The Sun Derrick then steered the conversation towards the exploration team, his tone inevitably tinged with worry:
"The City of Silver still organized an exploration of that temple, but the leader isn't Elder Lovia. It's another Elder, Leyton, who is a powerful Demon Hunter and a very experienced Elder."
"Several people I know are on this exploration team, but they've all undergone some changes in personality."
"They were corrupted by the True Creator!"
The Hanged Man Alger said with an unwavering, certain tone.
Leyton frowned slightly, then relaxed.
The City of Silver couldn't possibly abandon the exploration of that half-ruined temple just because of what The Sun said. Changing the Elder leading the team already showed that the City of Silver had a great deal of trust in what The Sun said.
Justice Audrey couldn't help but glance at the top of the bronze long table. She remembered very clearly that Mr. Fool's Blessed had once disrupted the descent of this evil god.
"Really?" Derrick asked back, seemingly unwilling to believe that conclusion.
The Hanged Man Alger said, his tone unwavering:
"Describe their changes in detail."
"They feel like the same people, but they're very different from before. Optimism has turned into gloom, and bright smiles have become polite smiles."
Derrick recounted all the abnormalities he had discovered, finally adding:
"I don't know if it's my illusion. My cognition tells me they are still themselves, but when facing them, an inexplicable panic arises in my heart."
"It's as if only their outer shell remains, and their insides have long since been replaced by someone else."
The Hanged Man Alger deliberated before speaking:
"The situation might be more serious than you imagine!"
"Being corrupted is the best possible outcome. If they have already genuinely believed in the True Creator, then that's the real trouble; they cannot be saved."
Frowning and pondering for a moment, Leyton also believed that the members of the exploration team were most likely already corrupted. He then stated his deduction:
"The True Creator is a True God who presides over the domain of Fallen, possessing partial authority over domains such as Fallen, defilement, and mutation."
"If your feelings are not wrong, those exploration team members might have already undergone mutation."
"Then what should I do? The Chief and the others don't seem to trust me very much."
The Sun Derrick asked anxiously.
Magician Fors couldn't help but sigh:
"For your Chief, there's no difference between Amon, the True Creator, and Mr. Fool."
"They can't distinguish which side is benevolent and which is malicious."
As Fors spoke, she cautiously glanced at Mr. Fool at the very top. She felt that her previous statement, lumping Amon, the True Creator, and Mr. Fool together, was a bit presumptuous.
Seeing that Mr. Fool wasn't angered by this, she breathed a sigh of relief and admonished herself inwardly: I must not say such disrespectful things in the future.
Leyton pondered for two seconds and said:
"Your Chief must be paying some attention to those exploration team members. They won't be able to cause too much trouble."
"More importantly now, you should try your best to gain your Chief's trust. At the very least, you need him to classify Mr. Fool, who established contact with you, into a category that is more friendly and can be trusted to a certain extent."
"This will be more beneficial for you and for the City of Silver."
"Then what should I do?" The Sun Derrick urgently pressed.
Leyton frowned and pondered for a while before carefully speaking:
"My suggestion is not to show too much. Just do what you want to do and what you should do."
"Facing a mysterious great existence, any of your actions will be over-interpreted by your Chief!"
The Sun Derrick nodded earnestly, although he didn't fully understand.
"That Worm of Time, you can completely use it to gain some trust from your Chief."
The Hanged Man spoke at this moment:
"You just need to find an opportunity for a member of the exploration team to show the most complete abnormality and have a conflict with him, and then hand over the Worm of Time."
"Then describe some vague processes yourself, making it all appear as a conflict between Amon and the True Creator, leading to both being exposed, and in this process, it was Mr. Fool who protected you."
Leyton listened, frowning, and interrupted The Hanged Man Alger's narration:
"Doing so is meaningless. The City of Silver wouldn't be completely unaware of Derrick being parasitized and the exploration team being corrupted. They have lived in the dangerous Forsaken Land of the Gods for over a thousand years!"
Alger was somewhat annoyed that his words were interrupted, but above the Gray Fog, in front of Mr. Fool, he didn't show it too obviously. He just frowned, his expression clearly displeased.
Leyton resumed his lazy posture, leaning back in the high-backed chair, and turned to The Sun Derrick, saying:
"What you truly need to pay attention to is Amon, not the True Creator. He will not actively do anything to your City of Silver. In fact, if not for His problematic state, He would even protect you."
"But Amon is different. Amon's goal is very clear; there is something on you that attracts Him."
"Amon's avatars are more numerous than you think. The City of Silver definitely still has His avatars!"
Leyton's last sentence made Derrick's face turn pale, and the relief he felt from having escaped Amon earlier vanished.
