Later, after a few hours, Lumos came out and said, "Licht, I did all I could. He will need 72 hours to heal."
Licht said, "We don't have time. What kind of a goddamn doctor are you that you can't use magic to heal him?"
Lumos said, "That isn't the issue. Healing magic can heal him in minutes. Gaia can heal his body, stamina, and magic in minutes. So why can't you? But it takes stamina. Yeah, you can just take stamina potions, but you can't depend on those always. The body, muscles, bones—all have their limits. It needs rest to heal. And from what I saw, Liebe hasn't been taking any. He needs rest. I can use potions to clear all and make him stand, walk, or run, but then it would just be pushing his body to collapse. I doubt in his current state it can take much more. Not to mention, in the last 24 hours, he wrestled an apocalyptic-level tsunami and then fought a monster that killed 4000 people at once."
Licht said, "Damn it. Fine. We will have to handle it without Liebe then."
As Liebe came out, he said, "No way. No way in hell am I sitting this one out. We need to do this."
Licht said, "No. You need to rest. We still haven't located it. We will tell you when we do. This will be a long day."
Liebe said, "Fine then."
As Isurugi and Licht helped him to his bed, Lumos went back to the conference room. There, Iris was sitting. There were dark circles under her eyes from what she saw. Aoi, Mai, Olivia, and Hedin were in despair.
Aoi said, "Brother, please don't go."
Lumos said, "Don't worry."
Iris mumbled, "So many people in a second... How? How did it happen? How did they all die so fast?"
Hedin said, "It isn't possible. It can't happen. It has to be a nightmare. That thing took down a fleet. The divisional commanders are injured. All 4000 troops are dead. Not a single one made it out. It can't be real. It's all just a nightmare."
Olivia said, "How? How are we supposed to face it alone?"
Lumos said, "Guys? Guys?" As no one noticed him, they were in despair.
As Aoi started to cry, grabbing Lumos's arm, saying, "Brother, please don't go. If you go, you will just die like Father."
Lumos said, "I don't know, but we have the power of the demons of the Ars Goetia."
Mia said, "The demons of the Ars Goetia? Only you four have it. Aoi and I don't. And even then, the Titans that are the Admiral and Fleet Admiral's familias were backed into a corner. What can any of us do?"
As Isurugi entered, he said, "Ahem." Everyone noticed him.
Isurugi said, "Aoi, Hedin, Iris, and Mia. Admiral Licht has asked for you four. He has come up with a plan to track it down and follow it. You four, please wait here. The briefing begins in 30 minutes."
Iris said, "What's the point? We will just die."
Olivia said, "There is no chance."
Lumos said, "Isurugi, please let me go too. I can't let my little sister face that monster alone. It wouldn't be right. If something were to happen to her, I can't live with myself."
Isurugi said, "I'm sorry, but the briefing begins in 30 minutes. If you have any complaints, please ask the Admiral himself."
