Chapter 133 - 133. Risk of Exposure

The full moon sacrifice in December started on time.

This time, there were two sacrifices, one was the reserved program, the chopped werewolf. The other was the painful priest caught by Rudolph.

Rudolph stood in the distance, looking at the altar, where the red priest Mr. Puli was stirring up people's emotions.

They were already used to dealing with werewolves. The dogs fed with medicine were excitedly waiting for the feast that would fill them to death.

The way of sacrificing to the painful priest was very fresh and very cruel. The

means of sacrifice for many apostles was burning at the stake. This was the simplest, most direct and least painful punishment.  The painful priest had his own unique punishment.

The two deacons of the red church brought a lot of iron spikes, some half a meter long and some only a dozen centimeters.

They temporarily found a stonemason and used the iron spikes to complete the sacrifice of the painful priest.

One by one, the iron spikes were smashed into the body of the painful priest by the stonemason.

Palms, arms, shoulders, abdomen, back, legs, knees...

Vanya, the deacon of the Red Church, knew the human body very well. He directed the stonemasons on the side, not to accidentally kill the priest, and the sacrifice time must be long enough.

The priests of pain have a strong tolerance for pain, so they can persist for a long time. What's worse is that they persisted for too long.

The werewolf on the other side had been chopped up, but he was not dead yet.

Around Rudolf, ordinary people cheered to their heart's content.

The priest of pain is a rare sacrifice. This is the first time people have seen a priest of pain this year.

For ordinary people, most of their disasters come from various apostles.

If there is anyone who hates heretic apostles the most, it is not the knights, alchemists, or druids, but these ordinary people.

The powerful heretic apostles are like natural disasters in front of them.

The priest of pain persisted for a long time. Seeing that the enthusiasm of ordinary people had subsided, the deacon Vanya signaled the stonemason to use an iron spike to nail it into the head of the priest of pain.

Rudolf looked up at the moon in the sky. The full moon's mutterings tonight became mixed again.

  "Epidemic... It's too clean here..."

  "Ants are annoying..."

  "Hungry... It's time to eat..."

  "Loyalty to honor..."

"The hunting time is about to begin..."

  "Revenge of the castle..."

Rudolf shook his head slightly to drive away these mutterings.

These mutterings are not directed at Leman Town. Leman Town is so poor that it is not worthy of the attention of so many apostles.

Recently, too many people have passed by Leman Town and poured into Fabro City. There are many apostles mixed in here. The desires of these apostles at night were eventually captured by the moon and turned into mutterings.

Fabro City didn't know what happened to attract so many apostles.

One of them, "Revenge of the castle", caught Rudolf's attention.

He glanced at Mr. Puli on the side of the altar and was a little confused.

The castle should refer to the vampire castle, which is the vampire of Fabro City, the Revno family. What is the Revno family going to do? Is there a big move?

The full moon sacrifice ended, the crowd dispersed, and Rudolf walked to the altar.

The two dogs that were stuffed to death by the werewolf had been carried to the carriage by Sam and another patrolman Fabian.

The painful priest who was nailed to death was also untied from the pillar.

Sam and Fabian were cleaning up the scene, and Rudolf stood aside, always feeling that something was wrong.

Whether it was around the butcher's chopping board or around the painful priest, it seemed a little too clean.

The werewolf should not have shed so little blood, and the painful priest had so many iron spikes nailed to his body, and there should not be such a small bloodstain under his feet.

Rudolf took out a flashlight and squatted on the stone slab of the altar.

He shone the bloodstains and found that the blood only existed in the center of the stone slab, and the blood had seeped through the gaps in the stone slab.     He looked inside along the cracks in the stone slabs. The light of the flashlight illuminated the cracks.

In just a moment, Rudolf felt his scalp tingling. This altar is alive!

He saw several thin tubes that looked like plant roots. The blood of the painful priest flowed into the cracks and was eventually absorbed by the thin tubes under the stone slabs.

Looking closely, they were not plant roots. These thin tubes were more like blood vessels, just like a heart connected somewhere, vibrating regularly like a pulse.

The blood seeped into the thin tubes and disappeared.

Perhaps this is the essence of the full moon sacrifice.

"Sam, you and Fabian are responsible for the two dogs, and Yvonne and I will deal with this painful priest."

  "Okay, captain."

Rudolf and Yvonne sat in the carriage and slowly walked out of the town.

Yvonne suddenly grabbed Rudolf's arm, her expression full of disgust.

  "Another castle bat!"

Rudolf looked up at the sky around him and found that some bats flew by from time to time.

The Ravno family no longer huddled in the red church peacefully, and their movements became more and more aggressive.

"Let's bury the sacrifice first, and then we'll talk."

The carriage carried the two people to the cemetery outside the city.

While burying the sacrifice, Rudolf looked at the night sky.

From the perspective of the monitor, Rudolf and Yvonne, or Sam and Fabian, must be more conspicuous. There are not many people active in Leman Town at night.

Rudolf also hated the feeling of being monitored.

He secretly pricked his finger, and a few drops of blood dripped down.

When falling, these blood drops suddenly turned into translucent blood mist bats and flew away close to the ground.

The translucent blood bats are much more concealed than those castle bats.

Soon, the blood bats flew into the bat group.

The blood bats exploded silently in the bat group, just like a bubble exploding.

Scorpio toxins spread around the blood bats. Soon, the bats were poisoned and fell down.

Rudolph and Yvonne got on the carriage and left the cemetery.

In the red church in the distance, the deacon Vanya bent over, lowered his head, and walked to Pulley with extraordinary respect: "Mr. Pulley, the bats around the cemetery are all dead!"

Mr. Pulley opened his eyes, turned his eyes and said: "Don't monitor these places in the future, the police station, the cemetery, and..."

Mr. Pulley didn't want to have a bad relationship with Sheriff Claude and other local snakes.

Yvonne took advantage of her disgust for the bats in the castle and took some effort to avoid all the bats and went to the suburbs.

Yvonne still had to go through the out-of-control period in the second half of the night after the full moon. The existence of those bats made this even more difficult.

In particular, Yvonne's out-of-control period would last for an hour. Under the moonlight of the full moon, the irrational white wolf would roar and attack everything she could see.

Rudolph was a little sad. This was not a long-term solution. Even if he escaped this time, there would be a time when Yvonne would lose control because of this damn full moon and expose her identity.

At the beginning, the castle bats had not discovered this place, but there was a lot of movement here, and soon some castle bats approached the forest where Rudolph and the white wolf were.

The suburbs were no longer safe...

Rudolph had to increase the release of paralytic toxins. After the blood bat surgery, poisoning became much simpler.

The castle bats didn't react much to ordinary people, but when they saw werewolves, they could find werewolves with their instinctive disgust. Rudolph had to release a few blood bats again to clear the surrounding sky.

An hour later, Yvonne woke up slowly. She was only covered with Rudolph's coat.

"Yvonne, if you don't wake up, I'm going to be anemic."

Yvonne grabbed Rudolph's hand and saw that there were red spots on several of Rudolph's fingers, which were left after he pricked his fingers.
