"It ended so quickly?"
"Has that 'Sea God' recovered its state? Or has it truly fallen?"
Ethan muttered to himself, feeling that the matter had ended a bit too abruptly. The fall of a "Sea God" had not even caused any stir in Bayam.
After a moment of contemplation, he thought of something and turned to walk out of the room.
In the hall with a lit fireplace, Phoenix sat quietly by the fireplace, writing letters.
Ethan, draped in a black robe, approached in a few steps, pulled over a chair, and sat down, saying, "You're still awake? It's just one letter, isn't it? You've been thinking about it all night and still haven't finished?"
"Did you notice the change in the weather outside?"
"Yes."
"The confrontation between that 'Sea God' and 'Sea King' has ended."
Phoenix nodded slightly, speaking with little change in his tone.
Ethan leaned back lazily in the chair, enjoying the warmth from the fireplace, then spoke, "Who do you think won?"
"Sea King."
"Why not that Sea God? Couldn't it have already recovered its own state?"
Ethan retorted.
Phoenix shook his head slightly, his gaze lingering on the moonlight shining through the window for a moment, then spoke, "Intuition."
"That Sea God was severely wounded by the Church of the Lord of Storms two hundred years ago and has been barely clinging to life. It's impossible for it to suddenly find a way to recover."
After speaking, he buried his head again, contemplating how to reply to the letter.
Ethan looked at Phoenix with a puzzled expression, saying, "You even know this?"
"Just inquired."
Phoenix replied blandly without lifting his head.
Ethan pouted slightly, shifted his posture, turned his body, and casually sprinkled a handful of silver dust onto a nearby cabinet.
The coffee pot, cups, and other utensils there floated up on their own, slowly flying into his hand.
Immediately, he skillfully began brewing coffee over the fireplace.
Phoenix looked at him in confusion, "Aren't you going to sleep?"
"That 'Sea God' won't make any more moves; it has most likely fallen."
Ethan's hands did not stop, and he chuckled softly, his lips slightly curved, "Since I'm awake, why not wait for the follow-up? Maybe there will be an additional development."
"Opportunity is for those who are prepared!"
Dock District, Azure Wind Hotel.
Klein was startled awake by the stimulation of his spirituality. He quickly connected it to something, turned to look at the window, and through the gap in the curtains, vaguely saw the crimson moonlight outside.
He pondered for two seconds, then withdrew his gaze, got out of bed, walked four steps counter-clockwise, and re-entered Gray Fog.
He sat at the head of the mottled long table, casually materialized a coin, tossed it into the air, and performed a simple divination:
"Kalvetua is completely dead."
Clink~ The gold coin landed back in his palm, heads up, indicating affirmation!
A Sequence 3 "Sea God" had died so simply, and apart from its believers and a few Beyonders, hardly anyone would even know what had happened in the past two days.
He then spread his spirituality, touching the deep red star representing Leyton, and transmitted the information that "Sea God" Kalvetua was completely dead, along with the specific coordinates of its hidden ruin.
After doing all this, he materialized his usual citrine pendant and quickly divined the danger level of exploring Kalvetua's hiding place.
Soon, he obtained a result that indicated a certain level of danger, but within an acceptable range.
The danger level isn't too high, but where does the danger come from? The ruin itself? Or the "Sea King" who is also searching for Kalvetua's hiding place?
After a brief thought, he stopped focusing on this issue, extended his spirituality to envelop himself, detached from this Gray Fog, and began preparing for the subsequent exploration.
Feynapotter, Seville.
Leyton had just arrived at the warehouse location prepared by his clone when the scene before his eyes blurred slightly, and then a dense Gray Fog surged forth.
Klein's calm voice echoed in his ears:
"Kalvetua is completely dead."
Along with it came the coordinates of a specific location in the Spirit World.
Is this an invitation for me to join? Yes, that "Sea King" is also searching for Kalvetua's hiding place. After a brief thought, Leyton casually pulled out a pale yellow paper figure and threw it into the corner of the warehouse.
Then, his figure quickly faded and disappeared from the spot.
In the Spirit World, Leyton's figure constantly approached the coordinates given by Klein.
He passed by transparent, illusory things of indescribable forms, and strange Spirit World creatures beyond imagination constantly appeared and disappeared around him.
Even though it wasn't his first time in the Spirit World, Leyton still felt it was incredibly magical, like a fairy tale, but a dark one.
