Chapter 60 - Captivity

Under that rude, hole-drilling gaze, Bao Bei's dazed mind snapped into full alertness. He struggled to escape from Doga's grip—and only then noticed that both his hands were bound.

What? What is this?

When he tried to scream, he realized there was cloth wrapped around his mouth, gagging him.

As he thrashed and writhed—

"Shut up!"

Doga shouted angrily.

"You've certainly got plenty of energy…"

A voice came from another direction.

Bao Bei twisted around to look behind and saw a stout man with yellow tiger ears rubbing his hands together and smiling.

I've seen this guy before, Bao Bei thought, but couldn't remember where.

"That fur color really is rare."

The lion-eared man nodded in satisfaction and began negotiating with the tiger-eared man without permission.

Bao Bei flailed around desperately, but Dagi's grip didn't budge an inch and Bao Bei's dangling body just stretched and shrank pointlessly in midair.
