Liebe said, "Yeah, that's what a list is. And don't worry, if it's too hard, I can get it myself or buy it from the black market."
Licht said, "No, it's my sword. I'll get it, all of it. But for that, I'm going to take a nap."
Liebe said, "Of course you are."
As Isurugi came rushing in, Liebe said, "What is it?"
Isurugi said, "Sir, someone did it! Someone broke Lady Alyssa's record!"
Liebe said, "What?"
Isurugi said, "Someone broke Big Sis Alyssa's record in the arcade zombie simulator!"
Licht said, "What?!" as he grabbed Isurugi and started to shake him. "Tell me the name! Tell me the bastard's name! I will murder him! No, I will destroy the—"
Isurugi said, "I don't know! The high score is by someone named Empress."
Liebe said, "Calm down, dumbass. It's not a big deal."
Licht said, "What are you saying, Liebe? That high score was Alyssa's pride! We have to destroy and close down the arcade!"
Liebe whispered something into Licht's ear, and Licht said, "Ok then. Isurugi, you may go. As knights, we have better things to do than care about high scores in an arcade."
Isurugi said, "Sorry, sir."
Licht said, "Like I said, we are knights. We have better things to worry about than games."
Isurugi said, "Of course, sir. Excuse me."
Liebe said, "Of course, of course."
Licht said, "Now tell me."
Liebe said, "Well, Alyssa's birthday wish was for the week of her birthday, we both run to the arcade in the rain and just play video games without looking at the score. But she is shy, so she has been using our treasure, the Mask of Ifrit—mythical model Loki—to change her looks and go there to play with me. Her alias was Empress. So every day whenever it rains, I go there, but I use my darkness to hide my face, and we play without a care in the world. We got so into it that we ended up beating her high score without thinking. So here we are."
Licht said, "Ok then. But answer me this: do you really enjoy the game, or enjoy playing with her?"

Licht said, "Well, have fun. And I will get the stuff for my rapier."
Liebe said, "Ok then."

Liebe said, "Well, sorry about that."
Licht said, "Good. By the way, what are our plans for Christmas?"
Liebe said, "Easy. Go home and drink till dawn with the others."
Licht said, "Sounds like a plan."
Liebe said, "What do you want for Christmas?"
Licht said, "Honestly, I don't know. I kinda have all I wanted."
Liebe said, "A game it is, then."
As it began to rain, Liebe said, "Guess it's time," as he ran off.
Licht said, "Don't catch a cold, and have fun. And good luck with the record."
Liebe said, "Sure," as he ran off.
As Liebe reached the arcade, he said, "Empress, sorry for my delay."
Alyssa said, "What can I possibly do without my knight?"
Liebe said, "Now that was a bit much."
As they played different games, Alyssa said, "Shouldn't you be working?"
Liebe said, "I should, but slacking off is better. But shouldn't you be studying instead?"
Alyssa joined the game he was playing and said, "Nah, this is better."
As they played together, Alyssa said, "Want to carry me again?"
Liebe said, "Always."
They played for hours. Meanwhile, far away, Hǫfuðbjǫrn said, "Álfrinn, what is the meaning of this?"
Álfrinn said, "As devotees of our lady, it is our sworn duty to fulfill her wishes, right down to the alphabet. And if it required the climate to be rainy, it shall be done. Now then, Hǫfuðbjǫrn, keep using your flames to keep the weather warm. And Líni, the rain isn't heavy enough. Your blood magic isn't sufficient; work on it."
Líni said, "I'm doing my best, but manipulating weather on a 12km radius is a bit hard."
Álfrinn said, "As for myself, I will continue to ensure the thunder is as harsh as can be."
Meanwhile, in the arcade, as Alyssa and Liebe used Liebe's jacket as an umbrella, they ran out.
Alyssa said, "Want to see something?"
Liebe said, "Sure."
As she ran outside the jacket, she said, "Dancing with you in the rain is more fun than running."
Liebe said, "Let's do it then."
Alyssa said, "How about this, then? If you can catch me, I will give you any naughty wish you want—but no."
As Alyssa took off her heels, using magic, Liebe said, "Ok then."
They ran around in the rain playing tag. At that moment, Alyssa and Liebe were at their happiest. They ran in the rain until dusk, just running after one another, till they started to cry from laughing so much.
Seeing this from afar, Lilith said, "Looks like it's time to be the responsible adults and tell them staying too long in the rain they might catch a cold."
Gelda said, "Nah, this moment is far too precious to ruin. Let's just watch while crying from laughter."
Alyssa said, "Liebe... Liebe... Liebe..." as she started to tear up.
Liebe also teared up and said, "Alyssa, what is it? Why are we crying?"
Alyssa said, "When was it? When was it that we lost each other in life while always being with each other?"
Liebe said, "I don't know."
Alyssa said, "Being with you was the only time I felt safe, even though we always rushed into danger."
Liebe said, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry that because of me, I forgot what really mattered to me."
Alyssa said, "Let's never stay away from one another."
Liebe said, "Let's stay together till the end of our days, no matter what."
Alyssa said, "No matter what, let's stay together," as they kissed.
Lilith said, "Well, it's good to see."
Gelda said, "Yeah. Let's take a photo from here. No point in wasting the moment."
Later that night, as Licht was trying his best to sleep, he said, "Dumbass Liebe, I told you!" as noises were coming from Alyssa's room since Liebe and Alyssa were in Alyssa's room. Licht said, "Why the hell are these two like this? Not to mention, I'm actually trying to sleep. At least those two are happy."