As he gradually approached his target, he felt that the surrounding Spirit World creatures had a strong smell of the sea. Most of them had slimy tentacles, layered scales, and brilliantly colored fins.
After wandering in the Spirit World for some time, Leyton stopped his advance, pausing before a nearly illusory, collapsed building.
Above this building, a gigantic jellyfish-like Spirit World creature floated.
It casually extended its translucent, mucus-covered tentacles, bringing the entire surrounding area into its territory.
The tip of each of its tentacles also bore a white skull, emitting faint, eerie green phosphorescence, swaying constantly with the movement of the tentacles.
After a brief glance, he withdrew his gaze, then looked up with a hint of curiosity towards the uppermost part of the Spirit World.
Although there is no concept of direction in the Spirit World, most Beyonders habitually consider the location of the seven different colored, clear lights that seem to eternally reside in the Spirit World Depths, slowly moving, as the uppermost part of the Spirit World, as a fixed coordinate.
Leyton gazed at the uppermost part of the Spirit World, at the highest point, those seven pure lights. They seemed to possess life, containing infinite knowledge, moving slowly and unpredictably.
As if responding to Leyton's gaze, he felt the gaze of those seven pure lights from the Spirit World Depths, an emotionless, unbiased, pure gaze.
Is this responding to me? Leyton speculated uncertainly in his mind.
A moment later, a figure clad in dark black full body armor, wearing a strange crown stained with blood and rust, with a dark black cloak adorned with red flame patterns fluttering behind him, appeared in Leyton's line of sight.
Is this a Spirit Body that has accommodated the black emperor card and Conqueror Characteristic? Directly accommodating the Conqueror Characteristic, is this action a bit bold? As Leyton pondered, Klein's Spirit Body had already arrived before him.
Purple light flowed in Leyton's eyes, but it could not penetrate the anti-divination and anti-prophecy effects brought by the black emperor card, only seeing a slightly deep darkness, with a vague, pyramid-like object faintly appearing.
Withdrawing his Eyes of Mystery Prying, he asked with some curiosity, "You directly accommodated that Conqueror Characteristic?"
"No, merely carrying it."
"By the special nature of the Spirit Body state, I can call upon some of its power."
Klein, in his Black Emperor attire, spoke in a slightly deep voice.
Leyton nodded gently, no longer focusing on this issue. He then pointed to the other side, at the giant jellyfish that had claimed the nearly collapsed building as its territory, and said, "Why don't you try to directly drive it away with your special Beyonder characteristic? A casual outbreak of battle might leave traces that Jahn Kottman, who is also searching for this place, could discover."
"I'll try."
Klein nodded gently, and the Spirit Body in Black Emperor attire approached. After the giant jellyfish noticed him, he quickly activated the black emperor card contained within him.
An extremely profound majesty emanated from him. Under the influence of the black emperor card, he looked indifferently at the giant jellyfish, meeting the gaze of the skulls on its tentacles.
Leyton, standing a distance behind Klein, raised an eyebrow. The skulls on the tentacles are the main body? As expected, strange Spirit World creatures.
Although Klein's majesty was directed at the giant jellyfish, he also felt that profound majesty, like an emperor sitting on a high platform, looking down on all beings.
Purple light once again swirled in Leyton's eyes. He looked at Klein's Spirit Body, at the false Black Emperor.
Vague images emerged in his mind: ancient and magnificent mausoleums, nine of them in total.
They had a unified style, yet were not entirely identical; it seemed each mausoleum represented an aspect of the Black Emperor...
As Leyton's gaze deepened, he saw much knowledge related to the Black Emperor. Thanks to the unique nature of his own pathway, he quickly understood and memorized this information. Apart from a period of dizziness and a throbbing headache, there were no other abnormalities.
Some Beyonder abilities related knowledge of the Black Emperor pathway, and also a Bribers' potion formula. Am I, to some extent, gazing at part of the Black Emperor's information by gazing at Klein's Spirit Body?
As he pondered, a majestic and deep ancient hermes word echoed in his ears:
"Depart!"
A fear, an urge to leave the spot, instantly permeated Leyton's heart, but he quickly suppressed it.
The giant jellyfish with the skull heads, after Klein spoke, quickly swayed and left this area of the Spirit World.
The Beyonder characteristic brought by the black emperor card is truly useful! With a slight sigh, Klein looked at Leyton behind him with curious eyes and asked, "What did you see just now?"
