Chapter 9 - The Real Reason Heaven Sent a Champion (Auxillary chapter)

Author's Point Of View

Heaven doesn't know what Kai is—yet.

They know something powerful has awakened in the mortal realm. Something that doesn't belong. Something whose aura burns like Hellfire—but feels… incomplete.

They know Lucifer's blood is in him. What they don't know is… how human his heart still is.

So, Heaven doesn't send an executioner (not at first). They send a Judge, cloaked in the language of a trial. This is important for two reasons:

1. Heaven Is Bound by Laws—Even in War

Heaven, unlike Hell, is bound to order, protocol, and divine structure. They can't just obliterate someone without cause—especially not a being of prophecy or unknown potential.

If Kai is truly a threat, they must test him first. If he passes… they cannot touch him.

If he fails… his death is "justified."

This also prevents a direct declaration of war between Heaven and Hell—because Kai is not yet fully aligned with either side.

He is… a gray area.A dangerous one.But also a possible weapon.

2. Heaven Is Afraid—More Than They Admit

The blood of Lucifer resurfacing in the human world?

That's not a war move.

That's a cosmic alarm bell.

If Kai can be destroyed early, the balance stays intact.

But if he can't?Then Heaven needs to know his limits. His motives. His control. They want to see what he does when pushed to the brink.

The Judge's true mission?Trigger his awakening—and see what rises from the fire.

Bonus Layer: The Judge May Have Had Another Agenda

This Judge may not even speak for all of Heaven. She could be part of a radical splinter faction—those who believe that Kai must be judged and destroyed no matter what the Council above says.

Or...

She might have orders to test him—but secretly hopes he'll succeed.

We can play with this ambiguity later. Maybe she returns. Maybe she warns him about what's coming.

who knows, lets see...hehehe.
