Class 1-A Campsite,
In a classroom, Aizawa was leaning against a wall as Vlad King instructed the kids.
From Class 1-B, only Neito Monoma was here, failing the practical part of his Final Exams as well.
From Class 1-A, an entire hoard was present, though.
The two backbenchers, Luke and Todoroki, had swiftly taken their seats as usual. In the front rows, Kirishima, Mina, Sato, Sero, and Kaminari sat, constantly complaining about not being able to join the fun event planned by the Pussycats.
"Stop it!" Vlad King thundered. "You all must learn that there are consequences for everything. Look at Monoma here. Isn't he taking it well?"
"A little too well," Nyx cawed. "It almost seems like he's used to it…"
Mina and Kaminari sniggered, the other students gaining a wry smile on their faces.
"At least I didn't end up almost killing someone!" Monoma shouted aloud, grinning ear to ear. "And why hasn't the press covered the five failures of Class 1-A?! You sure love to be in the news, don't you?! That's so weird, isn't it?! And what will the people say, huh?! The sons of the richest man in the country and No. 2 Pro Hero are both attending extra lessons for their recklessness…"
And on and on, Monoma kept blabbering, until Vlad King smacked his head to shut him up.
Nyx licked her beak with a sly smirk. "… Dumbass!"
[She would have made a good Hunter…] Miss Justice commented, sighing within Luke's head.
Luke sighed along with the System.
Through Mirko, he had already found that Sand, Gran Torino, Midnight, and her were also in the forest, waiting for the Villains to appear.
With Lemillion, Pussycats, Erasure Head, and Vlad King in the mix, that amounted to a whopping eleven Pro Heroes.
No group of Villains would be dumb enough to take them on, hoping to run away unscathed.
However, the Villains who would dare to come here would have thought of it as well, Luke knew.
In his past life, Momo had told him how a group of Villains, Shigaraki's associates, had attacked the Training Camp, which had resulted in them successfully kidnapping Bakugo.
In a sense, that had been the beginning of everything, as it had also forced All For One out by the end.
A grand fight had broken out between All For One and All Might, with the latter losing all traces of One For All for good.
With so many events already changed, Luke did not know how all this would play out now.
What he was sure of was that Villains would definitely come, as no matter how much fate seemed to change, some major events were still finding a way to repeat themselves.
And it troubled Luke the more he thought it.
It was especially so with Decryption, which was becoming a ridiculous combination with his scientific brain.
With so many Heroes involved in the Training Camp, Luke couldn't afford to play the part of Dr. Blessed this time. Not only was it because of Ragdoll keeping an eye on him, but also because Dr. Blessed's appearance here would be too much of a coincidence… considering the several coincidences that had already involved him and Class 1-A.
Before Decryption, Luke hadn't thought over it this deeply.
Now, however, he thought otherwise, fearing that someone would definitely link one of the students with Dr. Blessed, ending all his plans.
Last time, the children had survived this, Luke thought, as Vlad King continued the lecture. But…
[… but?]
What if a different set of Villains appear this time? Luke contemplated, noting down points. What if they appear in a much larger number? There are many Pros, but… they cannot be all places at once, either. Also, I have a feeling… With Aina out of the picture, the Villains can attack anytime…
"Everyone!"
The word rang like a chime in all minds, as clear from the way both students and the two Pros straightened their spines.
"… I bet it's the news of 1-A losing the event." Monoma smirked.
"Quiet," Erasure Head said. "Something's wrong…"
"We are being attacked!" Mandalay screamed in their minds using her Telepath Quirk. "There are two in front of us, but there can be more! If you can move, return to Class 1-A campsite immediately! And if you come across an enemy, retreat and DO NOT engage!!"
"Vlad!" Erasure Head said, already rushing out of the door. "I am leaving this place to you…"
Running through the corridor, Erasure Head threw an earpiece, hoping to contact Sand, Midnight, Gran Torino, and Mirko. However, a buzz made him take it out in the next moment, making him realize that the Villains must have already taken out comms somehow.
Dammit! Erasure Head cursed. Is it really Dr. Blessed again?!
The Pro walked out of the building, and his eyes widened. The entire forest was burning, sheets of black smoke covering the sky and darkening the stars.
"… Carelessness…" A chill ran down Erasure Head's spine, a flaming hand appearing in the corner of his eyes. "… can be fatal… Pro…"
…
Mirko hopped from point to point, crossing dozens of meters in moments and carrying a grin on her face.
The smell of burnt wood surrounded her as much as the purplish fog.
With only one whiff, she had realized that it was poisonous.
Suddenly, a massive, robed figure appeared in Mirko's vision, widening the grin on her face even more.
Sensing her coming, the figure turned around and took off its robe.
"Hahaha!" Mirko laughed, recognizing the man. "You just made my day…"
Then, just as she was about to call out the figure's name, she noticed something odd.
The man was still the same from the time when she had faced the Stain's goons, taking them on singlehandedly.
Blond hair. Muscles. Scar on the left side of his face. A fake left eye.
It was one of the Claws of Conformity's members — Muscular!
However, there was one odd thing — standing out like a thumb — making Mirko lose her grin and come to a stop.
This Muscular was wearing a… device on his head.
