Running after Rin, Yuta tracked him down. They had been running but Yuta was not clear of Rin's goal in mind.
'Where could he be going to this late'
'Forget that, what do I say to him when I eventually catch up to him'
'I think you should try and console him, it will make him feel better,' A figure saying besides Yuta.
'I think you should continue lighting the fire under him, make him an unstable killer,' Another figure said at the other side of Yuta.
Ignoring both of them, Yuta continued running before stopping at an abandoned building.
Rin stood right in front of it, looking at it with rage in his eyes before turning to attack Yuta.
Dodging the attack effortlessly, Yuta spoke up "What is your problem, dude?"
"I warned you not to follow, didn't I" Rin said looking at Yuta in the eyes.
"I understand but I need to come besides what is this place," Yuta asked curiously
"It was my previous home, the one where my father died in the hands of those monsters" Rin said
Rin turned to look at Yuta asking him "What would you do in my shoes Yuta?"
Yuta kept quiet for a few minutes before speaking up
"I was abandoned by those around me and betrayed by the one who summoned me"
"I don't feel the exact pain you feel; I don't hope to fill your broken heart eiher"
"All I can say, is that I would channel that anger you fell into my revenge, but I don't plan to destroy myself in the process of this revenge"
Looking at Yuta, Rin scoffed "So you are a nice guy right"
"I don't know, how you see it, I will not argue" Yuta said
As Yuta began walking away, Rin called up to him
"Yuta, what do you hope to achieve after you complete your revenge"
"I don't know, I just hope I am at peace then" Yuta said waving his hand as he walked away.
Rin trailed Yuta as they both walked towards the Viper's Tea where both Kuro and Luna were waiting for them
"Have you calmed down now Rin" Kuro said
Unexpectedly, Rin punched Kuro in the face before speaking up "Why did you not tell me sooner"
Kuro stood up smirking "Yeah, I am sorry that I could not do that sooner"
Pulling Kuro up, Rin turned to look at Yuta who was smiling.
"What about you, when are you telling him?" Kuro asked Luna
Luna turning to meet Yuta gaze who only smiled back at her "When you are ready, tell me; I don't want to pressure you right now"
'Unexpected reply,' Kuro thought to himself
The night ended as both Rin and Yuta went back to their respective rooms in silence.
Luna had not anticipated Yuta not putting her on the spot there and there, even Kuro could not anticipate it.
It was clearly not in the cards but it was at least the most convenient way.
Arriving back at their room, Luna asked Yuta "Are you sure you don't want to know"
"Not really, I don' think you are ready to tell me and I don't want to pressure you" Yuta said laying on the bed.
"You know you are meant to do your meditation first" Luna said
"Oh no"
Getting up, Yuta took a meditative pose as he allows his body let magic flow through.
Luna just stared watching Yuta silently, as guilt filled her.
'I want to tell him but I cannot say it now, he is not ready yet' Luna said in thought
The last words as the night around them dissolved around Yuta and Luna
"Hey Yuta, I hope you did not forget our promise" A figure said.
Yuta could not see him but it felt nostalgic like he had known that figure all his life.
Answering back, Yuta said "I don't know you and don't own you anything"
"You have not changed since the last time but at least you are more mature than before"
"I am not going to do anything, just want you to remember your pact with me" The figure said
"Now wake up!"
*HAH*
Sitting up, Yuta stared at the window in horror
"Just a bad dream," Yuta said wiping the sweat of his face.
Luna was still sleeping fondly and Yuta had no plans of disturbing her sleep
"I got to ask her in the morning"
Laying back on the bed, Yuta closed his eyes. For that brief moment, it looked like he could go back to sleep in peace but how wrong was he.
Hearing the morning bell hitting hard waking the whole of Livastin up. Something Yuta had not anticipated and something he could do nothing about.
Trying to go back to sleep, Rin barged into the room waking both Yuta and Luna up
"Wake up sleepy heads"
Luna and Yuta stared back at each other with a blank expression before slumping back on the bed.
