The next day, Kevin, Rina, and Mira walked to school together.
Mira couldn't resist poking fun.
"So, ghost-boy, how's the dreamland?"
Kevin blushed, nudging her. "Please, Mira… don't tell anyone. I'm already scared enough."
Rina smiled quietly beside them.
Kevin turned to her. "Rina, tell her not to say anything!"
Mira just laughed harder, but then something changed.
As the academy came into view, their smiles faded.
Their eyes drifted to the back wall—the one that carried yesterday's cruel words.
But today… it was clean.
Not a trace of the insult remained.
And then—they saw them.
Toji and his gang, the bullies from yesterday, were scrubbing the academy walls. They were red-faced, tired, and grumbling.
Some students passed by and pointed.
Kevin, Rina, and Mira couldn't help but laugh.
"Justice," Mira whispered with a grin.
But none of them knew why the bullies were cleaning—yet.
Just then, Kael and Finn ran toward them.
"You guys won't believe what happened after you left yesterday!" Finn said, panting.
"Yeah," Kael added, "After you all went home, Lady Selena came to the academy."
(Flashback)
Lady Selena arrived at the academy grounds for a scheduled visit.
She smiled as she greeted students, walking through the courtyard with her usual grace.
But then she stopped—her eyes fixed on the back wall.
She read the massive letters:
"The children without a father."
Her expression darkened.
She turned to the students nearby.
"Who wrote this?" she asked coldly. "And who are the children they're talking about?"
The students froze. A few glanced nervously.
Then one boy said, "It's about Kevin and Rina…"
Selena narrowed her eyes—recognition flickering.
She called over the teachers.
"Who allowed this to happen?"
The teachers hesitated.
"We didn't know, Lady Selena," one said. "It must've been done at night."
Van Loon stepped forward and spoke firmly.
"They were mocked… they left early. But I believe it was Toji and his friends. Kevin's classmates—Kael and Finn—told me there was a fight. This was their revenge."
Selena's voice dropped to a dangerous calm.
"Bring them here."
Toji and his group were brought forward.
They stood with their heads down, trying to lie—but under Selena's stare, they broke.
They confessed.
"Do you understand what you've done?" she said, voice like steel.
"Do you know how they must've felt, walking into this?"
The bullies stared at the ground, speechless.
"Then you'll make it right," she said.
"Today, you will clean this wall. Tomorrow, you'll clean the entire academy—in front of everyone. Or you'll face worse consequences."
The boys nodded quickly, too scared to argue.
Selena looked around.
"Where are Kevin and Rina?"
Master Van Loon bowed slightly.
"They left early. They were too ashamed to stay."
Selena's expression softened for a moment.
She turned and walked away.
But her words had already shaken the whole school.
(Back to Present)
Kael and Finn finished the story, grinning.
Kevin was stunned.
Rina crossed her arms. "It's still not enough. I want to punch Toji's face."
Suddenly, a calm voice came from behind them.
"Let's calm down, strong lady."
They all turned, startled.
It was Princess Selena.
They immediately straightened, showing respect.
"I'm sorry for what happened," Selena said gently.
"You don't have to apologize," Rina replied. "You didn't do anything wrong."
As they walked together, Selena chatted with them—asking how they were, how school was going.
Kevin stayed quiet.
Selena noticed.
"Why are you so silent, my boy?"
Mira laughed. "He's always like that."
Kevin gave a shy smile.
Selena watched them both carefully—Kevin and Rina.
She felt something unusual in them. Something powerful.
"I remember you," she said. "I saw you when you were very small."
They talked until they reached the classroom.
When they entered, everyone looked at them—
But this time, no one laughed.
Kevin sat down.
Even spoke a little.
Before leaving, Selena smiled at them.
"I'll see you later. Now—focus on your studies."
She walked away,
her presence still echoing through the room.
