As they were talking, Gelda said, "Umm, everyone... you have some visitors."
Licht asked, "Who could it be?"
Elizabeth said, "Maybe it's your parents, Alysa?"
Alysa replied, "It takes at least, like, 2.5 days to reach Celes Port from the Grand Empire, so it shouldn't be."
Liebe said, "Maybe it's the prostitutes from the red-light district, coming to thank us with their boobs or something."
Alysa said, "Now I wish it's them more than my parents."
Elizabeth added, "That sounds exciting."
Gelda nodded. "I know, right? Free big boobs—who can refuse?"
Licht sighed. "Why do I even bother at this point? Can you all act a bit more normal?"
Liebe said, "What do you mean? Alya, any idea what he's trying to say?"
Alysa said, "Nope. But now let's hope for the boobs."
Gelda added, "Let's hope I get a pair too."
Elizabeth said, "Sadly, Mommy, you are flat."
Gelda groaned. "You didn't have to remind me, okay?"
Licht said, "Why do I exist...?"
Liebe said, "Elizabeth, that was a bit too rude. Now, what do we say?"
Elizabeth replied, "Sorry, Mommy. You're not flat. You're big enough."
Liebe said, "Thank you."
Gelda muttered, "Ughh... good to see you know, Liebe."
Licht asked, "But seriously—who came to see us?"
Gelda answered, "It actually is the people from the red-light district."
Licht said, "Well... let them in, I guess."
Liebe smirked. "Your guess certainly has improved."
Licht shrugged. "Oh well."
Then they entered.
They said, "Thank you, Lord, for saving us."
Liebe looked around and asked, "Why are there only ten of you? I thought the red-light district had a population of over 20,000?"
One of them stepped forward. "I'm Makio from the House of Guni, and this is Maria from the House of Oria."
Liebe asked, "Why are you all here? The demon has been taken care of."
Maria said, "We came to apologize. You knights came to save us, and we treated you so harshly. We simply didn't know…"
Liebe looked to Alysa and Elizabeth. "What do you two think?"
Alysa said, "I don't mind. They were more than kind enough."
Elizabeth added, "Yeah, they also took care of me pretty well, so I'm happy."
Liebe said, "You are forgiven."
Makio said, "Thank you, Lord. When the rest of the nation turned their backs on us for being demons and prostitutes—"
Liebe interrupted, "I don't have the time or right to judge who I save. I have better things to do than weigh the worth of a life. Don't bother considering it kindness."
Makio continued, "Everyone else also wanted to come, but people like us aren't normally allowed. It took us two days just to get the necessary permission to be here. We just wanted to thank you."
Liebe said, "If you're so thankful, then... wellllll... give these two some big hugs. That's kinda the thing they wanted. And like—hard. Like, enough to choke them to death. And use your boobs. Also, give some hugs to Gelda too. She wanted some. Trust me, being a knight is quite depressing."
Gelda blushed. "Lord, I was joking. That's not necessary!"
Liebe smirked. "You were—but I wasn't."
And after a few hugs...
Alysa cried out, "Liebe, save me! I might die!"
Elizabeth gasped, "Same here—they're too big!"
Gelda wheezed, "Lord, may my soul rest in peace."
Elizabeth added, "Mommy, save me first, then die!"
Licht said, "You people really do make me sick…"
Liebe said, "Enough of the hugs. Now for something more important—do any of you have any plant-based attribute or something?"
Makio raised her hand. "I have leaf magic."
Liebe nodded. "Okay, then you are now a servant of House Faust. Your job is to feed the Ulsarius every six hours. You can use your magic or actual leaves—your choice. You'll be given a budget, etc. etc."
He pointed to three others. "You three, your job is to make sure the Ulsarius are getting enough walks and movement."
Then to another group: "You three, your job is to clean and maintain their fur daily."
Finally, to the last group: "And you three are to make sure the Ulsarius are properly played with—so just play with them. Your salary will be ten gold coins each, with twenty silvers in tax, so after taxes, you'll receive nine gold and eighty silver coins monthly."
Makio asked, "Lord, are you offering us jobs?"
Liebe said, "You weren't disallowed because you're demons and prostitutes—it's because of your work that people look down on you. Now is your chance. Work hard, and make sure demons aren't looked down on anymore. You are dismissed."
Maria teared up. "Thank you, Lord. You truly are merciful. You truly are a ruler we can look to."
Liebe waved her off. "That's enough. You're dismissed now. See you at work tomorrow, 8 AM sharp. Don't be late."
After they left, Gelda asked, "Lord, why did you do that?"
Liebe replied, "Well… after Gabriel came in, most of the staff just quit. Because he was creepy. And yeah... so let's hope these people don't quit too."
Gelda nodded. "Oh yes. After the wedding, the mansion has been quite short-handed lately—mostly because of Gabriel.
