"I do not represent the True Creator. Releasing your seal is merely a request from an ally."
Sasrir murmured in a low voice.
"Do not represent the True Creator?"
"Ally?"
"Which great existence is it?"
All three of Adamantine Veer's heads looked towards Leyton, who was standing beside Sasrir.
It remembered that the True Creator's former ally was the Black Emperor, but now the Black Emperor had likely Fallen and couldn't even be resurrected.
As a Sequence 3 of the Hanged Man Pathway, if the True Creator wasn't so Lunatic, I wouldn't mind becoming a Saint under Him. Perhaps I'd even have a chance to become an Angel, a true subordinate deity.
Thump! Thump!
Sasrir held his staff, tapping the ground lightly, producing a crisp sound.
Adamantine Veer, as if sensing something, withdrew its gaze and coiled its body.
The next moment, the shadows on the ground suddenly came alive, turning pitch black, like spilled ink, surging and clinging to Adamantine Veer's body, like an impenetrable layer of deep darkness.
The strange patterns constantly floating on its body, with a strong sense of distortion, were continuously corroded, showing a tendency towards the Fallen.
Leyton's nose twitched; he smelled blood.
Was it eroding the flesh and blood on its body along with that strange pattern? This level of damage was completely negligible for a Trinity Templar skilled in flesh and blood magic.
A moment later, the deep darkness covering Adamantine Veer quickly receded, revealing writhing, crimson flesh from which blood constantly dripped.
It quickly writhed its body, swinging its eight tails as if uncaring of the pain, rapidly lashing the ground, scattering drops of blood.
The flesh on its body rapidly writhed, and in a short while, it had healed as before, showing no signs of its previous bloody state.
To some extent, flesh and blood magic is synonymous with tenacious vitality... Leyton sighed enviously in his heart.
Adamantine Veer's six eyes simultaneously looked at Leyton, its voice filled with unsuppressed joy:
"Thank you very much for your help!"
"According to the previous promise, all the treasures here will belong to you."
"Besides the treasures that originally belonged to this underwater city, during the time I was sealed, I occasionally sent out some ocean creatures influenced by me to wander, searching for an opportunity to escape."
"Although I never truly found an opportunity to escape."
"But I discovered some ships that sank to the bottom of the sea."
"And harvested quite a lot of treasures."
As the words ended, its eight tails slammed the ground, flinging out bits of flesh and scales.
These flesh and scales, mixed with the shadows on the ground, rapidly writhed, forming Nagas whose bodies were covered in a layer of pitch black.
Their faces blurred, their slender snake tails swaying from their lower bodies, they quickly moved through this underwater city, entering collapsed or damaged buildings.
"Nagas love to collect all sorts of treasures, which is somewhat similar to dragons."
"However, they care about the value of the treasures, not their appearance. They will hide the collected treasures and, when needed, use them to hire other creatures."
Sasrir seemed to understand the Naga race very well. He leaned on his staff, looking around this underwater city, and explained Adamantine Veer's actions in a leisurely voice.
Doing things for money, the Naga race has some business acumen... Leyton muttered to himself.
As thoughts drifted, he heard Adamantine Veer's muffled grunt. He subconsciously looked up and met its six eyes:
"Cough~"
"May I know which great existence you represent?"
"I will spread His name among the Nagas who still believe in me!"
Controlling his expression, Leyton pondered and said:
"He is the essence of knowledge, the brilliance of civilization, the ultimate answer to all mysteries!"
"Knowledge?"
"Civilization?"
"Mysteries?"
Adamantine Veer's three heads each pondered a phrase, and they simultaneously fell into thought, recalling the Pathways that held these three authorities.
A moment later, they looked at each other, then shook their heads one after another, their voices filled with undisguised confusion and surprise:
"It's not the Sequence 0s I know."
"Even the Pathway that symbolizes omniscience cannot be equated with knowledge itself."
"It's a new Sequence 0!"
In less than a quarter of an hour, the avatars Adamantine Veer had dispersed had brought out all the treasures it had hidden in different parts of this underwater city, piling them up at the edge of the square, including not a few Mystical Items of low and Mid Sequence, precious metal artifacts, and ancient antiques.
Most of these items were dusty, their original appearance unclear, and many were deformed and damaged due to the deep-sea pressure.
"This is the first time I've used 'piled up like a mountain' to describe money."
Leyton clicked his tongue slightly and sighed to Sasrir beside him.
Sasrir nodded gently, his tone carrying a hint of emotion as he said:
"It seems it has collected a lot of sunken ship materials over the years."
