Liebe said, "Finally, time to go."
Lilith said, "Here are the files. Good luck, Acting Captain."
Liebe said, "Thanks, Captain."
As they headed out, Gelda said, "You all just got here! Can't you like, stay a few days?"
Liebe said, "Nope, this sounds more fun."
Gelda said, "Take care."
Liebe said, "Of course."
As they reached the site, Licht said, "It really is what we thought—an upside-down pyramid in the air."
Liebe said, "It sure is giant."
Licht said, "Let's try to enter from the bottom."
Liebe said, "Don't we have to enter from the top? What fun would it be if we tried from the bottom and finished it already? It wouldn't be any fun. So no, I don't want to try it."
As they reached the top, Licht said, "Well, carrying people sure is tough."
Liebe said, "Yeah, and up here, 10 km above the ground, you can really notice the lack of air."
Alysa said, "I know."
Liebe said, "Let's go in."
As they entered, the first floor stretched over 10 km in length and breadth. Liebe said, "This is going to be fun."
Elizabeth said, "Yes! I'm no longer stuck in the weak four!"
Isurugi said, "Same here."
Liebe said, "Let's find out."
A voice called out, "He who enters, leave or else die!"
Liebe said, "We refuse."
"Then face the ancient army!"
As a giant army of skeletal soldiers formed from the ground—an army of more than 25,000 soldiers with about seven giant skeletons—Liebe said, "Looks like we have to enjoy this. Dark Magic: Afterglow King's Roar!"
And in a single roar, more than 14,000 skeletons were shattered.
Liebe said, "Didn't go as well as expected."
Licht said, "No worries. You took down the 14k; I can handle more than just 11,000. And you guys can take care of, like, whatever bones are left."
M said, "Good luck with that after I'm done."
Licht said, "Was that a challenge?"
Alysa said, "Leave some for the rest of us!"
Licht said, "Light Magic: Blazing Light Strike!" As in a single strike, more than half of whatever was left turned to light.
M said, "Holy Light Magic: Saint's Downfall!" As in a single strike of her longsword, almost everything else was taken down.
As the rest of the giant skeletons came, Isurugi said, "Allow me. Lightning Magic: Cleavage!" As in a strike of his broadsword, he killed it.
And in a few minutes, everything was taken care of.
Liebe said, "Well, that was a great warmup."
Licht said, "Can't disagree with that."
M said, "It felt nice to stretch my legs a bit."
Alysa said, "You three really are monsters on a different level."
Licht said, "How deep into the Abyssal Zone did you really go to?"
Liebe said, "About 1,300 km."
Licht said, "Is that why you are so polished?"
Liebe said, "Seems like it. And for the last three months of my training, no monster even came close because I was using my King's Roar, and every now and then I would just kill bosses. It was fun."
Licht said, "Of course you would do that."
