Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The way She Loves

She never learned how to be loved... only how to hold on until it bled."

---

📍Scene 1: His Mind, Her Absence

Kartik hadn't seen Tanvi in three days.

After their night of twisted passion, she vanished.

No calls. No messages.

Only silence.

But her presence lingered.

In his sheets.

In his mirror.

In the ache behind his eyes.

He couldn't sleep. Every time he closed his eyes, he felt her fingers on his chest, her breath against his neck, her words echoing:

> "If I can't have you, no one can."

---

📍Scene 2: The Girl in Black

On the fourth day, Kartik opened his door — and she was there.

Not Tanvi.

Siya.

The mysterious girl who had given him the flash drive. Tanvi's ex-roommate.

> "You look worse than yesterday," she said softly.

Kartik didn't speak.

> "Still hearing voices?"

He slowly nodded.

> "Is she dead?" he asked.

Siya leaned forward.

> "Tanvi? No. She's very much alive. And she's watching."

Kartik flinched.

> "Watching...?"

Siya gave a faint smile.

> "She always watches. That's how she loves."

---

📍Scene 3: The Letter

Later that night, Kartik found something slipped under his door.

A letter. In Tanvi's handwriting.

He opened it with shaking hands.

> "I tried to love like normal people do…

Soft touches. Quiet smiles. Open hearts.

But I only know how to love like drowning.

Pulling everything down with me."

> "You kissed me like I was human.

But Kartik… I'm not."

> "You gave me a moment.

I wanted forever.

So I'll take it."

No name. No sign.

Just a single red rose taped at the bottom — dry and thorned.

---

📍Scene 4: Breathing Walls

That night, the lights flickered.

His fan turned off.

And then—whispers.

Low. Wet. Whispering voices.

> "You said you'd stay..."

"You said I mattered…"

"But you chose someone else…"

Kartik clutched his head.

> "Leave me alone!"

But the room only echoed louder.

From his closet — Tanvi's voice.

> "I never left."

---

📍Scene 5: The Confrontation

Kartik couldn't take it anymore.

He stormed into Tanvi's old room.

No one.

But then… the wardrobe creaked open.

She stood inside. Barefoot. Wearing white. Her eyes distant.

> "Tanvi… what are you doing?"

She stepped out slowly, like a puppet on strings.

> "Just... remembering."

> "Remembering what?"

She didn't reply.

Instead, she reached for his hand, placed it gently on her heart.

> "It still beats. But only when you touch it."

Kartik's anger melted into confusion.

> "Why do you keep hurting me? Killing people? Lying?"

Tanvi looked up.

> "Because I'm scared, Kartik."

"Of being alone. Of being left. Of the silence."

She began to cry. Silently. Unmoving.

Then she whispered something so soft, it barely reached his ears.

> "I've been alone since I was seven."

Kartik froze.

But she said no more.

Just walked to the mirror… and stared at her own reflection.

---

📍Scene 6: The Love She Knows

She touched the glass gently.

> "I don't know how to be normal."

"I only know how to own. To protect. To possess."

Then she turned around, hugged him tightly from behind.

> "I don't want to hurt you anymore."

"But if you ever leave me again… I'll disappear. Forever."

Kartik didn't respond.

His heart ached — not for her madness… but for the broken girl beneath it.

---

📍Scene 7: Final Suspense

As they stood in front of the mirror together…

Tanvi held his hand.

> "You still think I'm a monster?"

Kartik didn't answer.

> "Look into the mirror, Kartik… really look."

He did.

And for the first time — he didn't see just himself.

He saw her behind him — shadowed, cracked, bleeding — yet still smiling.

Then her voice in his ear:

> "We're not two people anymore."

"We're one story... written in blood."

---

✂️ Final Line :

> "He wasn't sure who he was anymore…

But he knew, wherever she was… she'd never really left."
