Suddenly, his smile turned into a determined expression.
"I wanted to say something…" he told Luke, looking into his eyes. "I know you are strong. I know you are much stronger than you show. But… I want to win, too."
Luke's eyes narrowed.
Unknown to him, All Might had a chat with Midoriya urging the kid to show himself to the world in this Sports Festival — show himself as the new Symbol of Peace.
"Yeah?" Luke replied, smiling. "Let's hope there will be no competition of height…"
Midoriya stared at Luke with a dead graveness for a while before bursting out with a feat of laughter.
