Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

Give it to her, she needs it more than I do. Rica, knew the canine's could not only boost one's power, but also could protect the wearer. She looked towards Deman's mate, her head was lowered her green orbs filled to the brim with tears, now that she had a mate she could understand how it felt to have ones mate show affection for another so publicly. She gently pushes Deman's hand away, she couldn't hurt the pitiful omega anymore.

What's her name? It just appeared to her she hadn't asked for her name. It just occurred to her she hadn't bothered to ask , maybe she had really been hurt by his act of hiding his mate from her.

Deman looked at Rica, thinking; she really was like anyone else, even though he finding his mate had been the cause of their separation, she thought about the green eyed omega, no alpha would be bothered to ask the name of an omega especially one that had cause them to loose such strong ally. But he knew now that he wasn't just a chess piece in Rica's game , she didn't see him as a casual ally like the other alphas did.

Deman grabbed her hand and gently squeezed it, they were going to be the best of friends now that their hearts laid with others.

Her name's Gren.

"Gren, I'll keep that in mind". Rica said practicing the name as though to remember it for their next future encounter.

Deman looked at Rica again smiling ever so lightly, a smile that seemed to say goodbye and farewell and an encompassment of all grievances. Rica returned a smile of her own, yes they were going to be best of friends now that they both owned the hearts of others.

On the side a thunderous menacing growl echoed as Gad stepped up and with a fierce growl threw an earthshaking punch into Deman's face. For a while, the scene seemed to run on a slow motion, Deman barely dodging the attack as Rica prepared to return an attack of her own. Brace stood on the side, this time not bothering to stop his brother, if one cared to look closely they'd see the red hue of his eyes had turned darker a color so strange it could grow fear in the hearts of the alphas that surrounded them. He stared at the brown headed alpha Deman as though he could swallow him hole with his eerie eyes.

In an instant, a white roaring figure erupted from the while canine in Deman's hand instantly like a flash of lighting blocking the attack. Then it disappeared almost as though it had never been there. It all happened so fast most omegas didn't manage to grab onto what was happening.

Gad stumbled, a little surprised that someone could block his attack so easily. Rica also stopping just in time to stop her attack from landing on the fucker's face. Brace also seemed to get the reddened hue off if his eyes coming back to his senses.

Deman and Rica stared at each other as though checking to see if the other is fine, and then together they glared at Gad who for some reason still looked upset.

You dare flirt before your mate? His voice was so low almost disbelieving as he stared daggers at Rica. You've forgotten so fast I said I'd kill you should you ever mess with my brother. Gad's face almost looked too terrifying to look at. His aura turning fierce as he prepared to launch another range of attacks. Rica and Deman also readied themselves to defend and fight back, the deranged supreme alpha didn't seem to want to hear their part of the story.

As the two opposing forces readied themselves for the fierce fight, Rica and Gad suddenly stopped. Retracting their hands as they both stared at Loisa.

Gad had felt the fluctuation in his mate's emotions. She suddenly felt so sad. Rica also realized there was something wrong with her sister. Deman seeing the situation had taken another turn also relived his fighting stance and watched on.

Gad felt her down emotions tag at his heart, worriedly he traced her eyes to find out what had caused her such sorrow only to be dumbfounded at the realization she was looking at another pretty blue eyed omega whose eyes seemed to be a reflection of his mate's sorrowful ones.

He wasn't foolish of course he knew what was going on. A repeat of what had just happened between the brown head and his brother's mate.

Beside the omega who seemed to be trying to suppress his emotions was a silver haired double eye coloured alpha female her expression almost seemed crazed a more drastic reaction compared to the supreme alpha's.

You know her? They heard her ask the blue eyed omega - Elkas.

Elkas gritted his teeth, his eyes moving from one point to the other, he'd only met his mate when he rushed out of the venue after seeing the alpha claim Loisa his mate. And already she had marked him without his concent. He still remembers what she said when he had tried to stop her, " it's either I mark you or you die pretty boy". Her aura still gave him chills, and before long he had realized her smile was not really meant to make others feel comfortable.

Yes, we .... Were friends . He said not wanting to experience the bone crashing torture she calls showing love. Not waiting for anymore chaos outbreak, he strode forward heading east away from the crowd away from Loisa even though he wished so much to say goodbye. They were right, omegas were only to be decided for.

The silver head only stared at Louisa a lingering glance one that was meant to be a warning of sort until she heard the low rumble from the supreme alpha. She smiled, her smile quite crazy looking as she said; Dear, Gad , How I wish I could say it was nice meeting you too ...but ... Her glaring eyes turns Loisa's way and as she continues her voice heavy and dark... It's not." She turns to look at Rica her crazed grin lingering; I'm glad we met again though my dear friend." With that she left, walking briskly as though to catch up to her prey that had just slipped through her fingers. However her glance was clear she was going to turn Loisa into one of her humanoid sculptures should she ever near her mate.

Rica looks at the disappearing figure, one thing ringing in her head, this alpha king wasn't sane. And she was definitely not her friend.