Derrick's gaze of appeal turned to the very top, towards Mr. Fool shrouded in Gray Fog.
Klein sighed inwardly. He understood what Amon's clear goal was: himself above the Gray Fog, or more precisely, the space above this Gray Fog.
However, Amon shouldn't parasitize The Sun again. I can observe His parasitism at any time and purify it. Moreover, the City of Silver is not weak; Parasites appearing in some important personnel or important occasions can most likely be discovered.
Therefore, although the City of Silver most likely still has Amon's avatars, they should only be in the peripheral areas, on unimportant people or creatures.
Having understood the general situation, Klein relaxed, leaned back slightly against the chair, and lightly tapped the edge of the bronze long table twice. After attracting everyone's attention, he said in a relaxed posture:
"Don't worry, Amon will no longer casually parasitize or appear by your side. Doing so is meaningless!"
"Meaningless!" Audrey repeated the sentence in her heart, and then added the next sentence in her mind: Because I will act!
"Meaningless? Meaningless!"
The Sun Derrick repeated it twice to himself, then respectfully bowed to Mr. Fool at the very top and said, "Thank you, esteemed Mr. Fool!"
He then turned his gaze to Leyton beside him and asked with great curiosity:
"Mr. Tower, why won't the True Creator do anything to the City of Silver? Isn't He an evil god?"
Leyton was about to speak when he caught sight of Klein's small World avatar at the very bottom, moving slightly, seemingly about to speak. Leyton simply swallowed the words he was about to say. He was curious what Klein would say.
The gloomy World cleared his throat, then said in a hoarse voice:
"Because His goal is outside the Forsaken Land of the Gods. Compared to your City of Silver, He is more anxious to break free from His own madness!"
"In the relatively distant past, the True Creator was the righteous god everyone believed in. The current Seven Churches were all Concealment organizations at that time."
"What?" Justice Audrey's lips parted slightly. Mr. World's words just now had completely overturned her occult knowledge.
"How is that possible!" The Hanged Man subconsciously retorted, but quickly fell silent.
He subtly glanced at Mr. Fool at the very top. The other party seemed to tacitly approve of World's words.
"This... this is blasphemy, isn't it!" Magician Fors, who wasn't a devout believer, immediately reacted that World's words were blasphemous!
Leyton glanced at Mr. World at the very bottom, met his gloomy gaze, parted his lips slightly, then closed them again.
He silently complained to the other party: You really are learning on the fly!
The Sun silently watched everyone's reactions. His understanding of the True Gods was incomplete, all coming from his previous transaction with everyone. But now it seemed that the information he received in that previous transaction wasn't particularly complete either.
Seeing that everyone had been silent for a long time, The Sun awkwardly spoke again:
"Then how should those exploration team members corrupted by the True Creator be dealt with?"
"Hand them over to your Chief along with that Worm of Time. He will handle it."
The gloomy World said in a hoarse voice.
Klein also realized that The Hanged Man's experiences were not very useful for the City of Silver in the Forsaken Land of the Gods, easily leading to errors in judgment. So, he offered a plan based on his understanding of the City of Silver.
The Sun Derrick pondered for a while before slowly nodding and saying, "I understand!"
He then thanked everyone again.
With The Sun's matter concluded, Magician Fors, who had witnessed the entire process, suddenly had an idea. She brushed a strand of her curly hair and said:
"I want to know which family the Apprentice Pathway belongs to. I'm willing to exchange one chapter from 'Spirit World Travels' for it."
"Although it's considered the ravings of a lunatic, based on my several experiences entering and exiting the Spirit World, many descriptions within it are true."
Spirit World Journeys? Klein leaned back slightly, controlling his small World avatar, and answered before The Hanged Man Alger could:
"I know the answer, and I can give you some relevant information for free."
"Okay." Fors suppressed her joy and responded with a calm voice.
Then, World asked in a deep, muffled voice:
"Do you wish to hear the answer alone, or can everyone hear it?"
Magician Fors considered for a few seconds, then, to everyone else's surprise, said:
"Just say it like this."
World showed no expression, seemingly indifferent to this, and said in a low, hoarse voice:
"In the Fourth Epoch, the Apprentice Pathway was controlled by the Abraham Family. Later, it flowed into the Tamara Family, with whom they had long-term alliances."
"In the Fifth Epoch, which is the current epoch, Theosophy Order also has the potion formulas for Apprentice and Trickmaster. It is widely believed to be related to the Abraham and Tamara families. Of course, some also suspect that Theosophy Order is actually a disguise of the Demoness Sect."
Considering that Miss Magician had already met a member of the Abraham Family, Klein added a bit more:
"It is said that the Abraham Family has long suffered from a bloodline curse, and they have to disperse their residences to avoid danger."
