Luke stared at the Nomu as Donald began pouring out the details they had found out after a preliminary examination.
He wasn't overly worried about Conformity possessing this Nomu.
After facing Conformity-possessed beings repeatedly in the last year, Luke had gained a good idea about who could be possessed and when.
Instability and Vulnerability were the keys, Luke knew.
Whether these were physical or mental, both gave the chance to Conformity, and perhaps Singularity, to take over the lifeform.
The only reason that the Nomus were so prone to being controlled was because of their nature.
Dr. Kyudai, with the help of All For One, had designed these Nomus to hold as many Quirks as they could at the cost of their reasoning abilities, while simultaneously mutating their bodies.
The Nomus couldn't even think for themselves and could only follow specific orders.
So, all one had to do was to injure a Nomu enough to make it physically unstable, paving the way for Conformity to take over.
The same had happened in the last two cases, if Luke was right about all this.
In the first case, when he had infiltrated Dr. Kyudai's secret lab under the Jaku Hospital, an Upper-Tier Nomu had attacked him.
Even though this Nomu had a Regeneration Quirk, it wasn't as formidable as the Super Regeneration that the Nomu, who was defeated by All Might, held.
That's why, when the mutated rat tore through half of its torso, it left the Nomu vulnerable both mentally and physically.
Similarly, the Lower Tier Nomu that Luke had kidnapped had also been on the verge of dying. This one didn't even have a Regeneration Quirk.
After returning from the Gray Castle, and mulling over it for a few days, Luke couldn't help but conclude that Conformity must have possessed the Nomu the very first time he had called out Its name.
"What do we know about Dr. Blessed?" Luke suddenly asked.
If his father was interested in eliminating him, then Luke must know what was going on behind the scenes.
If Reijirou Saionji indeed considered Dr. Blessed a threat to Luke, then there was no saying to what lengths that man could go in eliminating that threat.
Luke wouldn't be shocked if Reijirou ordered Donald to create Nomus of their own to counter the threat from Dr. Blessed and All For One — who was still unknown publicly.
If it were before, then Luke would have even helped them out in creating Nomus.
With ample resources, and if they didn't worry about losing lives, then Luke had confidence in creating Nomus at the Blue Site as well.
However, every Nomu, other than the High-End ones, was now a potential vessel for Conformity.
And, no matter how intelligent Luke was, he didn't have any confidence in creating the High-End Ones. Not yet.
It would be better if he just let Donald and other scientists experiment on this Nomu.
Not only would it keep them occupied, but it would also give Luke a much-needed alibi later, if needed.
Dr. Donald was taken aback a bit by the sudden question.
"To be honest," the bald, old man nudged his glasses, "… Dr. Blessed's Quirk feels similar to yours."
Luke put up the Clown's face, manipulating his facial expression.
He let out a chuckle. "Don't say that in front of Nyx," he quipped. "She would kill me if she found out I am keeping a monkey around me."
Donald let out a hollow laugh.
"The similarity only lies in giving extraordinary abilities to animals," he explained. "However, unlike you, the few Quirks his animals have shown are just too high level. You can't pull off something like that yet. For example, the Teleportation Quirk. If I have to put a finger on it, then it must be a Steal, Manipulate, and Bestowal type Quirk."
Luke's brows rose. "You mean… Dr. Blessed can steal a Quirk, change the Quirk's nature, and bestow it upon someone else? Isn't that…"
Dr. Donald nodded. "It's just too unbelievable. But so is the existence of Bioalchemy. For now, if my guess is right, Dr. Blessed and the one behind the Nomu, who can also do something similar, are All Might-Class Villains.

Divine Pathways. Potions. Cogitation. Sequences.
Dr. Blessed had told them everything.
Ever since then, both had been looking forward to this day.
Anything that could help them in getting stronger, without compromising their ideals, was just too good an opportunity to let go.
When they were done, Iwao and Kazuho took a deep breath and uttered those words.

Suddenly, they had a feeling as if someone from very far was eying them down. They could feel a gaze pressing on their shoulders. They could feel it chilling their bones.
Then, the space parted over the tables in their respective rooms.
When all the feelings vanished, they found a vial of potion resting on the table.
Iwao and Kazuho put the vials to their lips and gulped down the potion.
It was time for them to become — Beyonders!
