From the cameras of the mechanical snakes, Harianto saw that Peter Lim was pacing around.
Ashen stood calmly in his dark armor with the usual lotus insignia.
"Why don't we get away first? You can come back again to fetch them," Peter Lim said, trying to persuade Ashen to bring him to safety first with his dimensional ability.
Ashen looked at him and, without any warning, grabbed Peter Lim by the neck.
"Are you trying to order me around?" In a rare display of emotions, Ashen said to Peter Lim.
"We gave you the technology and materials to build the devices. I suggest you know your place."
"I'm...cough...sorry." Peter Lim coughed and struggled to breathe as Ashen tightened his grip.
Ashen wasn't about to go to and fro just because there were some awakened trying to rescue Dr. Uwe.
