Later that dnight, Licht said, "Liebe, so what are your plans after all of this?"
Liebe said, "There are some things I wanted to do, like visit the Middle Eastern nations who never joined the Concord Treaty and see why their borders are closed to the rest of the world and see it."
Licht said, "I'm sensing lies."
Liebe said, "Fine. I'm interested in visiting Sakura again and the Middle Eastern nation of Alaham to know about the stories of Freya and her Óðr or the nation of mikill. I want to know about the God of Darkness. I want to see the books that remain in those nations, the books no one can read. I want to see them. I want to know the stories."
Licht said, "Sometimes I actually forget you are 16 when at work. But same, except I just want to sleep under the sun."
Liebe said, "Yeah, I guessed that."
Licht said, "Let's head to bed. We have a lot of work left tomorrow."
Liebe said, "Yeah. Talking about it makes me realize how much I want to just waste time doing unnecessary things, yet right now the future I want to achieve is still a long way off."
A month later, at Celes Port, as everyone assembled at the docks, the ship from the Empire arrived. As the Emperor and Empress walked down, Liebe and the others behind him bowed.
Liebe stated, "Your Majesty, I'm Liebe Faust, and this is my team, Team Liebe."
The Emperor said, "I'm the ruler of the Grand Empire, Klice the Third, and this is my wife, Ciel."
Liebe said, "It's a pleasure."
As they sat in the carriage—with Liebe, the Emperor, the Empress, and the infant Klaus—Emperor Klice asked, "So, how long till we reach the capital?"
Liebe said, "At our current velocity, it will take the day after tomorrow. Due to internal issues, we will have to take a detour."
Klice asked, "Is there some kind of security problem?"
Liebe said, "Of course not, Your Majesty. The magic beasts in the forests are simply not worth the risk."
Licht was the coachman. Licht said, "Don't worry, you won't know how when we got there."
Klice said, "Please take your time. We aren't in a hurry."
Licht said, "Of course."
And in 39 hours, they made it to the capital. After getting off the carriage, Klice said, "That was quite the journey. I'm surprised this little guy didn't cry during this time."
Liebe said, "I suppose infants are fond of me."
Ciel said, "Thank you, Liebe, for looking after him."
Liebe said, "Of course, Your Majesty. Please, this way. Grandmaster Astreous is waiting."
Klice said, "Of course."
As they reached the castle, Astreous was at the entrance.
Astreous said, "Welcome, Your Majesty, to Eldoria."
Klice said, "Astreous, it's great to see you again."
As they walked inside, Licht said, "Looks like things are going great."
Liebe said, "Yeah. And get M here; we need her on standby, same as you."
Licht said, "Ok then."
As they walked in, Astreous said, "Your Majesty, this is my wife, Lucielle."
Klice said, "A pleasure."
Astreous said, "If you want, we don't mind looking after the young prince."
Klice said, "Of course."
As Liebe and everyone were on babysitting duty, so Liebe did the logical thing and trusted Alysa with Astrea and Klaus as they began their conference.
The discussion became heated, and after three days, the decision was made. Before leaving, Klice asked Astreous, "Would it be ok if I met Bruce?"
Astreous said, "His Majesty is quite ill at the moment. I doubt he can even leave the bed, but I will ask. Please grant me a moment."
Klice said, "Of course."
And after a bit, Astreous said, "His Majesty is waiting."
Klice said, "Of course."
And as Klice entered, Klice said, "Bruce, it has been a while."
Bruce said, "I suppose it has. When was the last time we met?"
Klice said, "Two years ago. It appears Domr's death really has taken a toll on your health."
Bruce said, "Yes, it has. Without my dearest friend, even breathing is hard."
Klice said, "I see."
Bruce said, "This may just be the last time we see each other in this world, at least."
Klice said, "Don't worry. Our friendship won't end that easily."
Bruce said, "If I die, look after my daughters once in a while."
Klice said, "Of course."
And after all was said and done, they reached the carriage.
Liebe said, "Everything is ready, Your Majesty. We can leave when you are ready."
Astreous said, "Hold on, young Liebe. I'm also joining you with Lucielle."
Liebe said, "But, sir, you don't have to do that."
Astreous said, "It's quite alright. I'm doing this for a friend."
As they all sat down in the carriage, and Licht was the coachman, while Alysa, Isurugi, Fate, Elizabeth, and M were in the carriage behind them in case of an attack, as they were on their way.
Ciel asked, "Liebe, you seem especially well with children. Why is that?"
Lucielle said, "I know. Whenever he comes around, Princess Aina becomes so happy, and little Astrea here—"
Ciel said, "Yeah, baby Klaus didn't make a sound when he was with young Liebe here."
As Liebe carried both infants, Liebe said, "This might be a bit much."
Astreous said, "But look how calm they are. They don't let us sleep or sleep themselves. So from now on, whenever we are tired, we might just drop them off at the Black Rose HQ."
Klice said, "That sounds like a wonderful idea."
Liebe said, "Now that sounds weird."
