So i first want to adress the comments. There are some people who haven't read the books, but it's stated that he knows over 700 spells, thanks to a skill he has, called Dark wisdom. It basically allows him to extract knowledge. I'd like him to actually use these spells, because spamming nuclear blast, dragon lightning and grasp heart is gonna get boring really quickly. There is no explicitly stated limitation to the kind of spells he can learn, meaning that he should be able of druidic magic, demonic magic and even holy magic along with more.
I consider dark wisdom as a way to learn foreign magic without being limited by his classes and specialisations.
At the same time, without those classes and specialisations, many spells he knows, will be less effective than those he has his levels in.
If he were to cast a holy spell, the spell would be very weak, and even damage him, due to his negative Karma. Healing magic would work, but he'd have to use a high tier for it to be effective and the high tier of the spell would damage him.
Another notable thing is that he is classified as "special." If you look up a character sheet of his, you will see his classes, and a diagramm showing off his stats. "Special" happens to be maxed out in his case. It should be something like a luck or arcane status, which he probably gains through racial levels. In video games, this stat usually affects special magic or statis effects. Curses, poison and more is a status effect which takes action once it fills up. Death magic could qualify as Special, but i dont think anyone wants to see him spamming [Death] and [True Death]
So, he needs special magic.

About the Classes, i wanted to specify that :
0/15 = Base classes
0/10=Further specialisation
0/5= High mastery
You cant go for further specialisation, unless you maxed out the base class. Same rule for High mastery.
The racial levels and the Job classes complement each other, as an undead, he'd be very powerful with magic even just with his Racial classes, but the Job classes take it to another level.
His stats are complemented by gear, Racial classes and specific Job classes, which i just put as an Secretclass. Its stated that he knows more spells than anyone in game after all, meaning that not everyone has access to dark wisdom.
The special also allows him to apply those spells, to basically use magic he shouldn't have access to.
His gear influences his stats, and he has a lot of items, capable of remolding his base stats. The robes he usually wears, boost his mana and mag power along with the special stat by 15, the pauldrons give him 10 in Mag Att, Mag Def and MP.
The rings dont influence those stats, and focus on more specific resistances and effects (such as fire negation or holy negation) while the Orb of Momonga gives 50 to special and 25 to Mag Att and Mag Def. It IS a worlditem after all.
