As soon as the Humvee I was driving reached the refugee camp, the sun was already setting.
The Humvee seemed to attract some attention, including Doctor Portia, who had been waiting for me to return in front of my stepfamily's refugee tent.
Attracting a lot attention, I had no choice but to get out of the Humvee and approach Doctor Portia.
"Of all the times, why do you look like a lonely adult woman, right now?" I asked Doctor Portia casually.
"..." Doctor Portia seemed to have waited a long time, taking a deep breath before answering my question.
"I seem lonely... because the man I love suddenly disappeared without giving any prior information about his whereabouts," Doctor Portia replied, taking a piece of paper from her uniform pocket.
I could see several pieces of paper that looked important to read immediately, but Doctor Portia's curiosity about my whereabouts had to be satisfied first.
And of course, wherever Doctor Portia is, Melissa will be there too.
