"Never mind. I was carried away." Philip lied. He didn't want the misunderstanding to escalate, so he tried to quench it even though he was hurt.
"Alright then."
Philip forced out a smile before opening the door.
They headed inside the restaurant. He chose one of the exquisite tables, which is in the VIP section.
After they had settled down, Kiara flipped her hair backwards and looked at Philip.
"Once again, thank you for bringing me into this restaurant. I've only been here once due to how expensive their meals and services are, not to mention being in this section." She confessed.
"You're welcome. Feel free to request anything you want." He snapped, maintaining the bright look on his face, making it difficult for Kiara to know he wasn't comfortable.
He was battling with the statement from Kiara about Nina being happy in the Bahamas with Marcus. Several times, he tried to bury the thought at the back of his mind and concentrate on the moment, but he just couldn't.
