mention of how to awaken it—only that it's born of leaders.

Vihaan read the page, paused, then shut the book with a smile. "Let's see."

The second volume he read was a legendary black book trimmed in silver—a copy of the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia: Elemental & Rare Editions.

There, he found his fruit:

Name:(Mirror-Creation Fruit)

Type: Godly Paramecia

Primary Ability: Allows the user to create, shape, manipulate, and enter mirrors.

Current Known Powers:

Mirror Dome: Traps enemies in a near-impenetrable reflective sphere.

Mirror Blades & Kunai: Creation of sharp weapons from condensed mirror shards.

Mirror Platform/Wings: Platforms, shields, or wings of reflective material for flight or mobility.

Mirror Storage: Can trap non-living items inside a personal mirror dimension (limited space).

Advanced Abilities & Potential Future Mastery:

Reflection Projection: Use mirrors to reflect attacks (even Haki-infused ones with enough control).

Dimensional Mirror Travel: Step into a mirror and exit from any other reflective surface nearby.

Mirror Doppelgangers: Summon temporary clones via mirrors for distraction (not sentient).

Mirror World Construction: At peak, create a personal mirror realm for ambushes or recovery.

Light Manipulation (Theory): By curving mirrors at extreme angles, possibly manipulate light to turn invisible temporarily or blind opponents.

Mirror Demon: Turn yourself into a demon with Mirrors harder than steel and have full body reflection

Mirror Creation: Create and copy realistic stuff and make them exactly the same

NO FACTS KNOWN ABOUT AWAKENING

Vihaan closed the book and leaned back. "I'm not just a reflection of the crew—I'm going to be its strongest defense and its sharpest blade."

Finally, their ship reached it.

Reverse Mountain.

A gigantic peak where four oceans met, its current flowed upward, and only one small waterway allowed access to the Grand Line on the other side.

"Everyone brace yourselves!" Nami shouted. "We've only got one shot!"

The Going Merry tilted up the current. Luffy grinned as wind tore past his face.

"Let's gooooooo!"

Usopp screamed in terror, while Zoro held steady. Vihaan stood at the front with mirror plates on the bow, reducing resistance just enough to smooth their ascent.

The Merry raced up the mountain—and disappeared into the clouds.
