The sound of glass and earthware shattering could be heard along with yellings in the large dinning hall of a mansion.The maids lingered around doing almost nothing but secretly grinning at the argument between their young master and his wife.
" How could you be so cruel...! I won't agree to it.I will not lose you to her!" Eva yelled at her husband Hendrixx who watched her with deathly glare plastered on his face.He hated the very sight of his wife and had barely tolerated her presence for nearly three years.
And now, he could finally get rid of her and be happy with the one he truly loves.
"You have not an option Eva do not tell me that you still have those delusions about me returning your worthless feelings...?" Hendrixx paused then smirked enjoying the shattered and crestfallen look on his wife's face.Well,ex- wife soon enough.
"Was it all a lie? When you told me you'd give me and this marriage a chance.Tell me was it?" Eva's voice cracked, evidence of how heartbroken she is right now.His answer might hurt her more than she already was at that moment but she needed to know.She needed him to look her in the eyes and say it's all a prank,That he wasn't really going to divorce her.
"You were so In love with me." He started, making fun of her "knowing someone like you loves me is annoying and creeps me out but I had to use you to my advantage.And now am done." The only reason he had married her was because his grandmother wished for it even going as far as to threaten his inheritance if he didn't marry Eva.Of course he had no choice as his inheritance was on the line.Eva being a sly witch might have charmed his fastidious grandmother into getting him to marry her.She did get what she wanted,but in the worst way possible ignoring her completely making her the only one In the marriage.The marriage lasted more than it needed to and now that his grandmother was dead there was no need to keep up with torturing himself with the sight of her. Eva marched forward and landed a heavy slap on Hendrixx's cheeks catching everyone in the dining of guard as gasps flew out of everyone's mouths.That slap was nothing compared to the pain that she was feeling now.Perharps wouldn't have been so heavy if he hadn't cheated on her with her cousin. "Young master please stop it!" Rosalia the headmaid who had been Hendrixx's nanny right from when he was a kid walked unsteadily into the hall with a walking stick to see what the commotion was all about and came just right on time to see Hendrixx choking his wife. "Why are you all just standing there?" Rosalia shouted at the maids who now made an attempt to intervene in the altercation because she walked in on it.Most of them cursed her out in their minds as they wouldn't be able to fully enjoy the spectacular show. "No.let him kill me. go ahead Hendrixx, kill me and make a space for your lover" Eva managed to utter out despite the lack of oxygen to her lungs.
"Never,ever try that again in your pathetic life!"
Eva fell weakly to the floor coughing violently and uncontrollably as Hendrixx released his hold from her neck. A loud chuckle was heard from Eva making the maids stare at her like she had lost her mind.Yes she was indeed pathetic just like everyone told her.He should have just killed her.What was the point of life when she wasn't really living?' she thought before everything became dark.