The Aurora Order's time proselytizing in the Southern Continent had made even an Angel like Him feel financial pressure.
As a well-known terrorist force, the Aurora Order had no stable sources of income.
And proselytizing, with the lower social classes as its main target, meant that the consumption of money and materials could not be effectively replenished; instead, it intensified as the number of converts increased.
Leyton naturally thought of these things. After a moment of contemplation, he looked at Sasrir and said:
"Could I trouble you to take these treasures and convert them into cash through the Aurora Order's channels?"
"We can split it fifty-fifty. The excess can be considered my initial investment in the Aurora Order."
"Yes." Sasrir nodded gently.
As soon as he finished speaking, dense shadows spread out from beneath his feet, surging to engulf everything piled in the square, throwing them into the world of shadows.
Seeing that its reward had been accepted, Adamantine Veer's massive body was immediately covered by a layer of shadow, and it swept towards the Spirit World:
"I need to gather the Nagas first and rebuild my faith."
"I will add 'Blessed of knowledge and Mystery' to the new honorific name and declare to the Nagas that I am already a subordinate deity of that great existence."
"The Lord of the Sonia Sea has returned!"
Before the words had completely faded, Adamantine Veer's figure had completely vanished from the underwater city.
"It used to be the Lord of the Sonia Sea?"
Leyton looked at Sasrir curiously.
"Far from a Lord, more like a local strongman."
"However, if you want to contend for maritime influence with the Church of the Lord of Storms, supporting it to become the Lord of the Sonia Sea is a good way."
As Sasrir spoke, he lightly tapped the ground twice with his staff, releasing his control over the seawater.
The seawater flowing around this underwater city suddenly converged, and under immense pressure, it instantly washed away the already dilapidated buildings.
Before the seawater submerged him, Leyton had already entered the Spirit World, moving towards the Rorsted Archipelago.
Bayam, in the basement of the Cathedral of Waves.
"Sea King" Jahn Kottman and Jogori stood facing each other, their expressions grave, their anger almost solidified.
"I received an oracle…"
"Someone has stolen the authority belonging to the Storm!"
"Immediately issue an order to find and capture the Moses Ascetic Order members hiding in the Rorsted Archipelago."
In the evening, at the "Azure Wind" hotel in Bayam's Dock District.
Danitz fell asleep in the armchair without realizing it.
Dong! Dong!
A slow and rhythmic knocking sound came from the door.
Am I not dreaming? No, when did I fall asleep? Danitz walked to the door with a confused look and distorted the doorknob.
Creak~ As the hotel room door was pulled open, he saw a familiar figure, a figure he often dreamed of, the captain of the Golden Dream, "Vice Admiral Iceberg" Edwina.
"Captain!" Danitz almost shouted.
He instinctively assumed a defensive posture and reminded Edwina to be careful of Gehrman Sparrow, that guy was a Lunatic, a very powerful Lunatic.
"This is your dream!" Edwina calmly reminded the overreacting Danitz.
Oh, right, I'm dreaming, what's there to worry about... Danitz casually glanced at the hotel room, which was identical to reality, even that annoying fat rabbit was still sprawled on the sofa.
Wait! A rabbit? Danitz's face stiffened as he turned his head and saw Bugs Bunny looking around with a surprised expression.
It seemed very curious about everything in this dream, looking at every spot and even extending its paws to pat things twice.
"You... How did you appear in my dream?"
Danitz stared at Bugs Bunny with a grim expression, his voice stiff.
"Nightmare Charm!"
"If it weren't for you suddenly falling into a deep sleep, I wouldn't waste a charm to enter your boring dream."
Bugs Bunny pouted, speaking in a tone that implied it had suffered a great loss.
"You still have Nightmare Charms? Don't you have too many Mystical Items?"
Danitz glared at Bugs Bunny with a terrible expression. Damn it! A rabbit is richer than me, a great pirate worth 4200 pounds!
Edwina looked at Bugs Bunny curiously, then withdrew her gaze and said:
"You are Bugs Bunny?"
"As an animal, what are the different reactions when you consume Beyonder potions compared to humans? Have your Beyonder abilities changed?"
"Ah?" Bugs Bunny pulled at its drooping ears. It somewhat regretted entering this foolish pirate's dream. Why is his captain as annoying as someone from the Church of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom? I'm just a rabbit, not a Beyonder animal researcher!
"Cough cough~"
"Captain, did you simulate the Nightmare's ability to enter my dream for something?"
Danitz coughed twice, redirecting Edwina's attention back to himself.
