Sarah upon getting this information, was shocked. She tried to doubt what she just heard, but it wasn't just possible because the more she stirred at the portrait of Sonia on the wall along with Jonathan's, she saw every reason not to doubt him. After all, Jonathan has just appeared to be a very sincere young man, to her.
She was thinking. Still captured in the womb of shock and twists.
"What's the issue?. You are not okay, I think so. You look like one who probably knew Sonia, from the way you look"Asked Jonathan.
She sighed.
"Yes I know her.
She is really a bad and an insincere fellow''Sarah added.
Jonathan was stunned. He was surprised to hear this from her. Truly, anyone who would have associated with Sonia in one way or the other, would definitely know that she is really an insincere woman.
''You and I shall talk about this in a few hours' time from now. But for now, I would recommend you to follow me to one of the rooms that I have allocated to you. You shall be staying there for the meantime, and also, you will stay here in my mansion, until we both know what to do next,''Jonathan said.
He helped her to carry some of her loads, while they went straight upstairs, where he would be showing her the room of her base.
One hour later, Jonathan rushed out from his own room. He was dressed in a suit, and was also holding a black briefcase.
He stood elegantly and professionally looking, before Sarah, who was still sitting on the sofa in the parlor.
''Sarah''He called her.
''I am listening, boss''She replied to him.
''I will be returning in about two to four hours from now. I have an important meeting to attend to, and it would be a shame and a disgrace to me, if I am not present there''He informed her.
''I guess it's something related to what you have previously refused to share with me, when we were still in the hotel room?''She asked him.
He became silent for a while, just gazing at her.
''Well, your guess was right. But don't bother yourself, I would tell you everything that you must know regarding the strange dispute I am currently experiencing in my place of business. I have seen that you could actually be a nice lady, anyway and for this, I would also love to communicate something very important with you. Since you seem to be very much familiar with the likes of Sonia''He informed.
''Seriously?. I am surprised that you are saying this. I shall be waiting upon your arrival, to hear the full gist. Meanwhile, have a nice time, as you go to your destination''Sarah said, wishing him peace.
He smiled.
''Listen! Lest I forget. Before I returned, I would be glad if you could at least cook some nice meals for us''Jonathan appealed.
''Is not something that you will be begging or appealing to me to do. Just show me the road to your kitchen, and show me the places where you do store your raw food. That's all,''She said.
The both of them immediately walked out of the parlor, where Jonathan took her to one of his kitchens in the mansion. There, he showed her the various kinds of meals that were available for her to prepare, before his arrival. After this, he left.
Once again, Sarah was left alone in the house. The silence which emanates out of the mansion, reminds her of the sad and pathetic state, which she found herself, while she was still with Kenny in his mansion. Suddenly, she discovered that she and Kenny were never meant in the first place. Kenny knew this right from the day one of their relationship and because of this, he took great advantage of her ignorance. The ignorance that he was actually in love with her. Whereas, he wasn't.
The more she remembered him, the more her secret plight for vengeance skyrockets. But when she remembered that Kenny wasn't just the only one who pioneered her marital downfall, she became more excited to do that which is already in her mind. Just then, her mind took a new turn, to remember Sonia.
She is really mad at her.
She knew Sonia even before her appearance in Kenny's mansion. She was a long time friend of hers, in a certain secondary school. She has never dreamed or imagined that one day, Sonia would treat her in such a painful and regrettable manner. Ever since fate crossed she and Sonia on the same line of path, the both of them have been walking hand in hand, in order to carve out a better and suitable path leading to happiness, for themselves. She recalled how she brought Sonia very close to her and Kenny, and this particular life changing decision took place, after they graduated from the university.
She wanted Kenny to assist Sonia previously, in looking for an employment opportunity. Meanwhile, she never knew that she and Kenny had already met each other even before she accepted to link them up, together. All of a sudden, Kenny began to behave strangely at her. She blamed herself for not reading the handwriting on the wall on time. If not, she would have easily decoded all this, and saved herself from every future heartbreak. But now, she seems to be the one who is on the losing side, and not either of them. She has been used. She knew this. Thus, Sarah vowed to avenge them at the right time, if only fate could be merciful enough to grant her a little chance and opportunity.
Four hours later, Sarah was seen watching a telenovela, when he felt the presence of someone very familiar. But she couldn't actually say who it was. Two minutes later, someone from behind, hugged her. It was from the back. Immediately, she knew that it was Jonathan.
''I have been here for two minutes, stirring at you. You look so adorable, and I am very lucky and happy to have ever crossed the same path with you''Said Jonathan.
Sarah on the other hand, was touched. She was swallowed in the midst of confusion, as she didn't really have an idea of what he was saying. She didn't know why he was speaking in this manner. This is because she knew that they are not officially in a relationship. The one night stand that happened between them last night, was something she never planned for, and would never allow that to happen again.
''I came with a friend of mine. Meet him''Jonathan informed, drawing Sarah's attention to the visitor who he came along with.
Sarah turned to her right, and was shocked to see a devil in a suit. Kenny.
