"Wait! Did you want to tell me something?" She wanted to get up and stop him, but he was already out of sight.
She let out an exasperated sigh. "I just hope he wasn't listening," she mumbled and gulped hard.
She stood up and walked after him. "Why were you in my room?" She questioned him upon walking into the sitting room.
"Um, I... I wasn't..." he stammered as he responded.
"You were what?" Nina asked with raised brows. "Does it mean you never wanted anything other than to intrude on my phone conversation?"
"Come on, Nina. I was only trying to let you know I've passed the message you asked me to do..."
Nina frowned. "Message? And what was the message all about?"
"Weren't you the one that asked for breakfast preparation by the chef? That was exactly why I came. I wanted to ask what you would want her to prepare," he remarked.
